Hong Kong: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Peaceful Appeal to Mark the 5th Anniversary of the Historic April 25 Appeal (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net, April 25, 2004) On April 24, Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioners held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Liaison Office to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the historic April 25 appeal, which marked the start of an unprecedented peaceful and rational movement to end the persecution of Falun Gong. During the appeal, Hong Kong practitioners also requested the Chinese authorities to bring Jiang Zemin, the prime criminal of the brutal persecution of Falun Gong, and his accomplices to justice.

The appeal attracted many passersby's attention, practitioners also distributed truth-clarifying fliers about the history of the April 25 Appeal. Ten practitioners read a statement recognizing the courage and non-violent spirit of the April 25 Appeal in front of the Chinese liaison office.
