Clarify the truth on the Human Rights Plaza in Paris

April 25, 2004 marked the fifth anniversary of the grand peaceful and legal appeal in Beijing by more than 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners. Many practitioners in Paris, including new practitioners who just began practicing a week ago, went to the Human Rights Plaza opposite the Eiffel Tower to clarify the truth.

It was a sunny day and a constant stream of tourists from different countries, including China, passed by. Many of them watched the elegant Falun Gong exercises demonstrated by practitioners and saw the posters that displayed the brutality of the persecution encountered by practitioners in China. A number of people signed the petition letter to support Falun Gong practitioners. Some immediately learned the exercises on the spot.

According to practitioners' introduction, people--especially those from China--are now more and more willing to accept truth-clarifying materials and talk with practitioners to learn more about Falun Gong and the persecution. Some people from China said that although the internet censorship is strict in China, they are still able to find ways to learn the facts about Dafa, including its worldwide spread, practitioners' nonviolent resistance to the persecution and their lawsuits against the perpetrators of the persecution. Poisoned by the Jiang group's lies, some people have some doubts about Falun Gong. Practitioners' kind explanation with wisdom also allowed them to be awakened or think more about the issue.

Clarifying the facts in Paris' Chinatown

On April 24, French Falun Gong practitioners' series of truth-clarifying activities around the 4.25 event entered its second day. In the afternoon, practitioners went to the 13th district of Paris, a compact community where a lot of Chinese people reside. Practitioners used a large quantity of photos to expose the Jiang group's inhuman persecution of Falun Gong. They also used radio broadcasts to introduce the whole story of the 4.25 peaceful and legal appeal by 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners. The activity attracted numerous people to learn the facts about Falun Gong.
