(Clearwisdom.net) On January 31, 2004, the University of Pennsylvania
Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology held its 28th Chinese New Year
Celebration and Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate. This is
the 6th year that Falun Gong has been a part of this event. This annual Chinese New Year celebration was filled with the atmosphere of
traditional Chinese culture and arts, and it has attracted more and more
Americans. As usual, practitioners' booth was located in a prominent position at
the entrance of the third floor. While playing truth-clarifying video programs,
the practitioners also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises continuously,
attracting many spectators. Many people had heard about the persecution of Falun
Gong even before they came to the booth, but they could not understand why
Jiang's regime persecutes such a peaceful practice. Moreover, the event organizers also specifically allocated time in the
afternoon for practitioners to demonstrate Falun Gong. While practitioners were
demonstrating the exercises, western practitioners narrated, introducing the
principles of Falun Gong and the unique mind and body health improvements
acquired through the practice. Many people thus started to learn Falun Gong on
the spot and wanted to learn more about Falun Gong. After learning the second
exercise of Falun Gong, a young lady said that she felt wonderful.
