In September 2002, Jilin practitioner Fang Siyi (gender unknown) was taken to Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. Fang has been subjected to inhumane persecution for a long time because he/she had refused to give up his/her beliefs. In order to cover up the crimes, the forced labor camp does not allow his/her family members to visit him/her at all.

In early March, Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp allowed Fang Siyi's family members to visit him/her upon his/her firm request. Due to the long term persecution, Fang Siyi's whole body has swelled up, especially his/her feet and face. Fang needs help while walking. Even so, Fang Siyi is being alternately watched over by four people. He/She is allowed to sleep only two hours a day as he/she is being forced to do heavy labor. Because Fang Siyi refused to be so-called transformed, the labor camp had his/her initial term illegally extended by two months. The police guard claimed, "Do not even think of going home without being transformed."

By mid February of 2004, the "610 Office" ["610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] in Fengrun District of Tangshan City started to unlawfully arrest Falun Dafa practitioners. On February 20, 28 and 29, there were six practitioners who were abducted. They were taken to a brainwashing place located at Fengrun District. Their family members are not allowed to visit them.

There are nine practitioners being detained at the brainwashing place. They are: Chen Xiuqing (who has been transferred to Tangshan No.1 Detention Center), Dai Bin, Guo Shurong, Lan Ruixiang, Wang Minghong, Han Yuqin (her husband, Li Shengtang, has been detained at Hehuakeng Forced Labor Camp since November 2002), and three other practitioners whose names are unknown.

On the morning of February 28, Fan Guijie, a resident from Dudaiyingzi Village, was busy with housework at home. Zhang Zongmin, director of the local police substation, Zhang Wenfu, Party Secretary of Qijiadai Township Party Committee along with Jiang Haixiang and some other policemen, unjustly arrested Fan Guijie. He is currently being kept in custody at Pingquan Detention Center.

At around 10:00am on February 28, Mu Baojun, Assistant Director of Pingquan Public Security Bureau, along with Zhang Zongmin and many others, broke into Wang Xicheng's home. They brutally beat up Wang Xicheng who was working at home and then arrested him. Currently, he is being detained at Pingquan Detention Center.

On the morning of March 3, Wang Shulan, a resident of Ershijiazi Village, Shatuozi Township, and another Falun Gong practitioner over sixty year old, were forcibly taken to the Pingquan Detention Center.

After Zhao Jianhua was arrested on March 8, practitioners Zheng Guofu and Zheng Guomin were arrested on March 10. The next day, Zheng Guomin's wife, Luo Fang, was taken also. Zheng Guofu, Zheng Guomin and his wife were volunteers and assistants of Nong'an Falun Dafa Assistance Center. After Falun Gong was outlawed on July 20, 1999, Zheng Guomin was illegally detained in a forced labor camp for a year. Luo Fang had been unlawfully arrested and detained many times. Currently, the married couple is being kept in custody at Nong'an Detention Center. Their 6-year-old daughter has been left alone at home.

On March 8, 2004, heads of the "610 Office", Qi Chenggang in Buyang City, and Zhang Xianglin in Yingquan District, and people from the Forced Labor Section of the Public Security Bureau in the city abducted Ms. Zhang Lili without providing any legal documents. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor and secretly taken to Hefei Female Forced Labor Camp.

Before that, around 11:00pm on January 19, 2004, people from Buyang "610 Office", and the Buyang Public Security Bureau unjustly arrested Zhang Lili and detained her at Buyang Detention Center for nearly 50 days. A few days after she was released, she was subjected to persecution again.

Du Qingjun, a Falun Dafa practitioner living in Songpu Town, Daowai District of Harbin City, was arrested by plainclothes policemen while riding a motorcycle on the road on February 5, 2003.

Mr. Wang Liangai, is a 54 year old Falun Dafa practitioner, and an employee of Iron Plant Labor Service Company of Laiwu Steel & Iron Group Ltd. Corporation. On the evening of February 22, 2004, he was abducted by people from the Yingshan Public Security Bureau and collaborators from his company. His current whereabouts are unknown.

Xiang Maohua, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shuangliu County of Sichuan Province, was unjustly arrested on February 23, 2004.

On the morning of February 30, 2004, Bao Jianguo, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Fuyu County, was taken away by police while clarifying the truth. The Xinhualu Police Substation also searched his home and abducted his wife Fan Xiangjie who later escaped with righteous thoughts. His ailing 70-year-old mother and a son in senior high school have been left alone at home unable to fend for themselves.

In early March, Li Yunbiao, a practitioner from Changshuihe Farm of Bei'an City who had become destitute and homeless in order to avoid illegal detention was reported by the landlord. Later, he was abducted.

On March 12, 2004, Li Shimei told her students after the exercises during a class break, "Teacher Li is the engineer of the human soul. The self-immolation at Tiananmen Square was staged. You should remember the three words, 'Truth, Compassion, Tolerance' and to study hard which is your job." The students applauded loudly. However, the principal Zhang Xiongbin grabbed the microphone and then called the local government and police substation. The National Security Team and local police substation searched her home and arrested her. She hasn't been released.

On the evening of February 25, 2004, both Ms. Jiang Shumei and Mr. Liu Yan from Shenyang City, were arrested at the truth-clarifying material site. Yang Hai and other people from the Politics & Security Team of Tiexi Public Security Branch Bureau are involved in the arrest. Currently, the practitioners have been on the hunger strike for more than twenty days. Since their lives are in great danger, they are being administered emergency treatment at Xinsheng Hospital in Masanjia which is affiliated with the provincial Prison Administrative Bureau.
