Taiwan: Falun Dafa Practitioners Invited to Give Training Sessions for Government Employees (Photos)
By a Dafa Practitioner in Taiwan (Clearwsidom.net) On April 2, 6 and 13, 2004, three specialists in foreign
language, traditional Chinese medicine and economics were invited to give a
training session for employees of the Bureau of Standard Inspection in the
Department of Economy. It was interesting to note that all three experts
prominent in their own fields were Falun Dafa practitioners. In a speech on April 2 regarding the news in English, Mr. Li Deliang from
Tunghai University advised the audience to obtain information from international
media with open-mindness and to seek different points of view. He referred to
the movie "False Fire," which won Honorable Mention at the 51st
Columbus International Film & Video Festival in 2003. New Tang Dynasty TV, a
non-profit privately owned Chinese TV station, produced the movie. "False Fire"
analyzed suspicious portions of the TV broadcast of the staged Tiananmen
self-immolation incident. The analysis showed that the so-called self-immolation
incident was very likely directed by the Jiang regime to frame Falun Gong and to
fabricate excuses for the persecution of Falun Gong. In a workshop on keeping fit with traditional Chinese medicine on April 6,
the hosting organization invited renowned Chinese Medicine Doctor Hu Naiwen, who
has rich clinical experience. Doctor Hu explained why maintaining a high moral
standard is important for a healthy body and mind. He also introduced Dr. Masaru
Emoto's water crystallization experiment, which demonstrated that water
crystallized beautifully after receiving kind messages but crystallized in ugly
patterns after receiving abusive messages. Since the human body is composed of
over 70% water, a benevolent mind is essential to human health. The Hu couple
practice Falun Gong, and Dr. Hu demonstrated the exercises for the attendees. In his speech on April 13, Professor Wu Huilin, from the Taiwan Chinese
Academy of Economics, elaborated his view on merchandise inspection from the
point of view of economics. He mentioned Adam Smith's book, The Wealth of
Nations, in which an economic model for work division was elaborated.
Everyone doing his best in his most favorable and specialized field will yield
maximum benefit to the whole. To reach this level mutual trust is the basis and
is needed for everyone's collaboration and contribution. In every field in our
current society, personnel issues are the biggest problem and lead to large
costs for society. Sincerity is the essence of economics. At the end, Professor
Wu discussed with everyone the principle of "Truthfulness, Compassion,
Tolerance" and its vital importance to human society. |
