Harbin Industry University Teacher Mr. Wang Dayuan Tortured to Death at the Harbin First Prison

(Clearwisdom.net)

Mr. Wang Dayuan, 30 years old, was a teacher at the Computer Science and Technology Institute of Harbin Industry University. In November of 2002, the police unlawfully arrested him and ransacked his home. He was detained for several months, after which he received an eight-year prison term to be served at Harbin First Prison. He was tortured to death on April 5, 2004. The prison leaders tried to shift responsibility by saying that three criminal inmates beat Mr. Wang to death. We all know that the criminal inmates would not dare to commit such a crime without being ordered to by the police.

The unexpected sad news brought Mr. Wang's family enormous pain. The young wife, young child, and elderly parents can no longer see their most beloved one. Since Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong started, such tragedies continue to happen with increasing frequency. We appeal to those with a sense of justice to bring the law's nobility and human right's back to China. We also appeal to all that the murderers be punished and for an end of the persecution of Falun Gong.
