(Clearwisdom.net) According to a Falun Dafa Information Center report
on January 30, 2004, it has been confirmed that Ms. Xu Shuxiang, a Falun Dafa
practitioner from Changchun City, Jilin Province, died on January 18, 2004 as a
result of police torture.
Sources report that on November 13, 2003, Ms. Xu Shuxiang was abducted from
her home by the Changchun City "610 Office1" and police.
They locked her in a secret room, and tortured her. The torture included tying
her to a tiger bench2 for 48 hours, which seriously injured her ankle
and led to an infection. Because she was in such a poor physical state from the
torture, no detention center would accept her, and police sent her home on
November 30, 2003.
She was unconscious when she was returned home, and died later on January 18,
2004.
