Practitioner Mr. Liu Mingjie from Fushun City, Liaoning Province Persecuted to the Point of Mental Collapse in the Dabei Second Jail

(Clearwisdom.net) Fushun City practitioner Mr. Liu Mingjie, has been tortured to the point of mental collapse by authorities loyal to Jiang's group.

In October 2000, Mr. Liu Mingjie bought a high-speed printer and downloaded materials clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution from Minghui. He used the printer to make many copies of them, and handed them out and posted them on the street. On October 6, 2000, he was abducted by the authorities after some one turned him in. He was held at the Fushun First Detention Center. During his detention he was forced to work for long hours. He was often beaten by the people imprisoned with him under the direction of the prison officials. Often he couldn't finish his work quota. He was allowed to sleep only three or four hours a day. These tortures lasted for eight months. Then he was illegally sentenced to three years in the Dabei Second Jail.

Mr. Liu Mingjie experienced tremendous mental and physical tortures while he was being held in the Dabei Second Jail. He was punished by being locked in a tiny, solitary cell several times for three months at a time. His hip began to fester and his legs couldn't move, finally his mental health broke down. The person who was responsible for the persecution is Li Jianguo, the policeman from the Dabei Second Jail.

After Mr. Liu Mingjie was released, his family found scars on his lower back and needle marks on his body. The needle marks on his lumbar vertebrae were very clear. Mr. Liu Mingjie feels dizzy and passes out all the time. He is very irritable and can't control his actions. In the winter, for example, he would go out and lie on the main streets. Jiang's group is responsible for his mental collapse.
