Acknowledging the Importance of Truth Clarification
(Clearwisdom.net) Cao Cao (a high-ranking official in an ancient Chinese
empire) had a brain tumor. Well-known traditional Chinese medicine doctor Hua
Tuo saw this and suggested that he perform surgery on Cao Cao at once. Cao Cao
thought, "You're going to cut open my head, you're trying to kill me."
With that, he sent Hua Tuo to prison. Hua Tuo later died in prison. Soon, Cao
Cao's brain tumor began to take effect. He remembered Hua Tuo warned him of the
tumor before, but it was too late. Cao Cao soon died from the brain tumor. Only Hua Tuo could treat Cao Cao's brain tumor. This is because Hua Tuo
possessed supernatural abilities and methods, which only he knew about. Why did Cao Cao not believe Hua Tuo? Because his post-natal notion was too
strong. Master stated in Zhuan Falun, "Some people consider what they can not understand, or what is not
learned from textbooks, or what modern sciences has not yet developed, or what
has not been discovered, all superstitions." Therefore, when Hua Tuo told Cao Cao that he must perform surgery, Cao Cao
was in shock, thinking that Hua Tuo wanted to kill him. Hua Tuo was also too rash on his part. He failed to explain to Cao Cao that
surgery is to help someone and not hurt someone. And that cutting open Cao Cao's
head was only the process of removing his brain tumor. He did not change Cao
Cao's thinking, and paid with his own life. If Hua Tuo had gotten rid of Cao Cao's post-natal notion first and explained
to him that the surgery would remove his brain tumor, then Hua Tuo and Cao Cao
would both have lived. Cao Cao is like the Chinese people today who believe the lies and false
accusations told to them by Jiang's group about Falun Gong. Their minds are
filled with bad thoughts about Dafa. When the final judgment between good and
evil is made, the people who bear evil thoughts about Dafa may be eliminated.
When Dafa practitioners try to tell them the truth, they do not believe the
practitioners. As practitioners, we must look into ourselves. Is it that when we clarify the
truth, we have not grasped the key issues that are preventing people from coming
to understand the truth? Do we fail to break through the false ideas and
thoughts in their heads like Hua Tuo did with Cao Cao? If we know what prevents people from learning the truth, and clarify the
truth clearly, then numerous Cao Cao's would be saved. Because of my limited cultivation level, please point out any mistakes in my
understanding.
