Latvia: Falun Gong Practitioners Call for Bringing Jiang, Luo, Liu and Zhou to Justice Outside the Chinese Consulate (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net, March 7, 2004) Over the past few weeks, Jiang and his followers have intensified the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. As a result, the death toll of Falun Gong practitioners due to the persecution has increased to 901. In response to this situation, on February 22, Falun Dafa practitioners in Latvia held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Consulate, urging to bring to justice the chief perpetrator Jiang Zemin and his followers Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang.

Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang closely follow Jiang Zemin to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Their crimes include aggravating the persecution, and abducting, detaining and killing innocent Falun Gong practitioners.

More than 20 Falun Dafa practitioners participated in this appeal. The practitioners expressed their wish to let people learn that the ongoing state-sanctioned terrorism in China against its own people cannot be tolerated. Practitioners hoped that more people would be aware of the human rights violations happening in China, as well as the worldwide opposition to this unlawful persecution.

Several media outlets came to cover the story. Among them, Baltic News Service reported this appeal in three languages including Latin, Russian and English.
