Mid-Taiwan Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Conference to Study the Fa and Share Experiences on Truth-Clarification Efforts

On March 7, Mid-Taiwan Falun Gong practitioners held a conference at Chenggong Elementary School in Changhua to study the Fa and share experiences on truth-clarification efforts. Participants included practitioners from Southern and Mid Taiwan who have participated in phone or Internet teams to clarify the truth to the Chinese people. They gathered to study the Fa, send righteous thoughts and share experiences.

Over the past four years that Jiang's group has been persecuting Falun Gong, the persecution has weighed heavily on the minds of Falun Dafa practitioners all over the world. Every moment, practitioners in Mainland China have endured tremendous tribulations and faced the possibility of being tortured--even tortured to death. Still, there are many precious Chinese people who do not understand the truth because they are deceived by the lies fabricated by Jiang's group. With this in mind, practitioners overcame their own notions and mental barriers and picked up the phone to clarify the truth. Meanwhile, they have inspired and motivated practitioners all over Taiwan to participate together.

Practitioners talked about how to clarify the truth with wisdom. Practitioners of all ages, whether adults, elderly, or youths--everyone had a touching story of making truth-clarification phone calls.

A retired government worker from Taipei who used to make fifty phone calls to Mainland China on a daily basis is now making over one hundred phone calls a day. Every phone call he made was meant to let a person learn the truth. Sometimes he got hung up on or scorned, yet he always maintained the greatest compassion. Sometimes he dialed the same number seven to eight times in a row and his determination and sincerity moved the person at the other end. Making truth-clarification efforts is to let people understand the truth. He did it with the greatest compassion and he put a lot of care into it. While making new-year-greeting calls to China, he also clarified the truth. Except for spending time on Fa-study and exercises, he spends the rest of his time making phone calls to clarify the truth.

An elderly man from Kaohsiung pointed out that making phone calls alone is not as good as making phone calls with a group of people. With some people explaining the truth while others are sending righteous thoughts, this can create a very good environment for clarifying the truth. He volunteered his home to let practitioners make truth-clarification phone calls. When practitioners went to his home, many of them felt the strong energy field. He said that he maintained a very compassionate mind and he made truth-clarifying phone calls with the heart to save sentient beings in a comprehensive manner. Practitioners kept sending righteous thoughts and also maintained strong righteous thoughts. Often times when he made phone calls, the person on the other end was moved to tears. He also cried out of joy when a person positioned himself well for his future. He used an example. When he clarified the truth to a policeman from China's "610 Office," he always thought from the perspective of a policeman. The practitioner told the policeman that by following the Jiang group's orders to commit the most heinous crimes against Falun Gong, he would have still have to bear responsibility for his deeds. Jiang is trying to use them as his scapegoat, and it was the same during the Cultural Revolution Period. You have to think about yourself, your wife and kids. He also told them true stories of those who met with karmic retribution and the lawsuits filed against Jiang's group in countries overseas. The policeman was first silent, but then he started to cry. The elderly man also sang a song "Coming for You":

"Coming from far away,

Again and again, I came for you,

I came for loving you.

Precious Chinese people, please listen to my heart-felt voice,

Falun Dafa is good, Falun Dafa Hao!

See the truth behind those lies."

After he was done singing, they both cried over the phone.

An old lady from Taichung said, "I have limited education. However I simply have a compassionate heart and want to let them understand the facts. Making truth-clarification phone calls is not as hard as you might think. Don't be afraid of being hung up on. Don't talk at too high of a level. Just make phone calls to let them understand the truth."

A young practitioner from Taipei talked about how he listened to Tainan practitioners sharing experience on making truth-clarification phone calls last September. Some of the Tainan practitioners were kids and some couldn't speak very good Mandarin Chinese. But their pure and clean hearts deeply touched him. As a result he had the courage to make truth-clarification phone calls. He also let go of various notions that had stopped him from making phone calls in the past.
