Taiwan: Falun Dafa Seminars at a Government Institution (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On March 8, Taiwan Central Administration Building started a "Healthier Staff Campaign--Falun Dafa Lecture Series." The lectures have been welcomed by the staff and have had very good feedback. On March 17, Dr. Ao Manguan, Falun Gong practitioner and director of the Orthopedics Department in Taipei Chenxing Hospital, was invited to give a lecture on his experience with Falun Dafa and his opinion on the way to ultimate health. The event was well attended, without even one vacant seat.

Because the first lecture "The century crisis of plague and the way to a healthier body" given by Dr. Hu Naiwen on March 10 was widely appreciated and highly commended, many people came to the second lecture ahead of time. While waiting, they looked through Falun Dafa introduction materials and photos about Falun Dafa spreading around the world and the truth of the self-immolation staged by Jiang's group. All the Falun Dafa materials were given out, and many people asked where they could learn to practice for themselves.

In his lecture, Dr. Ao shared his view that many things are connected to each other and that one's health is related to one's lifestyle and many other factors. He encouraged the audience to relate morality with the welfare of the human being by quoting one of Mr. Li Hongzhi's articles:

Modern medical research has shown that a peaceful mind and a compassionate heart are the magic prescription for better heath. Dr. Ao said that the teachings of Falun Dafa are very profound and emphasizes cultivating one's heart and mind nature to be truthful, compassionate and tolerant, which agrees with modern medicine. On the other hand, Falun Dafa exercises are very simple and easy to learn. Dr. Ao's lecture received the audience's enthusiastic applause.

A Swedish gentleman was listening to the lecture from outside the room. He spoke Chinese fluently, and said that he knew that Falun Dafa is good and that many people around the world are practicing it. A practitioner gave him a Falun Dafa bookmark and told him where to find Falun Dafa websites. He gladly accepted the bookmark and said that he would definitely check it out online.

Some overseas Chinese from U.S. and Argentina came back to Taiwan for business. When they saw practitioners doing the exercises together inside the building, they were surprised by the fact that people can practice in a government institution. They all said that they had heard that Falun Dafa is good and is very popular in the U.S. Some of them had even attended Professor Chang Ching-his's lecture on Falun Dafa back in the U.S.. The person from Argentina asked if there are any Falun Gong practitioners there. Practitioners told him that there are many in Argentina and a Falun Dafa conference just concluded in Buenos Aires, Argentina's capitol. He was very happy when he was given a Falun Gong flier.

Another group of 16 Chinese-American businessmen came to visit the Legislative Council. When they saw photos of practitioners practicing Falun Gong, they exclaimed "Falun Gong!" After learning the truth about Falun Gong, many of them asked for truth-clarifying materials and VCDs.
