Lawless Officials in Gongyi City Receive Karmic Retribution for Persecuting Falun Dafa Practitioners
(Clearwisdom.net) Shi Xiang, male, 38 years old, Vice Party Secretary
of West Village Township from 1999 - 2002, was responsible for persecuting Falun
Gong. During his term, he exhausted all means to persecute Falun Gong
practitioners. He died in 2003 of liver cancer. Huo Xiaodong, male, 37 years old, was the Party Secretary of Jiajinkou
Village. Since July 20, 1999, he followed Jiang's regime to persecute Falun Dafa
and the practitioners. He assigned "monitors" to watch over the
practitioners. Many people were intimidated. Huo died of liver cancer in
December 2003. Sun Zhi'an, male, 40 years old, was formerly a bureau chief of Zhanjie
Township Police Station. He is cruel and brutal by nature. Since July 1999, he
has subjected many practitioners to tortures, burning them with cigarettes,
stabbing them with needles, beating them with clubs, using rough hemp rope
dipped in water to whip them and forcing police officers to beat them up. Many
practitioners have suffered in his hands. On November 19, 1999, when he was
whipping practitioner Zhao Songmao, he hit himself with the lash and suffered
from the pain for over a month. However, he did not awaken and continued his
crimes, abducting practitioners and putting them under house arrest at Zhanjie
Qin'an Hostel. Around July 20, 2000, Sun received retribution again. The car he was riding
in lost its hood in a crash. But, he persecuted practitioners even more. Then,
he got skin cancer. His skin did not get better, but instead got worse and he
was very miserable. In January 2001, he again was involved in taking
practitioners into custody to brainwashing sessions, during which he beat up
practitioners Liu Qilun nine times in five days. Later, he was transferred out
of Zhanjie police station due to some charges against him. Word has it that he
has had to spend close to 1000 yuan [an average Chinese urban worker's
monthly salary is 500 yuan] to treat his illness, but it is not getting any
better. [Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic
retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions,
is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic
of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe
will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such
as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated
another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet
due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a
compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit
wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely
"following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held
responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of
