Introducing Falun Dafa in Taiwan Government Offices -- With Kind Thoughts Always in Mind, One Can Enjoy Good Health Physically and Mentally (Part 1)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 10, 2004, the first "Employee Life and Health Movement--A Workshop Series for Promoting Falun Dafa" was held in the Taipei Central United Office Building. Falun Gong practitioner Hu Naiwen, Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was invited to give a speech entitled, "Century of Plague Crises? Ways to Have Health and a Good Life." Besides describing professional concepts and means to keeping fit, Dr. Hu shared his own experience of practicing Falun Gong. He also offered free examinations on site. Nearly one hundred staff and employees attended the conference and warmly responded to the speech.

In the conference hall, there was a banner reading, "Falun Dafa Benefits One Hundred Million People in Both Mind and Body" and pictures showing the worldwide spread of Falun Dafa and introducing Falun Gong. Staff and employees were interested in Falun Gong, asked for pamphlets and inquired about locations where they could learn Falun Gong.

Falun Dafa was introduced to Taiwan in 1995 and has been welcomed by people in all walks of life. Falun Gong associations are present in many government departments. This forms a clear contrast with the persecution of Falun Gong in China by Jiang Zemin.

Dr. Hu has practiced Falun Gong for over six years and concluded along with his clinical experience that by keeping good thoughts in mind, one will be more resistant to illness. Dr. Hu referred to Dr. Masaru Emoto's water crystallization experiment, which demonstrated that water receiving messages of kindness and appreciation crystallized into harmonious forms while water receiving bad messages of hate, pain and agony crystallized to ugly forms. Moreover, words, sounds and mind all carry energy. There is 60-70% water in the human body. With kind thoughts in mind, the water can receive good messages.

Dr. Hu also referred to related chapters in Zhuan Falun about the relationship between moral values, mind and illness.

Dr. Hu said that the more people follow Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, the more healthy people there will be in the world. His talk lasted one hour and benefited the attendees a lot. Many audience members asked questions, inquired about details of the series workshops and location of sites where they could learn Falun Gong. They expressed their hope for more such workshops.
