16-year-old Boy Beaten Unconscious for Clarifying the Truth of the Persecution of Falun Dafa in Beijing

(Clearwisdom.net) In December 2000, five Falun Dafa practitioners, Li Yueming, Zhang Jian and Zhang Jian's 16-year-old son among others from Xiangheng County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province, traveled to Beijing to validate Dafa. They opened a banner reading, "Falun Dafa is great," in the Tiananmen Gate Tower. Li Yueming and the 16-year-old practitioner raised the banner together and shouted, "Falun Dafa is great!" and "Return Master's good name!" Later, police tried to savagely snatch the banner away. The boy rolled the banner around his body to avoid having the police seize it. In front of many people, the police became so angry that they beat and kicked the two practitioners with their military boots. The boy fell unconscious from the beating. The Tiananmen police station saw that the boy's body was seriously injured and sent him to the emergency room. Later, the boy was sent back to Xiangheng County and sentenced to 1.5 years in jail.

Practitioner Li Yueming was sent to another police substation of the Beijing Fengtai District. Police tortured him using all kinds of methods in the police substation. For instance, they hit him with batons and electric batons, and cuffed and kicked him. Li Yueming remained firm in his belief and unyielding, and refused to give them his name or address. The police then used a more brutal method. When it was about 5¢ª Fahrenheit outside, the police took off all his clothes and left him outdoors for over two hours. Still, Li Yueming would not tell them his name or address, and said, "I am a Falun Dafa practitioner." Afterwards, three or four policemen poured basins of cold water over Li Yueming and set up an electronic fan on its highest speed to blow freezing cold air on his wet body. Just like this, these police, beat and poured cold water on him for over four hours. Li Yueming didn't even let out a groan. Later, police from the Xiangheng County Police Station took him back to Xiangheng County and sentenced him to four years of jail. He was sent to Jinzhong Jail, and was put in the 13^th Team several times. In the 13^th Team, he has also been beaten up with batons many times by inmates who are genuine criminals and who are under the orders of the political instructor Zhang Feng.
