Recently Seven Dafa Practitioners Have Been Tortured at a Secret Location in Nanyang City, Henan Province, to Force Them to Make False Confessions

(Clearwisdom.net)

Since March 1, 2004, at least seven Dafa practitioners from Nanyang City, Henan Province, have been illegally detained in the city's Agriculture Guests Center where Nanyang police set up a secret location to torture Falun Gong practitioners until they made false confessions.

On the night of March 1, 2004, Nanyang practitioner Mr. Dan Xinfan was picked up by police when he was spotted explaining the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong to people in the area.

On March 3, we heard that Nanyang practitioner Ms. Tang Qingfen was taken away by the police. Another local practitioner, 60-something year old Ms. Kuai Qiying, a resident of Mingshan Road was arrested around March 2, 2004.

Ms. Zhang Baozhi, aged 52, is a retired worker from Nanyang Locks Plant and residing at the city's Gongnong Road. On March 4, 2004, her home was ransacked and computers, printers, and other equipment as well as some materials for clarifying the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong were seized. She was also arrested. Now police are still hiding in her residence trying to catch other practitioners who come to her apartment.

A practitioner, the 60-year-old Ms. Chen Huiyun, was arrested by the police in hiding at Ms. Zhang's residence when she went there for the purpose of casually chatting with Ms. Zhang. (Telephone number of Ms. Zhang's apartment: 86-377-3260582. Practitioners may call there to clarify the truth to the police who are hiding there.)

On the morning of March 5, 2004, two more practitioners were illegally arrested by personnel from the "610 Office" (1) and local public security bureau. Mr. Li Yansheng (60-something), a retired engineer of Nanyang 81 Plant was taken away and personal property was confiscated from his home. The same happened to Mr. Wang Yibin (50-something years old), a worker at Nanyang Central Hospital.

Now these above-mentioned practitioners are under illegal custody of the police at Nanyang Agriculture Guests Center, which is located behind the city's Silk Weaving Plant and in front of the Armed Police Squadron's branch office. In this temporary detention center, police secretly tortured Falun Gong practitioners in order to force them to make false confessions. The police committed crimes and broke their own laws while they were supposed to uphold the law.

Nanyang practitioners act as one body and have exposed the cases of kidnapping Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Zhang Baozhi, Li Yansheng, Mr. Wang Yibin, and others by the police. Also we are continuing to collect more evidence of crimes against Falun Gong, which we will make it available to the public and let more people in the world understand the true facts.

Those liable for persecuting Falun Gong:

Wang Jianmin, Deputy Major of Nanyang City: 86-377-3892929 (Work);

86-377-3178336 (Home)

Wang Shigang, Deputy Secretary General of Politics & Law Committee, Wolong Section, in charge of 610 Office: 86-377-3310329 (Work); 86-377-3123153 (Home)

Wang Tengyong: 86-13837796906 (Mobile)

Huang Xinhui: 86-13703419618 (Mobile)

Zhao Hongjun was involved in police kidnapping Falun Gong practitioners.

(1) "610 Office": a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches.
