(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioners in the Bay Area were invited to participate in the 52^nd St. Patrick's Day Parade in San Francisco. The Falun Gong practitioners were the only Chinese group among the 177 participating groups and gave this traditionally western parade a fresh look.

The parade organizer, Mr. Champaign, told the media that about three thousand people participated in the parade, which attracted one hundred thousand viewers. He thought the Falun Gong procession was magnificent with the beautiful costumes and dances, and had a very moving spirit.

Falun Gong practitioner Lu Hui said that their procession was received with warm applause. Some viewers ran into the procession to ask for introductory materials. Some copied our exercise movements. Many shouted "Great!" The Falun Gong practitioners deeply appreciated the people's enthusiasm.
