Young Disciples' Stories: We Grew Up and Cultivated Together Within Dafa, Now We Help Teacher to Rectify the Fa Together

Recently Minghui.net published several articles about young Dafa practitioners, such as "Young Dafa Practitioners Then and Now," "Young Dafa practitioners Then and Now Continued," "The Story of Some Young Dafa Practitioners," and "Pure and Lovely Young Dafa Practitioners." These articles reminded me of many of my good friends (young Dafa practitioners) during cultivation and the Fa-rectification period.

Before July 20, 1999, when the persecution began, there were many young practitioners in our area. During every winter and summer vacation, there was a "Fa-study camp," lasting about 10 days. We spent days and nights at the camp. Following the lead of the instructors, our aunts and uncles, we studied the Fa, practiced the exercises, shared cultivation experiences, and felt very happy. We were divided into many groups, with about 10 young practitioners and two instructors in each group. We got up at 5:00 a.m. to practice the five sets of exercises together. We studied one chapter of Zhuan Falun in the morning and another chapter in the afternoon. For the rest of the time we studied other Fa lectures from Teacher Li and exchanged cultivation experiences. In this way, we studied all of Zhuan Falun twice in nine days. On the last day, there was an experience sharing conference. Many young practitioners made speeches and shared their cultivation understandings. At the camp, I got acquainted with many friends, and some of them impressed me deeply. Since then my memories of them have always given me great encouragement and inspiration.

In our Fa-study group, there was one young practitioner, Xiao Yue, whose third eye was open. She could see the Law Wheel and some sights in other dimensions. She was only six years old then. Although she was young, her cultivation level was very good. Once, a classmate bullied her, and she cried. When she returned home, she told her mother, "Today I did not perform well. One classmate bullied me and I cried. I did not abide by forbearance as a cultivator."

Another young practitioner in our Fa-study group, Xiao Tian, was 10 years old. He was simple, honest, and quiet. When the camp drew to a close, an instructor asked Xiao Tian to say something. He said shyly, "At the beginning of camp, when instructors said that my exercises looked pretty good, I felt very happy and always hoped to display them before others. Later, I realized that this was an attachment, so I tried to get rid of it. Now I feel I have removed the attachment and will never show off to others. This issue may seem like nothing to you, but for me, I got rid of a big attachment." After I listened to Xiao Tian's talk, I felt very ashamed, since I still had that attachment then. Even now my mentality of showing off is very strong. I am always hopeful that I can show others that I do a lot of Dafa work. I doubt that this kind of phenomenon exits among adult practitioners. Regardless, we must get rid of this attachment to prevent the evil from taking advantage of the loophole and making unnecessary trouble for Dafa.

On the last day of the conference many young practitioners made speeches. From the speeches, we saw how each practitioner had improved, bit by bit. Some gave up the attachment to snacks, some relinquished the attachment to TV, and others became more forbearing. So after each camp, every young practitioner attained a lot.

Later, when we were longing for another term of camp, Jiang's evil group launched the persecution against Dafa on July 20, 1999. Thus, our cultivation environment was destroyed. After that, our young Dafa practitioners took up the mission of validating Dafa.

On October 1, 2000, many Dafa practitioners went to Beijing to appeal, including many young practitioners. In the car we rented, there were four young practitioners who knew each other from the Fa-study camp, some even belonged to the same group. While temporarily residing in Beijing, I met several other young practitioners I was acquainted with. Together with adult practitioners on Tiananmen Square we fulfilled our deep wish by shouting "Falun Dafa is great." A group of wicked policemen assaulted practitioners with punches and kicks, and didn't let young practitioners go. Several of them were arrested, but my mother, I, and some other practitioners were able to run away. Because Xiao Min appealed, her school publicly reprimanded her. But this didn't even slightly tarnish her staunch dedication to Dafa. When I came back, the police also went to my school several times to request my former teacher to dismiss me. At the end of 2000, when I was only 12 years old, I was compelled to leave home to avoid being persecuted. Before I finished primary school, I was deprived of my opportunity to get an education. During this period, the wicked police found my aunt and threatened to send me to a forced labor camp for youths. The evil really goes to extremes.

During the persecution I got acquainted with a young practitioner named Wen Cai, who was 13 years old. All of her classmates know that she is a Falun Gong practitioner, and her academic record is very good. Her teachers appreciate her very much. Her actions show people that Dafa practitioners perform well in whatever they do. Once, during class time when a teacher slandered Falun Gong, Wen Cai immediately sent forth righteous thoughts. As a result, the teacher forgot the words all at once and asked the students, "What did I just say a moment ago?" Later, Wen Cai's mother was illegally sentenced to labor camp. Since her mother could not access Teacher's articles in the labor camp, Wen Cai wisely took the articles to her mother, and many practitioners in the labor camp read the articles. When the wicked police discovered this, they no longer allowed Wen Cai to see her mother. Wen Cai said, "It is worthwhile to let fellow practitioners in labor camp read Teacher's articles." During summer vacation, Wen Cai and other young practitioners went to Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa, and returned safely.

I became acquainted with Guang Ji during Fa-study camp. We often played together. He was nine years old then, and should be 16 years old now. Since July 20, 1999, Gungji has been steadfast in Dafa. Since he lives in a municipal government dormitory court, he takes advantage of this convenient situation and posts Dafa truth posters on the court's walls on his way home. When he went to visit relatives, he also posted Dafa posters on the police department's dormitory court. His actions powerfully surpressed the evil.

At the end of 2000 our area began to establish Dafa truth material sites one after another. Young practitioners also played important roles at the sites.

At one site, there are two practitioners around 15 or 16 years old who play major roles. Enduring the lonely working enviroment, they print materials and carry paper. During summer, there was no electric fan in their residence, and they were soaked with sweat. On top of that, there were lots of mosquitoes. They were badly bitten by the mosquitoes, but they never uttered a word of complaint and were always cheerful.

At another site, there was a 15-year-old practitioner. He was not local and wandered to our area with his relatives. He edited many truth-clarifying VCDs and made the title designs very beautiful. These VCDs played important roles in this area.

I knew Ashan before Fa-study camp. He was 15 years old then. Since he was very tall, we all called him "Big Brother." In 1999, he was detained for half a month after he went to Beijing to validate Dafa. Later, when he was 17, he was made to give up school. Since that time, he has created truth-clarification materials together with his mother. We once lived in the same place for nearly three months. Ashan worked quite earnestly, payed great attention to small issues, and was also very frugal. Once while I was cutting Dafa posters and did not cut neatly, Ashan pointed this out and said, "This will damage Dafa's image." Then, Ashan carefully repaired the poster. I really admired his dedication to Dafa, and felt that I could also perform better. Later, he was abducted by police. I learned that he was illegally sentenced. While in prison he stuck to his belief in Dafa.

San Shui, who attained the Fa when he was 12 years old, attended Teacher's lecture twice. After Dafa was persecuted, he went to Beijing to validate Dafa. When he returned, he was beaten by evil policemen and detained for half a month. He was 18 years old then. Later his mother was sentenced to a forced labor camp and he was forced to leave home to avoid being persecuted. He was not local and wandered to this area by himself. He was responsible for printer maintenance at our material site and contributed a lot. Before he came here, he knew nothing about printers or computers. After he was here for several months, he could maintain a printer and was proficient in computer use. He learned all of this by himself. He also learned to make greeting cards on the computer. Many Dafa practitioners in different areas asked him to make cards. During the Chinese New Year, his greeting card for Teacher was published on Minghui.net.

Xiao Yun also attended Fa-study camp for young practitioners. When our truth material site began operation, she sent materials over. She rode a tricycle which was loaded with very heavy materials and paper, and she never felt tired. She has no fear and can paint lots of Dafa posters by herself. She can also hang Dafa banners with precision and from high locations. Her mind is very rightous and she never feels nervous. Once we were followed by an evil person when we went to meet practitioners who sent us truth materials. Xiao Yun had us leave first while she led away the evil person. Finally, under Teacher 's merciful protection, we all got away safely.

Xia Wen once was in the same group with me during Fa-study camp. He was 9 then, and is 16 now. We went to Beijing together to validate the Fa on October 1, 2000. After four years, he is now a computer expert. He can download material, receive and send emails, and print truth-clarification materials efficiently. He is also a big help at our site.

All of us Dafa practitioners had happy childhoods, since we spent our childhoods cultivating Dafa. Before July 20, 1999 we studied the Fa, cultivated together, and felt very happy. Some of those young practitioners are very good friends now. After the evil persecution began, the cultivation environment was destroyed. But our young practitioners did not fall down. We cannot study the Fa or practice the exercises together. Some of us have been made to live far apart or have not seen each other for years. But our hearts are interlinked by the Fa, and we are one whole body. We all know what a Dafa practitioner should do during the Fa-recification period. We are also trying our best to do what we can do for the Fa-recificatrion. We believe we will reunite some day and proudly share our experiences during the Fa-rectification period.
