People in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province Evaluate Falun Gong and Those Who Are Conducting the Persecution

1. University faculty member: "The reason that I got to know you is to learn the truth about Falun Gong."

After learning the truth about Falun Gong, a university faculty member said emphatically, "I feel that the reason that I got to know you is to learn the truth about Falun Gong today. As a university faculty member, I've always felt that I am an intelligent person. However, if even I was still deceived by Jiang Zemin's lies, many others would undoubtedly be as well. Jiang Zemin really is bringing disaster to people. It's wonderful that you gave me the website address of Falun Gong; I will certainly take a look. It's time for me to wake up. Thank you so much!"

2. A taxi driver says, "Many Falun Gong practitioners have taken my taxi. Their behavior is exceptionally good."

This taxi driver who learned the truth about Falun Gong said, "I wondered before that if Falun Gong is not good, why there are so many people who practice it. Many Falun Gong practitioners have taken my taxi, and I've found that they are very polite, and their behavior is exceptionally good. They are really good people. Compared to them, Daqing City policemen look very bad. Besides arresting Falun Gong practitioners, they have no other capability."

3. A company executive says, "Nobody wants to promote those who don't have their own judgment, and cannot tell good from evil."

After learning the truth about Dafa, the executive said, "Why were twenty five Falun Gong practitioners tortured to death? It's because some Daqing City officials only follow orders. What Falun Gong practitioner is not a good person? Some of these officials' relatives practice Falun Gong. How is it that they are not able to tell whether or not Falun Gong is good? Even though they know Falun Gong is good, they still conduct the persecution against it. All they want is a promotion. However, none of them has been promoted, regardless of the fact that Daqing City has generated a lot of tax income for the government. Why? It's because nobody wants to promote people who don't have their own judgment, and cannot tell good from evil."

4. Quote from an attorney: "Justice and evil have their own standards, whether a person or a political party likes it or not."

A partner of a law firm who learned the truth of Falun Gong said, "According to the Constitution, everyone has his or her freedom of religious belief. It's a personal choice whether you want to believe something or not. You don't have to practice Falun Gong; however, if you force others to give up their belief, you are in violation of the law. The officials in Daqing City follow the orders of high ranking officials very closely, and require us attorneys not to defend Falun Gong practitioners. To do this is to forbid people to defend their human rights. These are the characteristics of Jiang Zemin's leadership. I think Jiang Zemin's regime is the one that acts like an evil cult. Justice and evil have their own standards, regardless of whether a person or a political party likes it or not."

5. An accountant says, "That fellow is notorious for persecuting Falun Gong in Mudanjiang City. The day before he took a post, he was being investigated for criminal acts and under house arrest."

He said, "Why is the persecution of Falun Gong so severe in Daqing City that twenty-five practitioners have died as a result? Those people in the "610 Office" (1) all came from different work units, and they wanted to get promotions by taking advantage of this opportunity. When the "610 Office" was established, they did not even dare to formally announce it. Using those people to control good people, how can they not treat Falun Gong practitioners as enemies? The Daqing Police Department moved a director from Mudanjiang City, and that man was then under investigation for criminal acts and under house arrest just before reporting to the new post. It's said that the man was notorious for persecuting Falun Gong in Mudanjiang City. Isn't he getting karmic retribution for persecuting good people?"
