(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of March 12, Friday,
Canadian attorneys Mr. David Matas and Lawrence Greenspon represented their
client, Canadian citizen and Professor of Art, Zhang Kunlun to formally file a
criminal lawsuit against Jiang Zemin and those who participated in the
persecution of Falun Gong to the Canadian Justice Minister, Mr. Irwin Cotler. In
the press conference that afternoon, Mr. Zhang and his attorneys publicized the
attorneys' letter to the Justice Minister. Below is a letter from Canadian
Senator A. Raynell Andreychuck to the two attorneys to express her strong
support on the request to Minister Cotler to obtain consent for a private
prosecution of the former Chinese Chairman for torture. March 12, 2004 Mr. David Matas Re: Kunlun Zhang Dear Mr. Matas and Mr. Greenspon: I regret that I cannot attend the press conference due to
previous commitments. I want to strongly support your request to Minister Cotler
to obtain consent for a private prosecution for torture under section 269.1 of
the Criminal Code for Kunlun Zhang. Support for Falun Gong observers to conduct
their practices peacefully should not go unnoticed by Canada for the many
