(Clearwisdom. net) Chengdu City Dafa disciple Ms. Yang Jingxia, 69, a professor at Sichuan University's College of Architecture and Environmental Protection, is an expert in environmental protection and a very compassionate person. In May 2003 she was abducted from her home by Chengdu City "610 Office" ⁽¹⁾ police and detained in Chengdu City's No. 1 Detention Center. She was illegally tried recently by the Wuhou District Court.

Ms. Luo Ping, 31, a faculty member in the university's College of Public Health, was abducted from her home by Chengdu City "610 Office" and detained in Chengdu City's No. 1 Detention Center. She was tried recently by the Wuhou District Court.

Mr. Wang Haibo, an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics, was sentenced to three years in prison recently, and was imprisoned in Chengdu City's No. 1 Detention Center. He is currently appealing the charge.

Ms. Fang Hui, an associate professor in the College of Foreign Studies, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. She is having chronic health problems due to a long-term hunger strike.

Mr. Li Ming, 31, was arrested by "610 Office" police while clarifying the truth on Sichuan University campus in December 2002. He was imprisoned in Chengdu City's No. 1 Detention Center. His current situation is unknown.
