The Sound of Justice Rings Inside and Outside Jilin City Court

(Clearwisdom.net) At 8:30 a.m. on February 12, 2004, the criminal courtroom of the Chuanying District Court in Jilin City held a "trial" of Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Sun Fengqin and Ms. Shan Juanfeng. Ms. Sun and Ms. Shan were captured by the police from Chuanying District, the "610" Office (1) and the State Security Team on September 16, 2003, while making truth-clarification materials. They had already been detained for five months by the time of the trial.

The courtroom is on the 4^th floor. Before the trial began, about 200 to 300 Falun Dafa practitioners had gathered. However, the Chuanying District Court openly violated our right to observe the trial, prohibiting most of us from entering the courtroom except for a dozen family members and friends, after rigorous ID checks. Nevertheless, many Dafa practitioners managed to get into the courtroom to support our fellow practitioners under persecution, and to clear out the evil factors in other dimensions with their righteous thoughts.

Around 9:15 a.m., Dafa practitioners Sun Fengqin and Shan Juanfeng were escorted into the courtroom with handcuffs by several policemen. Sun Fengqin thanked the practitioners there with the Heshi gesture [hands pressed together in front of the chest]. The practitioners then started to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil. In the face of Dafa practitioners' righteous action, the police hardly dared to raise their heads.

In the process of the trial, Dafa practitioner Sun Fengqin stated uprightly to the judge, "What you have done to the Dafa disciples is not right. I have done nothing wrong, let alone committed any crimes. Since I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997, I have benefited greatly in both my mind and body..." Afraid that she would expose the persecution, the judge interrupted her abruptly. Sun Fengqin then called out at the top of her voice, "Falun Dafa is good!" Immediately, all the Dafa practitioners there called out together, "Falun Dafa is Good!" "Falun Dafa is the Righteous Way!" "Proclaim Master Li's Innocence!" "It's not a crime to be a good person!" The sound of justice rang out continuously, from one voice then another, louder and louder. The evil was shocked by the righteous words of the Dafa practitioners, and ended the trial in haste.

When the police were escorting Sun Fengqin and Shan Juanfeng from the 4^th floor to the 1^st floor, the Dafa practitioners waiting inside and outside the court building all called out at the top of their voices, "Falun Dafa is Good!" "Falun Dafa is the Righteous Way!" "The world needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," and "Falun Dafa is Innocent!" At that moment, the staff and officials of the Chuanying District government and court all looked outside their windows and were greatly shocked by the Dafa practitioners' voice of justice. A large number of passers-by commented as well: "Falun Gong is indeed great. It seems that it won't take long before the verdict is reversed."

Dafa practitioner Sun Fengqin gave the Heshi gesture, and spoke loudly to her fellow practitioners, "Don't worry, everyone. I will surely do well." And many practitioners replied, "Do not ever give up." Moved by the scene, a bystander who didn't practice Falun Gong asked a practitioner close by, "Do my righteous thoughts help too?" A relative of Shan Juanfeng, also a non-practitioner, was so deeply touched by the righteous field that he told Shan Juanfeng, "Don't give up. You must do well."

During the whole process, several practitioners had been explaining the facts of Falun Gong to the police. They asked the police to treat Dafa practitioners well for the good of their own future.

Some Dafa practitioners posted truth-clarifying posters inside the courtroom, and on the walls from the 4^th floor all the way down to the outside. Others placed truth-clarifying flyers and CDs in the aisle and on windowsills of the courtroom. Others posted a large number of truth-clarification stickers on the telephone poles in the immediate neighborhood and surrounding areas.

We sincerely hope that more people will learn the truth about Falun Gong, and together end this persecution of the human conscience.
