VOA: Falun Gong Sues Bo Xilai
(Clearwisdom.net) On April 23 2004, the VOA reported that Falun Gong
practitioners sued Chinese Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai, who is visiting the
US, for genocide, murder and crimes against humanity. The report stated that attorneys for Falun Gong had filed a lawsuit in the
United States District Court of the District of Columbia, and that legal papers
had been served to Bo Xilai. It was pointed out that during Bo Xilai's
administration in Liaoning Province, Liaoning authorities brutally persecuted
Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong has filed lawsuits in the US and several
European countries against visiting Chinese officials. The news from Falun Gong
did not mention the amount of money involved in the lawsuits, but stated the
intent of the lawsuits were to establish the basic facts of these crimes through
legal procedures and to lay a foundation for further legal actions. The Chinese
government media has never report such news. The report also stated that the Jiang regime's brutal persecution has brought
strong criticism from the international community.
