(Clearwisdom.net) Kanagawa vault theater is in the area of the
well-known Yokohama Chinese street. On the evening of May 8, 2004, to celebrate
the 12th anniversary of Falun Dafa's public introduction, Falun Gong
practitioners in Japan held the first Japan Falun Dafa Week Concert. Several
hundred local Chinese and Japanese people watched the performance.
The performance included Tang Dynasty costumes,
instrumental music, dancing, song, a piano solo, poetry
recitation, and a Falun Gong exercise demo. The concert
started with grand Tang Dynasty costume dancing, The
Eternal Heaven Gate Opens, and concluded with
chorus of Coming for You, in both Chinese and
Japanese. The splendid performance won warm applauses and
acclamation of the audience. Falun Gong practitioners
conducted all arrangement, rehearse, clothing,
instrumental music and stage design, which won much
praise.
The over two-hour concert concluded in the chorus of
players on stage and the audience singing Falun Dafa is
Great. During the concert, congratulatory letters from
several congress representatives were read. In the
letters, the representatives sincerely congratulated the
concert during Japan Falun Dafa Week and the development
of the Japan Falun Dafa Association.
To prepare for the concert, Falun Gong practitioners in
Japan overcame difficulties and rehearsed attentively to
make the concert successful. After watching the
performance, many practitioners more deeply understood the
importance of cooperation. A reporter said, "You
Falun Gong practitioners work very well together. The Tang
Dynasty Costume Dance is so beautiful."
