Sichuan Province Dafa Practitioner Ms. Luo Junling Died after Having Been Tortured at Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Luo Junling, Lihui County Candy Factory Manager of Sichuan Province, was a member of the People's Assembly Standing Committee. Because of clarifying the truth of Falun Gong, she was unlawfully detained at Nanmusi Female Forced Labor Camp for one year, where she suffered cruel tortures. On her release, she was found to be malnourished and beaten so badly that her body was covered with wounds that were still bleeding. Two months later, she passed away.

In November 2002, she was unlawfully detained by policemen from Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province, while clarifying the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. Because of her steadfast belief in "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance," the police beat her inhumanly and shocked her with electric batons. While being tortured, she shouted: "Falun Dafa is great! Reinstate my teacher's reputation!" The police cruelly continued to torture her.

In March 2003, Ms. Luo was sent to the Nanmusi Female Forced Labor Camp in Sichuan Province where she was held for one year. Because of her continued steadfastness in her belief, the police subjected her to further brutal torture. She was often hung up on the wall, tied up, shocked with electric batons, and deprived of sleep long periods of time. She was monitored 24-hours around the clock by 6 people. Whenever she closed her eyes, those criminals tortured her, beat her, and forbid her to use the bathroom. Therefore, Luo went on a hunger strike to protest this inhuman treatment.

On November 4, 2003, Ms. Luo was released. She went home. She had become mute during her detainment at Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp. She had no more strength in her and was totally emaciated. Her mind was affected negatively and her body was still bleeding from the tortures she had suffered. The bruises on her back, legs and elbows were dark blue, and her teeth had come loose from the beating. She found no reprieve from a constant headache, and she was in great pain. She suffered tremendous pain for two more months and died on January 2, 2004.

Luo was steadfast in her belief of Falun Dafa, continued her practice amidst her great suffering and clarified the truth of Falun Gong to awaken people. She was illegally detained three times, and was fined 20,000 yuan (1).

Luo was respectful of her elders. She had lived a happy family life and a harmonious life with her husband. She, who clarified the truth to save people was persecuted and beaten to death by the depraved and inhuman people of her county.
