Officials in Donggang City, Liaoning Province Receive Karmic Retribution After Persecuting Dafa Practitioners

Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

(Clearwisdom.net) Some officials in Donggang city were deceived by the lies spread by Jiang Zemin. Tempted by personal gain, they continually persecuted Falun Gong practitioners and committed serious crimes. According to the principle of good meeting with good and evil being met with karmic retribution, they have been punished for their deeds.

Chen Fucai, the former Heigou Township Deputy Police Chief, was heavily involved in arresting and beating Dafa practitioners. Last November of 2003, he had a collision with a three-wheel motorcycle while he was riding his own motorcycle. He was thrown off his motorcycle and killed by an oncoming car.

Wang Chunyu, the former Majiadian Township Police Station chief, frequently slandered Dafa and Teacher. He ransacked practitioners' homes, and arrested and beat practitioners, including Wang Guixian, Liu Meihua and Ning Shuyan. As a result, Ning Shuyan was forced to leave home and has since not returned. On August 2003, while riding his motorcycle, Wang Chunyu had an accident in which he collided with a bicycle. The person on the bicycle was not hurt at all, but Wang Yushun was thrown off the motorcycle into a tree. He died at the scene.

Liu Wenquan, the former Dadong Township Xiangyang Deputy Police Chief, took part in slandering Dafa and Teacher, and arresting and persecuting Dafa practitioners. He played a leading role in persecuting practitioner Liu Mei. He died of liver cancer in February 2004.

Chi Gang, a lawyer who worked at the City Law Firm, slandered Dafa along with the authorities. In February 2004, he suddenly died after drinking.

Niu Chenyi, Donggong City Detention Center Director (former lockup director), frequently slandered Falun Gong, Teacher, and Dafa practitioners. In October 2003, Niu Chenyi was implicated in fraud and is now under house arrest.

Dong Chenyun, Donggong City Lockup Director (former head for Xinxing District Police Department), was very cruel to Dafa practitioners. In 2001, Dong Chenyun played a major role in practitioner Liu Yanjun being illegally sentenced to prison, where . In October 2003, Dong Chenyun was charged with corruption and has been placed under house arrest.

Since May of 2003, the City Police Department, guided by the City Politics and Law Committee, has escalated the persecution. More than a dozen practitioners were arrested and are detained to this day. Since March 2004, at least six more were illegally arrested. Liu Mei was sent to Shenyang City Female Prison and tortured. As a result, she almost died. Donggong City is one of the areas where the persecution is the most severe. As of today, about one hundred Dafa practitioners have been arrested, sentenced and or have served a jail term. Three have died due to the persecution, and one is in a coma. There have been many cases of homes being ransacked, fines, detention, and brainwashing classes. Fines in some cases were as high as 10,000 yuan. (1) Many Dafa practitioners were forced to leave their homes, lost their jobs, withdraw from school or have their families broken apart. Meanwhile, the City Police Department and City Politics and Law Committee have received awards from Jiang's regime.

Here, we sincerely urge the City Politics and Law Committee and police officials to learn something from the examples of karmic retribution, and to be aware of Jiang's situation, where he has been sued all over the world for the crime of the persecution of Falun Gong. We sincerely hope that those officials can learn from the above cases of karmic retribution and release all detained practitioners.
