(Clearwisdom.net) During the spring festival in China, people are usually busy exchanging gifts or giving each other money and visiting their relatives and friends. Although there is no physical labor, people often feel even more tired than usual. It seems that they are always focused on earning their bread or spending their savings. When sitting down calmly to think it over, they can hardly see the reason behind it.
I had a dream during the Mid-autumn festival in August: an invisible tremendous force transformed the mountains into a flood. In between the water and sky, people were crying and screaming for help. At that moment, there came a grand boat from the distance. Beautiful music came from the boat. People on the boat kept throwing fine silky string to rescue people in the water. Some were buoyantly pulled up whereas other heavy ones were unable to make it. Some did not believe that such tiny strings were strong enough to sustain their weight and they then drowned. A tiny string was thrown to me too. I grabbed it and cried out: "I have hope to be saved!" My shouting woke up my family and myself. Then I realized it was a dream, yet I could not fall back to sleep.
During the next morning, I found a plastic bag when I was taking a walk in my front yard. I picked it up and found it contained a DVD and materials that explained the facts about Falun Gong. The music playing on the DVD was exactly the same music that I had heard from the boat in my dream. From the DVD, the phrases from the Plum Blossom Poem "the grand door to the heavens has opened, but how many people can enter" shocked me like a powerful electric shock going through my mind and body. My tears gushed out for no reason. After I read the materials and watched the DVD twice, I had many questions: why is Falun Gong persecuted in China whereas it gains thousands of awards abroad? Why does it have such miraculous effects after practicing it? I remember that one philosopher said: "Sometimes it seems strange in this human world. People tend to neglect precious things and casually criticize them. They do not know how to treasure things. They badly regret it once they miss the chance." I would rather believe it than just ignore it or pretend nothing happened.
The opportunity now arrives and will never come back. Since Falun Gong practitioners delivered the DVD and other materials to me for free, they must be waiting for my awakening. In fact, they did even more than that after I contacted them. They selflessly sent me the book Zhuan Falun and other Falun Dafa lectures that Teacher gave all over the world. The principles are profound yet easy to understand. My heart entered a brand new dimension where I was exposed to new sentences and terms that I had never heard before. The principles were clearly explained. It truly is what Teacher has written,
"Dafa is being spread far and wide. Those who hear about it are looking for it. Those who have obtained it are delighted with it. The number of cultivators is increasing daily and becoming countless." ("Seeking Discipleship with Teacher" from Falun Dafa Essentials For Further Advancement)
I came to enlighten that as Falun Gong practitioners clarify the truth and send truth-clarification materials to others it is like an invisible golden string that threads together thousands of families and all sentient beings. They are telling us that if we assimilate to the universal principles, we will be reborn. The new realms and new dimensions are bound to manifest to us. They clearly realize that money can only help temporarily whereas Falun Dafa can help with everything. Clarifying the truth is to eliminate the confusion and guide sentient beings to a bright future.
