(Clearwisdom.net, February 29, 2004) On February 19, 2004, more than 30 Indonesian Falun Gong practitioners went to the Chinese Embassy at Indonesia despite the windy and rainy weather to commemorate the several dozen Falun Gong practitioners who were recently tortured to death in China. The practitioners held a peaceful appeal in front of the Embassy to urge the Chinese government to bring to justice the chief perpetrator of the persecution, Jiang Zemin and his followers Luo Gan (Member of Standing Committee of Political Bureau of Communist Party, Secretary of Political and Legal Committee of Communist Party), Liu Jing (Deputy Minister of Public Security Department, Deputy Director of "610 Office"), and Zhou Yongkang (Minister of Public Security), who are directly responsible for carrying out the persecution of Falun Gong.

Thirty-five practitioners held a 2-hour peaceful, orderly appeal. They practiced the Falun Gong exercises and displayed photos of those fellow practitioners who died from the persecution. The banner they displayed read, "Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice", "Bring Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to Justice", and "Falun Dafa is good". Some practitioners explained the persecution facts to reporters from different media outlets. They also distributed truth-clarifying materials to reporters and passersby.

Initially, under the pressure from the Chinese Embassy, police officers who came to maintain the order requested practitioners put down those banners. After practitioners clarified the facts to them, the officers were moved by practitioners' sincerity and kindness, and did not intervene any more.

Indonesian Falun Gong practitioners called upon the Chinese government and the current Chinese leaders to immediately stop the persecution of Falun Gong and bring the chief perpetrator Jiang and his followers Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to justice.

Practitioners also called upon Indonesian people and people from all over the world to pay attention to those Falun Gong practitioners who are suffering from the brutal persecution and to work together to stop the persecution.
