Taiwan: Falun Gong Practitioners at Yi-Lan Green Expo (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) 2004 Yi-Lan Green Expo opened in Taiwan's scenic and beautiful Wulao area on February 28. This event features a variety of themes like ecology, sports, health and environmental protection, and has attracted people from all over Taiwan for the past few years. The expo lasts a month and a half. Beside relaxing themselves and visiting beautiful scenery, tourists were able to learn the truth about Falun Gong from warm-hearted and kind Falun Gong practitioners.

Falun Gong practitioners took advantage of two-day weekends to demonstrated\ exercises and distributed flyers in the park. Their activities manifested the peaceful spirit and beauty of Falun Dafa. Mr. Fang from Masai, Su'ao said he used to ride a wheelchair and had to have more than twenty pills a day to control his five chronic diseases. After practicing Falun Gong, he got rid of all the diseases and started walking without wheelchair or other people's help.

Ms. Lin and her two children from Wujiexiang had been practicing Falun Gong for many years. She said her son and her daughter had been improving their mind nature and disciplining themselves according to the requirements in "Zhuan Falun." They were among the top students in their school and had been selected as model students.

Ms. Lin, a retired high school teacher from Sanxingxiang, said that she had become strong and her skin had become smooth and tender since she started practicing Falun Gong. It is such a great exercise and more than one hundred million people have benefited from it. However, Jiang's regime has been slandering and persecuting Falun Gong for the past five years, just because of its popularity. Ms. Lin thought she should let more people know these facts.

Two Falun Gong practitioners are professional doctors. They gave their personal testimonies of how Falun Dafa had improved their mind nature and health based on their own experience and their knowledge in medical field. When talking about how Falun Gong had won more than one thousand recognitions and got high praise from the president and the society of Taiwan, but Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China had been persecuted by Jiang's regime, both doctors signed with emotion.

"Can I get an introduction?" One more person learned the truth about Falun Gong. At this Green Expo in blooming spring days, Falun Gong practitioners introduced this cultivation practice to people in crowds and brought a peaceful beauty to the warm sunny days.
