(Clearwisdom.net) On February 23, 2004, police in Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, conducted a massive search and arrested practitioners, ransacking their homes illegally. Up till now, about 130 practitioners have been abducted. They are detained in the Yuechi Detention Center and Huan City Brainwashing Center of Guang'an Region. Many practitioners have been forced to leave home to escape further persecution.

It was said that as the hundredth birthday of the former Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping is approaching (in August), Jiang and other high-ranking officials would come to Guang'an. During this recent period of time, the persons in Chongqing City and Guang'an City attempted to work together to arrest several Dafa practitioners, but practitioners broke through their attempts with righteous thoughts.
