(Clearwisdom.net) A Clearwisdom reporter reports in Washington DC: Bo Xilai,
the Chinese Minister of Commerce, who has been sued in Germany for actively
persecuting Falun Gong, is currently accompanying vice premier Wu Yi in the US
to attend the 15th meeting of China-US trade and commerce.
At noon on April 21, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners in Washington DC, "World
Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong," and "Friends of
Falun Gong" jointly held a press conference in front of the Chinese Embassy in
the US, requesting the US to immediately deport human rights scoundrel Bo Xilai.

from the Falun Dafa Information Center on the persecution imposed upon Cheng
Ling and her family at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in Liaoning Province.
Twenty-year-old Cheng Ling is from Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province. She was
illegally sentenced to seven years in prison three years ago for exercising the
right of speech and belief endowed by the constitution and making Falun Gong
truth clarification materials. She was imprisoned in the notorious Mansanjia
Forced Labor Camp. Her parents and her sister were also successively imprisoned
at Masanjia, where they suffered brutal persecution.
According to the first-hand information from Clearwisdom.net, as of April 18,
2004, the verified number of Falun Gong practitioners who have died as a result
of persecution in Liaoning Province was 103, ranking fourth in the country.
During his term as Deputy Secretary of CCPC of Liaoning Province and Governor of
Liaoning Province, Mayor of Dalian City and General Party Secretary of Dalian
City, Bo Xilai spared no effort to follow Jiang Zemin to persecute Falun Gong.
He managed and directed the persecution against Falun Gong in Liaoning Province.
The methods
used were extremely cruel. Bo Xilai is one of the major people responsible
for managing and directing the persecution of Falun Gong in Liaoning Province,
and Jiang Zemin thus promoted him as Governor of Liaoning Province.
Bo Xilai is not welcome in the US
Representative of "World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun
Gong" Mr. Huang Zuwei listed in his statement some investigation results of the
organization. He pointed out that during his term as Mayor of Dalian City (from
1993 to 2001) and Governor of Liaoning Province (from January 2001 to February
2004), Bo Xilai acted as Jiang's political hatchet man, ordering persecuting and
murdering of Falun Gong practitioners. Mr. Huang said illegal use of slave labor
and collection of human body's apparatus have been an open secret in China's
labor camps, Dalian City and Liaoning Province have very vicious labor camps and
prisons. Mr. Huang also revealed that the organization is conducting a thorough
investigation on Bo Xilai.
Representative of the US "Friends of Falun Gong" Mr. Court Pearman said in
his statement, "In accordance with Section 212(a)(2)(G) of the U.S. Immigration
and Nationality Act (INA) and Section 3 of International Religious Freedom Act
of 1998 (IRFA), which provide that foreign government officials who have engaged
in particularly severe violations of religious freedom in the past 24 months,
and their spouses and children, are inadmissible to the United States." He
continued that according to US law, Bo Xilai is on the list of those who should
be denied entry to the US. He is not welcome in the US. "Friends of Falun Gong"
requested to immediately deport him.
"Benefits are temporary, morality and justice are eternal"
On March 9, 2004, "Friends of Falun Gong" and "World Organization to
Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong" delivered a list of 102 human rights
violators who have been most heavily involved in the persecution of Falun Gong
practitioners in China, including Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing, Zhou Yongkang,
Li Lanqing, Wang Maolin and Bo Xilai, and requested the US government to deny
entry of these people to the US.
An attendee said that Bo Xilai is a criminal. He killed people, but comes
here like nothing has happened. This person said, "Benefits are temporary;
morality and justice are eternal."
Dozens of Falun Gong practitioners in Washington DC and local people attended
the rally. They held banners reading, "Immediately deport human rights scoundrel
Bo Xilai," "Bring Jiang to justice globally," "Falun Dafa is great," and banners
in English reading, "China stops the persecution of Falun Gong," "Dismiss 610
Office," and "Bring Bo Xilai to justice."
