Falun Dafa Practitioner Zhang Guangxian from Guizhou Province Passes Away Under Great Strain Caused by the Persecution


(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Guangxian was from Xiuwen County, Guizhou Province. Her son Hu Dali is also a Falun Dafa practitioner, and was sentenced 10 years in prison. He was tortured in Lannigou Detention Center, leaving both legs disabled, then sent to Duyun City No.4 Prison in Guizhou Province. Ms. Zhang died on February 22, 2004, in the hospital where her son used to work.

Ms. Zhang Guangxian was in her 50s, a resident of Liuguang Town, Xiuwen County, Guizhou Province. Her many diseases were cured after she began practicing Falun Dafa. Because her now disabled son Hu Dali was sentenced 10 years in prison (Reported on Clearwisdom http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2003/11/20/42414.html), she sought help in gaining his release for medical reasons. Because he refused to write the "Three Statements 1," her requests were rejected. Hu Dali was secretly transferred to Duyun City No.4 Prison in Guizhou Province, adding to her grief and causing tremendous stress.

While her son was tortured in prison, she faced ongoing harassment and threats at home. At the end of 2003, officers entered her home, hoping to force her to give up cultivation. They grabbed her hand, trying to make her write the "Three Statements." She absolutely refused. After enduring repeated harassment and intimidation, she passed away on the evening of February 22, 2004, at the Xiuwen County Chinese Medicine Hospital in Guizhou Province.
