On February 14, 2004, officers from the Renxing Local Police Station in Siping City arrested Falun Gong practitioner Liu Huichun when she was handing out Dafa truth-clarification materials.

On the afternoon of February 19, 2004, Tiexi Public Security Sub-bureau, Beigou Local Police Station and the Beigou neighborhood administration office in Siping City took Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Wang Yuxiang and Wang Yuzhi away from their home.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wu Yulan is about 50 years old. She was arrested in September 2003. She is now being detained in the 9^th Brigade of Shayang Forced Labor Camp, Qili Lake, Zhongxiang City, Hubei Province. She has been sentenced to one and a half years of "re-education" through forced labor. Wu Yulan's family members are not allowed see her; apparently Yichang Public Security Bureau must permit the visit.

In mid-October 2003, Xi'an Worker Sanatorium Brainwashing Center in Changan District arrested more than 20 Falun Gong practitioners. The brainwashing session was over after three months, but six practitioners who refused to cooperate, including Chen Jie, are still being detained at this time.

On February 18, 2004, Nanjianta Township Local Police Station and Guangyang Public Security Sub-bureau police illegally arrested a Falun Gong Practitioner, and broke into practitioner Mr. Hao Jianmin's home through a window. They searched every room and made a great mess, confiscated personal property, and even took away a very old projector.

After 5 p.m. on May 13, 2002, Daqing City Longan Local Police Station manager Zhang Lin and six other policemen suddenly came to my home and arrested me and my spouse, who is also a Falun Gong practitioner. We were asked a few simple questions by three policemen from Qiqihar City Tiefeng Public Security Sub-bureau including officer Chu Chun. Chief Li from Daqing City Public Security Bureau was there as well. We were detained with death penalty criminals in Daqing City No. 1 Detention Center for two days, and then taken to the Political Protection Unit of Qiqihar City Tiefeng Public Security Sub-bureau with a mother and daughter, whom we did not know. A section chief asked us to sign a detention certificate. We refused and asked for a release. This chief instantly brutally beat me, and then detained us in Qiqihar City No. 1 Detention Center. I was released after two months, and my spouse was detained for nearly half a year.

Before January 9, 2004, many Falun Gong posters appeared in Zhifang District, Jiyuan City. "Falun Dafa is Great," "Falun Dafa is Righteous" and so on were written on red paper. On the night of January 10, police officer Miao Dongming, the person in charge of the persecution of Falun Gong in Jiyuan City, led five other policemen to search the homes of Xinghua Machine Factory practitioners Ms. Song Fengzhi, Ms. Ren Youfeng and Ms. Zhu Xiumei. They confiscated a batch of Falun Gong material from Song Fengzhi's home, and found nothing at Ren Youfeng and Zhu Xiumei's homes. However Miao Dongming and others forcibly took Song Fengzhi and Ren Youfeng to Zhifang Local Police Station. The police interrogated them for the whole night and released them the next day. During the illegal detention, two practitioners were forcibly photographed. The police could not seize Zhu Xiumei because her husband firmly resisted. They were forced to report to the local police station every day.

Dafa Practitioner Mr. Ge Jinxi is about 45 years old, a teacher, and lives in Little Taibao Village, Taibao Town, Taibao Township, Changyi city, Shandong Province. He has been steadfast in practicing Falun Gong, and never compromised to the evil. He used his spare time to tell his students the truth about Falun Gong in school, so the school stopped him from teaching for a while, then later asked him to return. He told the students from his class about Falun Gong after school. The school then transferred him to another class, he then brought the truth to that class and saved more students that would have been cheated by the lies.

About 11 a.m. on February 9, 2004, Ge Jinxi and his wife and son (17 years old) were seized by the local police station and Changyi city Public Security Bureau "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.]. Their whereabouts are still unknown at this time.

After Chengdu Dafa Practitioner Ms. Mao Kun walked out of Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong, she returned to Chengdu around August 2003. Because she was an excellent worker at her former company, she resumed her job there. At the end of year, the company paid her a more than 10,000-Yuan bonus. However it was discovered by the Chengdu "610 Office" (the specific participants are being investigated), therefore they froze the bank account of the company, saying it was because the company supports Falun Gong.

The brigade chief Liu Hongguang, and vice chief Zhang Zhenhua instructed Yu Haiyang and other criminals to strictly monitor and persecute Dafa Practitioners Ju Zaibin, Du Wenfu and Guo Fenghai. They allow the criminals to do anything to the practitioners, and they take the responsibility if there is any accident.

Police officer Guo Gang slandered Falun Gong maliciously, beat and kicked steadfast practitioners, and punished them with electric batons etc. Tangyuan County practitioner Senior Jin was tortured by Guo Gang to the point where his mouth was full of blood, and his front teeth were completely knocked out.

Police officer Wang Changyu came to work after drinks. When he saw firm practitioner Mr. Yao Zhongliang resisting the unreasonable persecution, Wang punished him by forcing him to sit in a special chair called a "restrictive chair" (a torture instrument) and beat him. When he got tired, he took a rest and then continued the beating. Police officer Qian Jiangxin feared other practitioners would hear, so he turned on a tape player very loud. Qian Jiangxin has shocked practitioners with electric batons many times.
