(Clearwisdom.net) The annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books held at the University of California at Los Angeles is one of the most remarkable events of Los Angeles. Every year, it attracts over 100,000 visitors from different areas. The surrounding streets are full of cars and people, and so is the beautiful UCLA campus.

Starting from year 2000, Falun Dafa practitioners of Los Angeles taught Falun Dafa free at the event, introducing the beauty of Falun Dafa to people. This year, the event was held over two days on April 24 and 25. From early in the morning, the banners reading "Falun Dafa" and "The World needs Truthfulness Compassion Tolerance" hung high on campus and greeted to the visitors entering the Festival of Books. It was also the fifth anniversary of the grand and peaceful "4-25 Appeal", so the practitioners not only demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises but also clarified the truth to the visitors, helping them to learn the facts about the "4-25 Appeal" and facts regarding the brutal persecution against Falun Gong in China.

Falun Dafa practitioners also used this chance to ask kind people to help rescue the illegally detained American doctor Charles Lee. A practitioner played Dafa music "Pudu" on an Erhu, a Chinese traditional musical instrument. Many visitors stopped to quietly listen to the music
