Mr. Wang Zengcheng from Tianjin City is Beaten to Death in a Labor Camp for Refusing to Betray His Conscience


(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Zengcheng was a 41-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from the Wuqi Team in Yingcheng Township, Hangu District of Tianjin City. In 2003, he was illegally sent to forced labor for 2.5 years. In the beginning of 2004, when his term was close to expiration, he was beaten to death for refusing to write and sign the so-called "Repentance Statement." [Dafa practitioners are forced to admit remorse for practicing Falun Gong, promise to give up Falun Gong, and never again associate with other practitioners or go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong.]

When his family examined Mr. Wang Zengcheng's body, they found that no skin on his body except an area the size of an egg was in normal condition. This was confirmed in the official autopsy report.

Fearing to take responsibility, the labor camp (the name of which is still to be verified) compensated Wang's family with 130,000 Yuan in an attempt to close the case. Due to the high pressure and intimidation from the authorities, the family members no longer intend to sue the criminals.
