Criminal Deeds of Fang Simin, a Cruel Persecutor of Dafa Practitioners in Mengyin County, Shandong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Fang Simin, the vice director of the "610 Office"(1) in Mengyin, Shandong Province, committed grave crimes against Dafa disciples and their relatives in the county. He directed and implemented tortures on the illegally detained Dafa disciples.

Fang, aged over 30, is from Liancheng Town of Mengyin County. He was previously the head of the armed forces department in the town of Duozhuang. By persecuting Dafa disciples, he was promoted to be vice director of the county's "610 Office." To realize the "transformation" of Dafa disciples by torture, he hired at a cheap price some jobless men (aged 18-22 and poorly educated) as his hatchet men in his detention place. He paid them 200 yuan a month and assigned them uniforms and did not let anyone know their names and addresses.

Under Fang's instruction and incitement, these thugs freely beat and swore at the detained Dafa disciples. Sometimes Fang personally participated in the torture. He totally loses control whenever he beats someone. If he saw a detained person practicing Falun Gong, he would rush forward and give the person a hard kick. Then he would have the hatchet men pull the person outside and handcuff him/her to a cement pillar. He would let people stand in the wind or rain continuously, or let them be handcuffed by an outdoor toilet, where the air is foul and the mosquitoes and bugs rampantly sting the practitioner.

Once he slapped a practitioner 50 times continuously, making the practitioner's face swell up. He also ridiculed the practitioner after that. Another time he fractured a female practitioner's bone with a kick, and kicked a male practitioner until he became incontinent. One day, he pulled down a tall practitioner and stepped on his head with his leather shoe. He ordered his hired muscle to club the practitioner's body with reinforcing rods from a construction site and burn his face with a cigarette. He swore at the practitioner and shouted: "Let's see if you can stand up anymore!" They didn't stop till the practitioner passed out. At that time, Fang said: "Don't pretend to be dead! We are not afraid of killing you. Jiang has ordered: 'any one killed is to be declared as committing suicide.' "

Moreover, Fang tried all sorts of tricks to persecute Dafa disciples psychologically. He sent those who failed to withstand the torture to watch propaganda videos such as the fabricated "self immolation on Tiananmen Square" and to listen to recordings by former practitioners who had turned against Dafa under pressure. He forced them to write a report every time after watching and listening to these slandering materials. After he tortured the Dafa practitioners, he would frequently force them to maintain a certain posture for long time. If anyone could not persist, he would immediately give him/her an electrical shock or a beating with a broomstick.

He often persecuted Dafa disciples by depriving them of sleep and force-feeding them. He didn't allow them to sleep until midnight and woke them up at 5 AM. During the 4-hour sleep time, the Dafa disciples were often disturbed by watchmen's whistles, bright lights and being stung by mosquitoes. The wardens frequently rushed into where they slept, making it hard to get to sleep. If any practitioners protested against the bad treatment by going on a hunger strike, Fang would let 4-5 hatchet men force-feed them, and they didn't stop till the practitioner yielded or passed out. Those who refuse to yield were denied the use of the toilet, let alone having a bath.
