(Clearwisdom.net) On September 22, 2001 the section chief of the Political and Legal Committee in Donggang City, Liaoning Province visited one of the brainwashing sessions used to brainwash Falun Gong Practitioners. He told the practitioners that two days before the so-called "Tiananmen Self-immolation" incident took place, he had received notice from the Ministry of Public Security that something big was going to happen in Tiananmen Square.

In mid-September 2001, the Police Department, the Political and Legal Committee, and the "610 Office"(1) from Donggang City illegally arrested some Falun Gong practitioners and forced them to attend brainwashing classes. They attempted to force the practitioners to give up their belief in Falun Gong. During the class, one of the practitioners tried many times to tell the section chief of the Political and Legal Committee, Zhao Yunlong the truth of the persecution against Falun Gong. He told Zhao Yunlong that the "Self-Immolation" incident was staged. Zhao did not reply.

On the morning of September 22, this same practitioner once again tried to tell Zhao the truth. He tried to persuade him not to believe Jiang Zemin's false accusations against Falun Gong. At that time, there were three other practitioners in the room. Zhao finally replied, "We knew that the 'Self-Immolation' would happen even before it happened." He proceeded to tell the practitioners a more detailed account. "The 'Self-Immolation' happened on January 23^rd, 2001. Actually, we received urgent notice from the Ministry of Public Security on the 21^st saying that something big was going to happen at Tiananmen Square on the 23^rd." After hearing this, the practitioner said, "See? How did the police know this was going to happen beforehand if they didn't stage it? If it wasn't a staged act, then what is it?" After speaking, Zhao realized too late that he accidentally slipped his tongue.

(1) "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
