Never Give Up On Saving People, Even If They Seem to Have Little Hope

(Clearwisdom.net) In China, many barbershops and beauty salons also provide underground access to prostitution and pornography. But I think people in this business are people worth saving also. They chose this occupation because the whole society lost the correct moral standard. In the past several years, I have chosen different barbershops every time I need a haircut. This way I could utilize the time during haircuts to tell the truth and save every sentient being that is worth saving.

One day I went to a barbershop, and the hairdresser was a girl. She asked as soon as I sat down, "Just a haircut?" I said yes. After awhile, she suggested, "Why don't you try a massage after the haircut?" I told her no and starting from this topic I began to tell her the facts about Falun Gong. I told her, "I am a Falun Gong practitioner. Our Master told us to be good people and do good deeds. We should not do anything bad." I also told her there are more than a hundred million people around the world practicing Falun Gong, and that there are tens of thousands in our local area. I told her how Jiang's regime is slandering and persecuting Falun Gong through the government and law enforcement organizations it controls.

Obviously the girl was deceived by the propaganda on TV as she was not willing to take the materials I gave her. I told her before I left, "Everything I told you today is true, you will understand sooner or later." She looked at me, seeming to have something more to say.

The expression on her face touched me. I sensed the kindness in her heart and the hope for me to save her. Though prostitution is immoral and not respected in Chinese society, I should not give up as long as there is any hope.

Back home, I discussed how to help the girl with my wife. My wife needed a haircut at that time so we decided to go back to that same barbershop. We both sent forth righteous thoughts on our way to the shop to eliminate the evil factors. When we went into the shop, she was not busy, but she told my wife she did not know how to cut the style my wife wanted and suggested my wife try another shop. When she saw me, she changed her mind, "Let me try it if you don't mind, I cut my mother's hair in this style before." Another person asked her to help at that moment but she refused, saying, "They are my returning customers, I will help you after this haircut." I realized our Benevolent Master made the arrangement for us to save a sentient being.

My wife explained the facts about Falun Gong to the girl during the haircut, telling her the benefits it brought us. In the meantime, I sat in the sofa sending forth righteous thoughts continuously. This time she changed her attitude completely; our kind hearts opened her heart. She asked lots of questions about Falun Gong and told us sincerely that she will practice Falun Gong in the future. I told her, "Falun Gong will soon be recognized publicly. Someone will come to teach you as long as you want to practice, and it will be free of charge." She nodded her head with gratitude and tears in her eyes.

In the past several years, I have been to dozens of different barbershops, and made lots of people in this business understand the truth about Falun Gong, and completely change their attitude. This is a special group of people. In addition, since there is plenty of time for conversation in a relatively quiet environment during haircuts, the results of clarifying truth are quite good.
