San Francisco: Falun Gong Practitioners Celebrate the Twelfth Anniversary of Falun Dafa's Introduction (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) In order to celebrate the 12^th anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction to the public, on the morning of May 16, 2004, nearly 200 Falun Gong practitioners in Northern California held a group exercise in Washington Park near San Francisco's Chinatown, and later the practitioners held a celebration parade and performance.

The parade procession set out from Washington Park, led by waist drums players, following by a float, Tang Dynasty Costumes Dance group, banner group, and streamers group. The procession marched along the main streets in Chinatown. The sidewalk was crowded with people who were sightseeing and shopping. Many people videotaped and followed the procession all the way.

When the parade procession reached Chinatown's Garden Corner Square, the practitioners performed the exercises, dancing and a chorus. The drum performance attracted people from all directions to the stage. The peaceful exercises, beautiful dancing and singing were warmly welcomed by the spectators. Many people happily accepted truth clarification flyers and asked for information about practice sites.
