(Clearwisdom.net) A lot of Falun Gong truth clarification VCDs appeared during the Chinese Spring Festival in Kongnong Village, Luoyang City, Henan Province. The village police station and "610 Office" conducted a search, trying to find out where they all came from. Without any evidence, they searched two practitioners' houses, illegally arrested three practitioners and also extorted 3000 yuan from each as a so-called "investigation fee."

In order to rescue the detained Dafa practitioners, local practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts together at a certain time to clear out the persecution. Some posted Dafa flyers on the police station's door where practitioners were locked up. When a policeman saw it, he took it down and indicated that he would arrest whoever posted flyers next. When he came back after going to the restroom, he saw the flyer on the door again. He was totally shocked. Not long after that, all the detained practitioners were released.

The village leaders and most of the villagers were angry and unhappy about the unlawful activities conducted by the town "610 Office" and the police. Someone said, "Why can we not watch the VCD? Locking them (the practitioners) up for no reason is not fair. I could barely get 120 yuan a month for my retirement. A fine of 3000 yuan for an investigation fee plus the poor quality of food in the jail makes me wonder where all the money goes?"

After this incident, the "610 Office" director was hospitalized. After he was discharged from the hospital, he insisted on resigning. He had realized that he could not do those wicked things any more. One of his staff also quit.
