Spain: Letting People Know about Dafa and the Persecution at the "Women and World Peace" Seminar (Photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) The "Women and World Peace" seminar, sponsored by the Spanish branch of the Women and World Peace Association, was held in Madrid on March the 4th 2004. Falun Gong practitioners were invited to attend.

The host learned the truth about the persecution while talking with practitioners

One practitioner stated in his speech that, "The theme of the seminar today is about peace. Peace, however, not only refers to anti-war issues, but, also is about those governments that persecute the innocent. To have real peace, it must be based on three principles: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. Despite what appears to be a peaceful surface, a large-scale campaign of genocide is underway in China. A lot of kind people are being cruelly persecuted merely because they believe in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance. They do not have the opportunity to speak out. It is necessary that we tell the truth to everyone about what's happening in China."

The practitioner said at the end of his speech, "I hope everyone learns to follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance so that the world will become better and this persecution will end." The speech won a warm round of applause.

Spanish practitioners distributed flyers and Video-CDs to all of the conference participants. After the seminar, a couple of the organizers came to find out more about the persecution. One of them said that she needs more information and that she will definitely expose this evil violation of human rights. She said she knows a lot of upright people who stand up for peace and human rights and they all will help Falun Gong practitioners. The host said that he will arrange a meeting specifically focusing on the protection of Falun Gong practitioners' human rights and invite people from various circles to help Falun Gong practitioners stop this persecution.
