France: Celebrating Falun Dafa Day in the Metropolitan Region of Paris (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) February the 28th 2004, was the third Falun Dafa Day in Fontenay-sous-Bois, a historically prestigious city just outside Paris. Local Falun Gong practitioners and others from Paris itself gathered in front of the City Hall to celebrate and show people the beauty of Falun Dafa and traditional Chinese culture.

A journalist attended the celebrations and took pictures for a report she planned to write. She said that she was particularly interested in showing the contrast between the beauty of Falun Dafa and the horror of the persecution going on in China.

A lawyer who expressed his wish to help Falun Gong practitioners came to attend the celebrations and obtain a clearer idea of what type of people Falun Gong practitioners are and how they hoped to entertain the public. He was impressed by the high quality of the artistic performances.

The people of Fontenay who passed by were drawn to the show. They did not hesitate to ask questions and many were willing to stay until the end, in spite of the severe cold. There were also some sunny periods, which made the show quite pleasing to the eye.
