Persecution of Practitioners by Geng Huiwen of Hongtoushan Mine, Fushun City, Liaoning Province
(Clearwisdom.net) The organizing department of Hongtoushan Mine of
Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is the major department in charge of persecuting
Falun Gong. Geng Huiwen, the director of the department in charge of the
persecution, works under direct orders from the "610 Office"* and
Hongtoushan Mine Party Committee, and is one of the major agents of Jiang
Zemin's group in persecuting Falun Gong at Hongtoushan Mine. Over the four years of brutal persecution, Falun Gong practitioners of the
Hongtoushan Mine have suffered various forms of persecution. Yang Xiaozhi, Liu Guiying and Cao Likun were fired, and they have been
deprived of their salaries to this day. Pit-entrance worker Wang Youcai was arrested when he went to appeal in
Beijing in October 1999, and he was then sent back to Dashagou Detention Center
in Qingyuan County. After he was released, he had to work every day but only got
three Yuan** in salary. He was detained in Fushun City Forced Labor Camp after
he went to appeal in Beijing in December 2001. He was again arrested by the
Fushun City Police Department in April 2003, and after being brutally tortured
there, he was sent to the Dashagou Detention Center in Qingyuan County. After
that, he was sentenced to three years in prison and is now detained in the Benxi
Prison. His wife suffered a stroke and could not take care of herself, and
neither did anybody else take care of her. In October 1999, Liu Guiying, material administrator of the 7th
Field Pit-entrance was detained in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for one and a
half years because she appealed in Beijing for Falun Gong. Some time after her
release, she was reported [to the police] while clarifying the truth, and
was forced to become homeless. She was arrested in October 2002, and forced to
pay a repatriation fee of 8,000 Yuan. Geng Huiwen sent her to the Dashagou
Detention Center in Qingyuan County, and she was sentenced to seven years. She
was then sent to Shenyang City's Dabei Prison, from where she was bailed out for
treatment because she had become extremely weak after being persecuted. Pit-entrance worker Liu Hongchang was arrested in April 2001, because he
clarified the truth (about Falun Gong). He was beaten so badly that a rib was
broken. He was taken to the Dashagou Detention Center in Qingyuan County,
sentenced to five years imprisonment, and is now detained in Huazi Prison in
Liaoyang City. On the evening of July 11, 2001, Dafa practitioner Wang Dejun of Tuanshan
Street was asleep at home when Geng Huiwen and police station director Liang
Daming came and arrested him. They searched his home, confiscated his property
and had him sentenced him to forced labor camp for two years. Over the last four years, Sui Lisen and Zhang Huamei, who run a drug store,
were severely persecuted. They were fined a large amount of money and forced to
attend brainwashing classes. Sui Lisen got only three Yuan salary each day
during these four years. In early March 2003, Fushun City police took Zhang
Huamei to Xiaobailou, Fushun City where she was beaten so badly that her leg was
broken. The salaries of around 20 practitioners were decreased in 1999, and they did
not get proper promotion. During this time, non-practitioner salaries were
increased. At least 30 persons were sentenced to one to three years of forced labor.
There are still nine persons detained in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in
Shenyang City. They are: Zhou Yuzhi, Zhou Yuying, Cao Yanzhen, Liang Shuqin,
Wang Jinfeng, Li Xiuqin, Zhou Hongqin, Shi Chunfang and Li Lijuan. At least 22 persons have been detained. Du Jinfeng (Liu Hongchang's mother,
an older woman over 70 years in age) was sent to the Dashagou Detention Center
twice, and was twice fined 6500 Yuan. At least 14 persons, including Wang Youcai, Cao Yanzhen, Xue Diankui, Zhu
Baoguang, Yang Xuejun, Feng Zhaojin, Ji Shangkun, Sui Lisen and Shi Chunfang,
were on probation for one to two years. Those who didn't get fired and did not
give up their cultivation had to work every day as usual, but only got threeYuan
per day as salary. They were charged large amounts as "deposit." Feng
Junying, retired worker of a service company, was charged a deposit of 3,000
Yuan, and his pension of 35 months has been withheld. Ji Shangkun and Yang
Xuejun were on probation for two years, and charged a deposit of 5,000 Yuan.
After the end of the probation, they still were not paid their salary. Ji
Shangkun and Yang Xuejun had their probations extended by an additional nine
months. Feng Zhaojin got a probation of one year and was sent to Fushun City
Forced Labor Camp to attend brainwashing classes after he went to appeal in
Beijing. Yang Bailiang, Li Lijuan, Lin Guilan, Zou Likun, Zhu Qinghua, Gao Chunyan,
Gai Guoqing, Liu Guili and Pu Hua, etc., were sent back to the service company,
and their salary was withheld for two years. After reporting this injustice many
times to the leaders of the mine, they got 130 Yuan in salary every month. During 2000-2002, Geng Huiwen arranged two sessions of brainwashing classes
on the 2nd floor of the technical school of the Mine and forced over
20 practitioners to attend each. In August 2002, the Qingyuan County "610 Office" opened
brainwashing classes, and the organizing department of the mine forced four
practitioners to attend. In October 2003, a brainwashing class was held in Luotaishanzhuang in Fushun
City. The class was involved in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. The
organizing department abducted four practitioners and sent them to the
brainwashing class: Sui Lisen, Yu Jun, Dong Hongyu and Lu Yuhai. Some of the
practitioners were harassed many times, and they had no choice but to leave
home. These are only small portion of the facts about how the organizing department
of the Hongtoushan Mine persecutes Falun Gong practitioners. Geng Huiwen 86-13942319570 (cell) 86-413-3368304(office) *The "610 Office" is an agency specifically established to
