France: Promoting Falun Gong and Clarifying the Facts in Marseille (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) In the busy streets of downtown Marseille, practitioners demonstrated the exercises, and let people know more about the practice of Falun Gong, as well as the brutal persecution in China. They distributed newspapers to the local residents that revealed the facts about the illegal arrests of Falun Gong practitioners in Paris during the Chinese New Year. Many passersby stopped to watch and learn the truth about Falun Gong. Many among them made contact with local practitioners to express their wishes to learn the practice themselves.

In the afternoon, practitioners, invited by Amnesty International in Marseille, joined a peaceful protest in front of the Chinese Consulate.

When night fell, practitioners held a candlelight vigil to mourn those who have been persecuted to death in mainland China. After learning more about these activities, a veteran who has fought in four wars said, "What you do is so remarkable, because your purpose is not for yourselves, but for others."
