People Are Searching for the Truth

(Clearwisdom.net) Due to persecution, I had been forced to move from my home. However, I never miss any chance to clarify the truth to people. I have a small store and talk to my customers a lot about Falun Dafa. The following are a few stories that I thought were quite remarkable. They made me realize the importance of talking to the precious people that have predestined relationships with us.

One day, a girl came into my store for the second time. She said, "I am not buying anything today. I just felt that you are such a nice person and I enjoy being with you. Can I help you with anything?" Then she started to help me. I felt that this girl must have a predestined relationship with me and she was here to hear about Dafa.

I chatted with her as we were working. I asked her, "Do you know why I look like a nice person?" She shook her head with her eyes wide open. I said, "Because I believe in Buddha." Her hands and facial expression froze. She asked, "It is not Falun Gong, is it? If you are too into that, won't you kill yourself?" I replied calmly, "Have you ever been hurt by Falun Gong? Do you know of anybody who practices Falun Gong committing suicide?" She said no. I then told her that Falun Gong's teachings are about being good. I told her some of the principles that I have enlightened to, and also told her why Jiang Zemin persecutes Falun Gong and how the practitioners are persecuted. She was shaking with her arms around her shoulders while she was listening to me, and said, "Jiang Zemin is so despicable and horrible. Thank you for telling me all this, as otherwise I would continue to laugh at and say bad things about Falun Gong. Now I really regret what I've done in the past." She thanked me for telling her the facts.

In my store, people stared at me and then commented, "You look really nice. I enjoy looking at you." Of course I know why. Once, while I smiled at one customer who asked me about the price, other customers stared at me. I asked her, "What are you looking at?" She said, "I enjoy looking at you. Your smile is so beautiful and it feels good to look at you." I told them that I believe in Buddha and asked if they do, too. They both said yes. Then I asked what school they belong to, they looked puzzled. "We did not know that it was so complicated." I said, "Both of you have kind hearts. But you are frustrated that you haven't found that right school and teacher, right?" They nodded. I then told them much about Falun Dafa. They were very pleased, as well as amazed. They listened to me for the whole time and invited me to go to their place to talk more. Then I went to their shop. I told them a lot, as if we were fulfilling an agreement made thousands of years ago. Everybody listened intently.

When they saw me off, one of them said, "Your smile is just unforgettable. It's so beautiful." After I left, their colleagues commented, "Your friend knows so much about life. We were so confused. Now we seem to have understood a lot." Later, when their colleagues saw me, she thanked me, "We really enjoyed talking to you." Through this experience, I realized how great our Teacher is. It's the Great Law that has given us the wisdom.

Teacher said at "Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference":

"Also, with those people that you run into by chance, who you run into in daily life, and the people you run into at work, you should all clarify the truth to them. Even when in your daily life you pass by people so quickly that you don't have a chance to talk to them, you should still leave them with your compassion and kindness. Don't lose those who should be saved, especially those with predestined connections."

Let's follow our Teacher's teaching and do the three things rationally and save more precious people.
