Solemn Declaration
I went to Tiananmen Square on October 10, 2000, to practice in the square to validate Falun Dafa. The police arrested me and sent me back to my hometown, where I was locked in the detention center for a month. They illegally extorted almost 10,000 yuan from me. [500 yuan is the average monthly income for an urban worker in China.] After my husband and daughter wrote a "guarantee statement (1)" for me, I was released. When I left the detention center the police held me down, forcefully took my hand and put my fingerprint on a legal document. I still don't know what that paper said. Through Fa study I learned the seriousness of Dafa. I hereby declare: all that I've said and done that are not in accordance with Dafa are null and void. The "guarantee statement" that my husband and daughter wrote, and things they said that aren't in accordance to Dafa, are null and void. I will do the 3 things Master has asked of us (2) and follow the process of Fa-rectification. I'll re-double my effort and compensate for the damage I've done to Dafa.

Solemn Declaration
I obtained the Fa in 1997. Since the persecution of Falun Gong started in July 20, 1999, my mind had been very confused. I felt the great pressure, and I've committed disrespectful things to the Teacher; I wrote the "guarantee statement" saying that I would give up my practice. Through steady progress from Fa study I have learned that the source of my thoughts is selfishness. Dafa and cultivation are serious. I think I've not been responsible to Dafa. As a practitioner in the Fa-rectification period we have to be responsible to Dafa. What we do must be righteous. We can't allow anyone to be disrespectful toward Dafa, no matter what the excuse. We have a historic mission to complete; we have to validate Dafa and bring salvation to sentient beings. I hereby declare on Clearwisdom.net that I'll rectify my acts; all the "guarantees" are null and void. I'll re-double my effort and compensate for the damage I've done to Dafa.

- Guarantee statement: A statement to declare that one is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners.
- The three things master has asked of us are study the Falun Dafa principles, explain the facts of the persecution, and send righteous thoughts.
