Editor's Note: These incidents should not have occurred, but Jiang regime's shameless defamations cause those who do not have the ability of discerning the truth to hate Falun Dafa. Their lies have caused those who do not have righteous minds to consciously persecute Falun Dafa for their own personal gain. They incite those people with greed for power and money to persecute Falun Dafa disciples in order to be given a pay raise or be promoted. However, heavenly principles are just. The truth that good is rewarded with good and evil behavior is met with negative consequences is an absolute and cannot be denied. Hopefully people will abstain from evil deeds that aim at damaging Falun Dafa (the teachings of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance) and act in good conscience.

Head of Liaoning Ningyuan Prison Met with Karmic Retribution

Guo Yuansheng, 58, the former Administration Branch Bureau Commissar for the Liaoning Province Lianyuan Prison, had been a major leader of the "610 Office" 1 since July 20, 1999. In order to force Falun Dafa practitioners to give up their cultivation practice, he resorted to surveillance, intimidation, phone harassment and arrest to persecute them. He held brainwashing classes within the Branch Bureau system to persecute practitioners. He threatened Falun Dafa practitioners with termination from their government jobs; loss of wages and job promotions; loss of their children's college admission; and so on. Over the course of five years, more than seventy people have been detained and fourteen have been sentenced to forced labor because of his involvement in the persecution. The amount of money he extorted from Falun Dafa practitioners is a staggering one hundred thousand yuan. 2 He has caused Falun Dafa practitioners and their family members extreme mental and physical suffering.

Guo Yuansheng committed grave sins against Falun Dafa and Falun Dafa practitioners. During a big conference at the end of 2003, Guo had a sudden brain hemorrhage. He died on February 6, 2004, after a Beijing hospital failed to resuscitate him.

Perpetrator in Weihai City, Shandong Province Persecutes Falun Dafa Practitioners and Contracts a Strange Illness

Song Yufang, a man in his fifties, is a resident of Luanjiadian Village, Wenquan Town, Huancui District, Weihai City, Shandong Province. Since Jiang's group started the persecution against Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999, Song has been a willing lackey of the persecution. He has slandered Falun Dafa and its founder, twisted the words in truth-clarification materials and put practitioners in the village under surveillance. He reported to his superior every time he spotted someone practicing Falun Gong. As soon as he came across any truth-clarification flyer or CD, he handed it in to the police station. He did not even spare his own brother (with a family of three that were all arrested at once). His niece is now serving a term of forced labor.

In September 2003 Song Yufang contracted a strange illness that made him weak all over. He stayed in a hospital in Weihai City. The experts in the hospital could not do anything about his illness and could only give him injections to sustain him. He would wake up after getting a shot but would soon fall unconscious again.

Wholeheartedly Finding Ways to Persecute Good, Innocent People; Official Dies Before Getting Promotion

Wei Zengfang was an employee of the Security Guards Unit in the 2nd Machinery Plant of the Northern Industry Company. Since July 20, 1999, he had been closely following in Jiang's group's footsteps to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Wei collaborated with police stations in Shijiazhuang's Xinhua District and Yuhua District's Fangcun Town to persecute and extort money from Falun Dafa practitioners. In the later half of 2003, the 2nd Machinery Plant intended to promote him to the position of Unit Head of the Security Guards Unit. Nonetheless, Wei ended up being hit and killed by a car on August 8, 2003.
