(Clearwisdom.net) A second year foreign language high school student from the U.S. attends a school in Chengdu, China. After spending his last summer vacation in the U.S., when he returned to China he took an English-language newspaper with him that featured the truth of the Tiananmen "self-immolation event". The article pointed out that the event was staged by the Chinese government in an attempt to defame Falun Gong. All his classmates were eager to read this. They even formed small groups to discuss the issue. At the end everyone believed the truth, that the "Self-immolation" was faked and that Falun Dafa is good! All of them shared the conclusion with their families and friends.
A policeman clarifies the truth all night long
Once my sister attended a party held by her friends. When she stepped in she immediately saw two police officers and recognized one of them. She had met him previously. My sister thought, "The last time I clarified the truth to him he did not listen. This time I must help him understand the truth." But before she could say anything she heard the officer say, "On the 31st when I was eating dinner, there was a Falun Gong DVD stuck to our door. When my nephew brought it in, not one of the more than ten people in the family dared to watch it. Finally I said, "Let's watch this DVD and see what it is about." After we watched it, it became clear to me that what the CCTV said about Falun Gong murdering people and the self-immolation incident are all lies! Falun Gong was able to analyze the process of the immolation and showed proof [that it was staged]. We have all been lied to by the Party officials." This police officer clarified the truth all night long. My sister was never able to get a word in edgewise, yet she felt very content because another life had been shown the way out of peril.
"I might as well add another sentence: Teacher is great."
During last year's SARS epidemic I met a friend with diabetes. She said she understood that Falun Dafa is good. I told her to repeat, "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good." It benefited both her and her family.
When I met her six months later, her first words were, "You taught me to said Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good. It really worked! I became more energetic and am able to walk around. I've added a few words, too: "Teacher is great!" Sometimes when I am in pain, it stops as soon as I say these words. It is unbelievable! I also tell my friends and family that Falun Dafa is good, that the bad things about Falun Gong on TV in China are all lies made by Jiang Zemin to defame and frame Falun Gong. Everyone in my family now knows that Dafa is good, and after my friends heard of the benefits I received, they often repeat the phrase, too."
(Clearwisdom.net) I am a retired cadre from mainland China. I have many colleagues who practice Falun Gong. Since the persecution of Falun Gong began, they have clarified the truth to me, but I could not understand when I first heard it, and I didn't believe them.
One day in March of 2004, I went to visit a friend and I met a Falun Gong practitioner in jail. While in detention, he still said "Falun Dafa is good!" He also exposed the brutal persecution to him in the jail. The prison guards disavowed the persecution at once. Somebody told me that he was Mr. Li Zhigang, a master's student from the Changsha National Defense Science University. He was never given enough food to eat, was forced to do hard physical work all day, and was detained in a small room at night without a bed. He had to sleep on the concrete ground. If it was too cold for him to get to sleep, he had to jump around in the room to keep himself warm...
I was shocked that he was so firm in his belief in Dafa even under the cruel persecution. It was absolutely not the same as what is broadcast on TV. Then what's the true story' I borrowed a copy of Zhuan Falun and finished it without stopping. I considered it a really good book! No wonder there are such good disciples. But Jiang's regime used the entire country's resources to arrest Dafa practitioners and burn Dafa books in this crazy persecution of Falun Gong, using rumor-mongering to fool the people. It would not be allowed if the country were ruled by law and justice!
I have completely understood the true situation of Falun Gong after having read a great deal about it. Now I also want to clarify the truth to the people.
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Yu Fenghua was was a music teacher at the Mohan Elementary School of Fengcheng City. She was 57 years old and practiced Falun Gong. She lived in the Aimin Residential Area, Fengcheng City, Liaoning Province.
After Yu Fenghua began to cultivate Falun Gong in 1997, she became very healthy and looked much younger than her age. A 50-year-old lady looked as if she was only in her early 40s. In 1999, Jiang's regime started the persecution of Falun Gong. Since then she had been persisting in cultivating Falun Gong and clarifying the truth and exposing the evil.
One night around 7:00 p.m. in October 2000, several policemen from Dengtiemeilu Police Station suddenly broke into Yu Fenghua's home. They ransacked her home and attempted to arrest her. She was on her way home from work and learned the news from somebody that the police were after her, so she decided to go to Dalian City to avoid the persecution that would face her at home.
One night in January 2001, Yu Fenghua was hanging a banner reading "Falun Dafa is Good" in the downtown area of Dalian. She was abducted by police who had been following her. While in detention, she refused to give up her belief in Falun Gong and firmly resisted the persecution. She also went on a hunger strike to protest. Soon she was sentenced to 8 years in prison. Several months later she was transferred to Dabei Prison in Shenyang City, where she was further persecuted. In the nearly three years of persecution, she never wavered. None of the evil's tactics could move her determination in Dafa.
On May 5, 2004, Dabei Prison informed her family to pick her up. She was on the verge of death. When her family arrived, she was carried in on a stretcher. After returning home, she passed away at around 6:00 p.m. on the night of May 10.
The details of Yu Fenghua's death are to be investigated.
(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Ms. Tang Yun was born on March 22, 1970 and had lived at Apt 2, Floor 7, Unit 3 in the Jinianbei Complex, Zitong Town, Tongnan County, Chongqing. She had worked at Zitong Town Department Store. On December 4, 1999, Tang Yun went to Beijing to appeal for and validate Falun Dafa with her own experiences. Her son was only two years old at the time.
Tang Yun was arrested and tortured to death on her police-escorted trip back from Beijing.
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Zhou Yong, around 20 years old, was from Dazhai Village, Xiaohe County in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2000 but was illegally arrested and sent to Tianjin City where he suffered severe persecution. He was later sent to Hebei Province where he was tortured to the brink of death. After he was released and sent back to his hometown in Guizhou Province, his family members sent him to the Xiaohe Liberation Army No. 44 Hospital for treatment, but he died in the hospital. Mr. Zhou died in 2001, but only now has the news of his death escaped from China.
(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhong is illegally detained at the Daqing Prison in Heilongjiang Province. Because he refused to write a "Guarantee Statement" (1) denouncing Falun Dafa, and persisted in doing the Falun Gong exercises, he was tortured to the brink of death by Daqing Prison policeman Li Fajie at the No. 3 Ward of this prison. The prison authorities are currently ignoring the fact that his life is in danger.
Around 9:00 a.m. on January 15, 2004, when Mr. Zhang Zhong was doing the Falun Gong exercises in his cell, the deputy chief for the No. 3 Ward, Li Fangjie, called him to the guards' room and scolded him. Mr. Zhang Zhong told them that Falun Dafa is a righteous way, and that there is nothing wrong with practicing Falun Gong, and it should not be prohibited. Li Fangjie, along with policemen Yu Qingjiang and Liang Shuyi, together beat him about the head and caused him to fall unconscious onto the floor. They then used needles to prick Zhang Zhong's head and hands, but got no response. They kicked his back and then had two inmates carry him away. After many police officers came in, Li Fangjie lied to them by saying, "He was doing the exercises. As soon as I started scolding him, he laid down on the floor and acted shamelessly." After Mr. Zhang Zhong was transferred to the No. 6 Ward, he spit up blood and vomited everything he had eaten.
On February 26, 2004, Mr. Zhang Zhong was sent to the prison hospital, which is not at all adequate for treating patients. The doctor used an obsolete ultrasound machine and diagnosed him with cholecystitis. He's still at the prison hospital right now, but is closely watched by inmates, and is not allowed to talk. He is unable to walk, as his leg muscles are not functioning. He still vomits whatever he eats. His life is in danger.
Daqing Prison enforcers have used violent methods to mistreat Falun Dafa practitioners for a long period of time, but for the practitioners illegally imprisoned there, no matter how high the pressure is and how brutal the persecution is, their rock-solid faith in Dafa will never change!
(1) "Guarantee Statement" - A statement to declare that one is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners.
I'm a Falun Gong practitioner from Shenyang City. On July 26, 2000, I went to Beijing for the second time to appeal to the government. I wanted to go to the appeals office to tell them about my own firsthand experiences and to show them how Falun Gong is a righteous practice.
On July 29 around 9:00 am, I went with three people to No. 1 Yongdingmen in Beijing. Parked on the side of the wide road were over a dozen police cars, and dozens of plainclothes police stood (they had been there for some time already) at the entrance to the adjoining alley waiting to arrest Falun Gong practitioners. When we entered the alley, two plainclothes police intercepted us from behind and began asking us things like where we were going, whether we practiced Falun Gong, and which province we were from. Because we normally have a habit of speaking the truth, we told them the truth. But exactly for that reason, before we had even seen the main entrance of the appeals office we were shoved into a police car and hauled away to the Liaoning Province reception station in Beijing. Inside there were several other Falun Gong practitioners who had just been arrested. Among them were two students from Liaoning Province College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
On July 30, Shenyang City police claimed to have sent us home. On the way, they asked for our addresses, saying that they would take us home based on the distance to our homes. However, the police van took us directly to the gate of the police station. We were later sent to Longshan Labor Camp.
Two team heads, Tang Li and Da Mu (who was transferred from the Zhangshi Labor Camp in Shenyang City) threatened to shock us with electric batons in attempts to force us to write guarantee statements [to renounce Falun Gong]. In the afternoon, the two team heads ordered a 14-year-old girl Han Tianzi, two students, one male and one female from Liaoning Province College of Traditional Chinese Medicine to their office. They used electric batons to force them to write the guarantee statements. The young woman's painful screams seized everyone's hearts. The torture lasted for a whole afternoon. When she was returned to the cell, she wore pants and a short sleeve vest. Her exposed skin was covered with bruises from the torture. There was not one area of uninjured skin. Fourteen-year-old Tianzi was unable to move her arms, but the camp head Bai and two persecutors continued beating her with electric batons.
During the night, Team head Tang called out more than a dozen practitioners to the corridor and forced them to do body-folding. [Body-folding refers to standing with the legs straight and close together, and bending the head down as far as it will go toward the feet, in front of the knees. The fingers point to the ground, the head is upside down.] The practitioners were not allowed to enter the cell to sleep until 3 am. We held a hunger strike to support our demand to meet the director. The persecutors then used shoes to beat us, and dragged some of us to be force-fed.
Among over a hundred Dafa practitioners who were held in the Longshan Labor Camp, more than half of us joined the hunger strike. The camp authorities thought I was the leader and transferred me to a vacant house at the foot of a hill. The house had been vacant for quite a long time as the inside was dark and humid, and the damp straw mattress was covered with dust. I slept on the mattress for two nights, and all my clothes were wet. The deputy head of the camp talked to me, and I insisted on meeting the director of the judicial bureau Zhang Xiansheng. He came to our No. 2 cell later. I said to him with a peaceful mind, "Mr. Zhang, in order to meet you today, more than 60 of us had to hold six-day hunger strike." The director saw that many of us could not stand up, and several elderly practitioners were sent to the hospital. We expressed that if they did not stop using electric batons on us, we would not begin eating. The director saw that we were determined, and had to accept our request.
Probably on August 11, the police from No. 1 Section of Shenyang City Police Department declared that Yang Yasen was sentenced to forced labor and would serve his term at Masanjia Labor Camp. Yang Yasen refused to sign the verdict, but he was still taken away. A couple days later, we heard from the police guards that ten more practitioners would be sent to forced labor camps. We began the second hunger strike.
The camp authorities called in a person who did not have the skill to force-feed us. Miserable cries were constantly coming out from the room where practitioners were force-fed. They randomly inserted tubes into our esophagus, causing some practitioners' noses or stomach to bleed. After 10:00 pm, dozens of policemen rushed into our cell and surrounded us. They dragged us, even though we were bare-footed, to a big van downstairs and drove us to Dabei Prison to force-feed us.
When we came back, some practitioners were sent back to the Longshan Labor Camp. A dozen more practitioners were sent to "Female Self-Improving School." We entered the school barefoot, after midnight. We continued our hunger strike. On the tenth day, the school authorities and police officers sent us to Dabei Prison to continue force-feeding us. Six to seven policemen force-fed me. On the 13th day of our hunger strike, the principal of the school called in a doctor from Dabei Prison to force-feed us.
The doctor was insidious and cruel. He mixed corn porridge with a lot of salt and force-fed me. They then kept the tube inside me after the force-feeding, with one end in my esophagus, and the other end stuck through my nose. I was unable to cough phlegm and had difficulty breathing. The doctor said it would be quite convenient for the next day's force-feeding. They sent us to the Masanjia Labor Camp without waiting for our health to recover.
On the afternoon of September 25, 2000, I was sent to No.1 Cell, Team Four of Division One at the Masanjia Labor Camp. The room is small, but more than 30 people were in the room. Two people shared one bed, and we worked half the day and "studied" for the other half of the day. The labor camp often played videos to brainwash us. When I just entered the room, collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] started to tell me their enlightening along an evil path. When I went to the toilet, I saw several collaborators in a circle beating a Falun Dafa practitioner. They forced her to half squat, with arms stretching forward in a line. One week, several Falun Dafa practitioners, Zou Guirong, Su Juzhen, and Yin Liping, were beaten in the toilet. When I went to the toilet at midnight, I heard the collaborators saying, "If you are not reformed, you can not go back to sleep. Several days from now, we will shock you using electric batons and see how long you can endure it." When I lied on the bed, I often heard the sound of beating and abuse coming from the toilet. It was terrifying. Before, little did I know that Masanjia is such an evil place.
Every day, the collaborators used many different means to torture us both mentally and physically, and one means changed to another in a short time. Every day, there were abuses happening. Every morning when I woke up, I would have the thought of how to endure the day. With the support and instigation by the team head, the torturers were unscrupulous and did whatever they wanted to do, using soft and hard means to torture us.
Team Head Zhang Xiurong instigated collaborators Yu Xiaoli, Wei Hongwei and others to take me to the toilet, where they forced me to do half-squatting and forced me to craw back and forth with my hands on the ground and my legs pushing straight. One night, they took me to the toilet and forced me to sit in lotus position. They then tied my legs tightly and asked a collaborator named Chen Xiaoyu to slap on my face countless times. They also pulled my hair and slammed my head against the wall violently. They used such force that even the tiles on the wall behind my head cracked. Zhang said, "I shall make you feel so miserable that you would rather die than being alive, and yet you could not die."
One night in mid November 2001, at just past 11:00pm, I was surrounded by six collaborators, including Yu Xiaoli, Sun Lina, Yang Lin, Li Xuehuan, Yue Shuaiying and Zhu Yafen. They asked me to stand Mabu (a half squatting position), I refused. Yu Xiaoli became utterly discomfited and she took off her snickers and hit my face. She hit me so hard that I began to see sparkles in front of eyes. When she got tired, another one took over to continue to hit me. Some of them also slammed my head against the wall. Yang Lin violently kicked vital parts of my body. The beating did not stop until the next morning. My face was covered with blue and black bruises and my head swelled up.
One day, Yang Lin said to me, "The team leader said we did not know how to beat you. She told us not to hit your head, but your body so that no one could see the injuries." When there was no one in the toilet, they took me there again. Yu Xiaoli (from Dalian), Sun Lina (from Dalian), Yang Lin (from Fushun) and three others took off my padded trousers. They held my legs and pinched and twisted the flesh inside my thighs until I was bleeding. Sun Lina said obscenities while pinching my thighs. The abuse went on for the whole afternoon. The next day, I saw that all the wounds from their pinching were festering, covering an area of 3 or 4 inches wide, and my sweatpants and trousers were soaked with blood and puss. I asked Yang Lin to take a look at the wounds and asked for an old towel. I tore the small towel into two pieces and put them on the wounds. The towel was very rough and when I put them on the raw wounds, I experienced excruciating pain. The next day, Yu Xiaoli and the others came again to take off my trousers in an attempt to pinch my thighs again.
One day, around 8:00 am in the morning, team head Chang Xiurong gathered the most cruel beaters like Yu Xiaoli , Sun Lina , Yang Lin and Li Xuehuan in the duty room, and had them with a collaborator to force me to write a repentance. I refused to write, so they beat me together. Yang Lin had known that I had pus on my legs, and so she intentionally kicked the inflammed area with her shoe tips. When they were tired, they forced me to stand with my knees bent. Then they beat me again till they thought they failed to bend my will at the end of that afternoon. The day after, I saw the pus areas become dented from the kicking and were 1cm deeper than my normal skin. These areas bled with pus coming out, and had a disgusting smell. The wounds on my legs did not heal within 10 months and were painful and itchy. My legs were swollen and stiffened like two wooden sticks and had bruises everywhere. My lower lip was swollen with a deep cut and bled. My right hand, because I tried to protect my legs from Yang Lin's kicking , was also swollen severely. Owing to the pain, I did not dare to bend my hands' back. I could not use my fingers well. (I still have difficulty using chopsticks to pick up vegetables easily.) They wouldn't let go of me. They beat me day after day, and night after night. They also forced me to stand with my knees arched, do body-folding, and squatting. I remembered that collaborator Wei Hongwei pressed her body on me, her arm around my neck and preached evil things to me during one whole morning. He lied and told me that my daughter was hanging on the tree outside, and they could release my daughter if I wrote a repentance. During that whole afternoon, those persecutors, like Yu Xiaoli , pulled my hair and slammed my head to hit walls. Many areas of my head were swollen and some bled. My ears, due to their pinching, were also severe injured. They kept slamming my head against walls till I was so disoriented that I could not tell where I was. They ARE merciless monsters.
One day as I was squatting on the floor, Sun Lina suddenly grabbed a plastic stool and hit on my head so hard that she broke the stool. Sometimes when I was forced to squat, she would sit and clamp over my neck for a very long period of time that my neck ached for days and could not turn my neck. They tortured me so violently but covered up the truth. Even my roommates did not know I was being beaten and tortured. What I told were only examples of several incidents and I cannot even name them all. Being beaten, kicked and slapped on the face were common occurrence to me. Especially, the festering wound usually stuck to my pants and caused me extreme pain as they peeled off my skin when I was trying to stand up after long time squatting. They constantly assigned two collaborators to watch me and put me under extra surveillance because I was wearing blue-badge, a "special object" needs extra care. The two collaborators reported everything of me to the team head. I suffered extremely both physically and mentally. They tortured and harassed me in the toilet for over 15 days without letting me sleep , wash my face, brush my teeth, change clothes and sometimes did not allow me to even urinate. As I recalled, on one of the nights in December, Yu Xiaoli just came back from a meeting and told me, "We have three options for you." But I chose the third one of "unyielding." She then reported me to the administration, and I was allowed to live in the room again. I could have normal meals again but had to sit facing the wall every day. I had nothing left, no daily necessities, even no toilet papers. Since then, I could only wash and clean up without any shampoo or soaps, use worn towels as substitute for toilet papers while my period came. I suffered so much in just a short period of seven months. I really can't imagine how much sever torture those practitioners who entered here before me would undergo'
One collaborator said to me a number of times, "We couldn't have beaten you if the team leader hadn't given us the orders." It is obvious that the police at the Masanjia Labor Camp instigate the criminals to beat up Dafa practitioners, and the more vicious one is in beating us, the better they say he/she performs, and the more he/she gets praised and the earlier they get to released and go home. Those that beat people most savagely were released in January 2001 at the so-called "live-up-to-one's-promise" assembly.
At a meeting before the new year, collaborator Wang Chunying even openly provided false evidence in front reporters from the CCTV, Liaoning TV station and leaders of Liaoning provincial government by saying that there was no such a thing as beating people at the Masanjia Labor Camp. When Dafa practitioner Zou Guirong, who had been severely beaten by Wang earlier, stood up and said, "What you said is not true," she was immediately pushed to the ground and suffered more severe beatings later.
When I saw on TV, Su Jing, head of the female section at the Masanjia Labor Camp lying to journalists when being interviewed, "We use our genuine loving kindness...." I felt totally disgusted that she could make up such lies in the face of those bloody facts at the Masanjia Labor Camp. They are police officers and law enforcers, and yet they violate the law and train batch after batch of torturers. What is more ridiculous is that such a wicked person has been honoured as a national model worker, and those cruel and evil collaborators have become "well reformed" people, whereas the kind hearted Dafa practitioners who follow the principles of "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance" and who do not swear back when sworn at and who do not hit back when being hit have become the targets of their so-called reform.
On April 19, 2001, 10 determined Dafa practitioners were taken to the Zhangshi Labour Camp in Shenyang City by coach, where each of them was sent to a room and was put under tight supervision of one female collaborator (from the Longshan Labor Camp) and four male collaborators, who would follow them everywhere, even to the toilet. The collaborators would not allow the Dafa practitioners to sleep and forced them to squat until midnight every day. Even when we were allowed to sleep, the male collaborators still would not leave us alone. They slept in the same room, keeping an eye on every movement we made.
When I was at the Zhangshi Labor Camp, I heard that many Falun Gong practitioners had been sent to "newcomers" division before they were sent to the Zhangshi Labor Camp. When they arrived at the "newcomers" division, all their daily necessities such as toothbrush and toilet paper were confiscated. At meals time, they were divided into three groups; the first group would use clean chopsticks, the second group had to use the used chopsticks by the first group, and the third the group had to use the unwashed chopsticks that had been used by the previous two groups. We were not allowed much sleep at night (sometimes we were only allowed two hours sleep in the small hours). During the day we were forced to do handwork and would be shocked with electric batons or sworn at or beaten if we were not careful (e.g. if we did not sit straight, or if we closed our eyes or yawned). Dafa practitioners were not allowed to shave or have a hair cut, no matter how long they have been detained there, and some practitioners' beard and hair grew really long.
They now subject Dafa practitioners to such physical punishment at the Zhangshi Reform Center as sleep deprivation day and night, standing against the wall in the corridor. If one protests, one would be sent to the team leader for further punishment. Chen Xiu from Shenyang was "reformed" this way. She was once deprived of sleep for eighteen days and was put under high-pressure brainwashing.
On May10, we were than sent to the Shenxin Labor Camp. Upon arrival, we saw three practitioners Zou Guirong, Yin Liping and Yin Dongmei, who were sent here earlier for staging hunger strikes. Their terms have expired but none of them was released. Officials of the Masanjia Labor Camp went to the Shenxin Labor Camp, to declare to the three practitioners of the decision to prolong their terms. Then the practitioners staged the hunger strike again to protest. As a result, they were sent to Liaoning Province Underground Monitored Hospital. One day, Director Zhang of Shenyang City's Judicial Bureau came to the Shenxin Labor Camp to inspect. He said to me, "You should obey the rules of the camp; otherwise we'll shock you with electric batons. The electric batons are made for shocking people." In June, the labor camp demanded me to live upstairs with Wang Li. They brought four collaborators from the Zhangshi Labor Camp, and eight collaborators from downstairs, to persecute Wang Li and me. They did not allow me to talk with Wang Li, did not allow me to contact any practitioner downstairs, and even did not allow us to go downstairs for meals, and held us in the block-out brainwashing class. We didn't yield, so the class only lasted over 20 days.
After getting back to the downstairs, another two practitioners' terms were prolonged after the expiry date, including Wang Li and Wang Keyi. We wrote a co-signed letter to the leaders of the provincial government, stating that our terms should not be prolonged unlimitedly. However, no one concerned about our letter, so I started the hunger strike. Yin Dongmei and Wang Li did so too. The team head Guo Yong ordered the common prisoners to drag us to be force fed and injected. On the ninth day, Wang Li and Yin Dongmei were locked up in the small cell [The detainee is locked up in a very small cell individually. The guards handcuff practitioners on their back in a fixed position, in which the practitioners can neither move nor lie down. The small cell is very damp and no sunshine comes in. Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in a small cell during the daytime. During the night the rats are running around. The stench in the small cell is so bad that it is difficult to breathe]. During the night, as there were too many mosquitoes and insects, their skins were stung with many swellings. On the 12th day, the labor camp head brought in the Chief Procurator and the section chief of Shenyang City Procurator's Office. One of them pressured me to talk. I explained to them the reason of my hunger strike, and the details of persecution that I suffered in the Masanjia Labor Camp. They regarded that it was normal for the police of the Masanjia to beat me, that they ought to beat me, and that this should not be a concern. They said if I die of hunger strike, the case would be treated as a normal death. I did not violate the law, it was the police of the Masanjia Labor Camp who were knowingly violating the law, it was them who are trampling the law. Through the conversation with them, my determination of hunger strike was more firm.
On the third day I was sent to Liaoning Province Underground Monitored Hospital. The underground monitored hospital is actually an old air-raid shelter which is dark and damp and is shut off from sunlight all day long. In this hospital, one was allowed to use the toilet only twice a day, each time for only 15 minutes. During this period of time one had to finish washing one's face and body, in addition to emptying one's bowels and bladder.
After I sent there, I found there were over a dozen prisoners there, including Zou Guirong, Yin Liping, Zhou Yanbo and Wang Jie. They were all reduced to skin and bones. The living condition there was very poor. I had difficulty breathing as there was not enough air. I found that the practitioners imprisoned there could not take care of themselves due to the severe abuse. They were unable to move themselves to go to the toilet, and needed someone to help them. So I decided to take food to them. (All of them were on hunger strikes after Zou Guirong was ruthlessly beaten by the police in the Shenxin Labor Camp during the interrogation at the underground monitored hospital.)
I witnessed that when they force-fed Zou Guirong and others, the police called in several male prisoners to violently perform the force-feeding. They forcibly cuffed and shackled Zou Guirong and Yin Liping. The police guards also instigated the male prisoners to beat us. They harshly inserted the tube into Zou Guriong over 30 times during the forced feeding to torture her. As a result, Zou spat out blood every day afterwards. Zou cried out with her hand pressing against her esophagus. When Zou was in the Masanjia Labor Camp, she had been forced to stand in the half squatting position for 5 days and 5 nights continuously, and she endured it without a drop of tear. But today she cried so terribly.
Seeing this, I decided to start a hunger strike. To prevent me from going on hunger strike, the persecutors told the police at the Shenxin Labor Camp to take me back. After going back to the Shenxin Labor Camp, I started a hunger strike again. Division Head Song ordered four male prisoners to carry me to the force-feeding area. Since I had spat out blood that morning, Song got the report and confirmed it, before ordering them to stop the force-feeding torture. However, I was forced to have intravenous drip. Afterwards I spat out blood three days in a row, and the doctor said I only had a few days to live. Fearing that I would die in the labor camp and to shirk responsibility, the labor camp called my family to take me home.
I wrote down my experience after I got home. I want to let people know the truth. I only went to appeal in Beijing to tell them the truth, but I was held for over a year with no chance to say even one word. I've been held in 6 different labor camps. I have suffered so much torture, both physically and spiritually, and stood the pain of having my family broken apart.
Nowadays, personnel from the police station and the community office go to practitioners' homes every now and then, to ask them to fill out forms or write guarantees, and to arrest people. They broke up so many practitioners' families. If they didn't arrest us, would we have lost our jobs and families' Many of us were doing nothing at home, even sleeping when we were arrested and dragged off to be sentenced to forced labor. Why do they treat us like this' Police often send wounded or even severely wounded practitioners to police hospitals. What crime did they commit' Our practitioners were arrested and beaten up or even sent to forced labor, only because they exposed the lies. Who's against the law'
Dear kind hearted people. Do you know that today I wrote this all down to tell you my experience of being persecuted' I'm taking the risk of being arrested and beaten up and sentenced again. I could even lose my life! But I believe that if I don't speak out about my experience as it was, I would be committing a crime against justice and conscience, and would be conniving with the evil. Dear kind-hearted people, if you could read what I have written here with my life and blood, you would have a right idea about Falun Dafa, and it would bring you a bright future!
(Clearwisdom.net) On April 19th 2004, in the residential area of Qiaokou District, Wuhan, Hubei Province, several elderly people were crying, holding a portrait in their hands. They told the passersby who gathered around to see what was happening, "She was beaten to death by the policemen at Qiaokou because she is a practitioner of Falun Gong." One of them, the mother of the deceased woman, looked up at the sky, crying, "I ask Heaven and Earth, how did my daughter die'"
The late Ms. Huang Zhao was 32 years old. She was arrested by members of the Qiaokou District "610 Office" (1) on April 1. At 3:00 a.m. on April 16, a relative of hers was informed by the Qiaokou District "610 Office" that their daughter had died at a hospital in Wuhan City.
The policeman said that the cause of death was that their daughter had killed herself with a glass bottle. Her family members doubted that, and asked why they were not informed when their daughter was in the emergency room. Further, they asked why they were informed only after their daughter had died, what crime their daughter had committed, and why there are no medical records from the hospital. Besides the claim that Ms. Huang had died by "killing herself with a glass bottle," there were many contradictions among the other information gathered from the police. Since the Qiaokou police were afraid of leaving a bad impression on the public, they removed the traditional memorial wreath made by the local practitioners, and denied the report that "Huang Zhao was beaten to death by the policemen."
The elderly parents don't believe the claim that their daughter killed herself because they knew her character so well. Ms. Huang Zhao had grown up from a cute young girl into an honest, frank, and kind woman. However, after Jiang's group started the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners, their daughter was unable to lead a regular life. Every time their daughter was arrested, they tried to find where she was detained. They know in their hearts that there was nothing wrong with their daughter, in that she was trying her best to be a good person. In the week before Ms. Huang Zhao was arrested, she went back home and saw her parents. She left 100 Yuan (2) with them and asked her mother to give the money to a practitioner who was in a bad economic situation. She also informed her parents of when she would next meet with them. Her folks never thought that it would be the last time that they would see their daughter.
Without any proof, the ill-intentioned people of the Qiaokou District "610 Office" forced Ms. Huang's parents to admit that their daughter "killed herself in fear of the punishment for her crime!"
Facing the powerful government and no place to get justice for their daughter, Ms. Huang Zhao's parents went to the streets, holding the portrait of their deceased loved one. The old mother looked up to the sky, crying, "I ask Heaven and Earth, how did my daughter die'"

(Clearwisom.net) After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, the Forest Department of Huanan County's "610 Office," (1) led by Song Dianlin illegally arrested and detained Guo Ren'ai and 30 other practitioners at the Huanan Forest Department.
They held each practitioner for a 10,000 Yuan (2) ransom from their families. As a typical urban worker in China makes only about 500 Yuan each month, this was a tremendous financial burden which put the family members in debt. Guo Ren'ai was unable to come up with the money, so the "610 Office" sent police to her house to extort money every day.
Her husband had been laid-off, and was farming in the mountains to get by. During the planting season, the police forced him to leave the mountain and prevented him from tending to the fields. Because of this persecution, he divorced Guo Ren'ai. She couldn't take care of her child. The walls in her house, as well as many pots, air conditioners, the bathtub, etc. were all cracked and damaged due to severe cold. The molding was falling out everywhere, and the roof had many leaks.
At the end of 2000, Huanan County first party committee secretary Liu Shujuan was assigned to bring Guo Ren'ai back from Beijing, where she was arrested while appealing for Falun Dafa. Liu Shujuan took advantage of the opportunity to buy clothes and an electric blanket, visit the doctor and buy medicine, stay in expensive hotels, etc., then claim 20,000 Yuan in expenses on Guo Ren'ai's employee insurance policy. When Liu Shujuan was questioned, she claimed that because Guo Ren'ai went to Beijing, the department had to pay 20,000 Yuan. When Guo Ren'ai's son found evidence of Liu Shujuan's actions, she settled for 12,000 Yuan instead. Liu Shujuan also took two years off Guo Ren'ai's salary for the time she wasn't home.
In early April 2001, Guo Ren'ai was giving out materials clarifying the truth of Falun Gong in Beijing. The police arrested her, and she refused to give her address or name. They beat her to the brink of death, and detained her for four months. Guo Ren'ai went on a hunger strike and was released. She went back to Huanan County to see her father, but her mother had passed away after the shock of Guo Ren'ai 's arrest by the "610 Office." Guo Ren'ai was taking care of her mother when policeman Zou Feng came to harass her. While Guo Ren'ai was visiting her father, Zou Feng and two other policemen arrived before they could even finish a meal together. They sent Guo Ren'ai to the detention center. Zou Feng was rewarded 1,000 Yuan for the arrest.
In the detention center, Guo Ren'ai practiced the Falun Gong exercises, so officer Liu Qitao kicked her legs until they were bruised all over. He cuffed her hands behind her back, causing her hands to swell. Two police officers with the last names of Min and He cuffed her hands behind her back for 37 days, during which time she could only sit, not even lie down to sleep at night. Guo Ren'ai demanded to see their supervisors. Director Han saw the wounds and said, "Beating a practitioner to death is nothing!"
After 18 days in detention, the police sentenced her to one and a half years in a forced labor camp. Guo Ren'ai appealed, but got no response for a few months. Later, Huanan County used their connections to send her to the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp. Wanjia refused Guo Ren'ai because of her poor condition, and she was sent back. They sent her to Jiamusi Labor Camp next, and they refused her as well.
Guo Ren'ai went on a hunger strike, and was sent to the Forest Department Hospital. Instructor Wei Jingguo from the detention center personally cuffed her hands and legs, and the cuffs cut into her flesh. They used six ropes to tie her to a wooden board. Guo Ren'ai tried to reason with him, but he taped her mouth shut with three layers of tape. They tied her to a bed, and forced injections of saline solution and drugs, and tortured Guo Ren'ai in multiple painful ways. Wei Jingguo charged her 1,000 Yuan for medicine expenses, then sent her back to the detention center for further persecution. Guo Ren'ai continued her hunger strike until she was again on the brink of death. She started eating again, and as soon as she had the strength to walk by leaning against the wall, Duan Xingfu, Song Dianlin, and others from the "610 Office" bribed Jiamusi Labor Camp to take her for the third time.
One time in the labor camp, Guo Ren'ai lost conciousness, and suffered amnesia. She couldn't remember her father or relatives, but the labor camp still wouldn't release her. After her time was served, they prolonged her confinement for ten additional days because she refused to give up Falun Gong practice.
On March 20, 2003, Duan Xingfu arrested Guo Ren'ai, already in critical condition, taking her back to the detention center for further torture. She became infected with scabies, causing her whole body to itch and making sleep difficult. Guo Ren'ai was five foot five, and originally weighed about 165 pounds. She was reduced to half her weight, and appeared to be skin and bones. It was terrible to witness her condition. On the fifth day of a hunger strike, she was sent to the Forest Department Hospital. The hospital refused to take her, and sent her back to the detention center. Because the police feared that she might die there, they sent her back home. Relatives who witnessed her condition could help but cry.
On September 22, 2003, Guo Ren'ai went to her department and talked to the bureau head regarding the salary that was seized from her. Security stopped her at the gate, and a vehicle came. Three police officers, including Kong Fanzhi, dragged her away without giving a reason. This treatment caused Guo Ren'ai's socks to come off, and her heels bled from the dragging. Her clothes were pulled over her head and she was covered in dirt. Policeman Xiu Xianglin kicked and stepped on her and shouted, "You can go and meet with Sun Jihong!" (Sun Jihong was a police officer from Huanan Forest Department who was beaten to death for appealing in Beijing.)
The police stuffed Guo Ren'ai under the seats in the vehicle and drove to the detention center, while Kong Fanzhi cursed Falun Gong. Kong Fanzhi learned that his wife had been beaten in a club and sent to the hospital, but he didn't see that he was actually receiving karmic retribution for his wrongful actions.
Guo Ren'ai was trembling uncontrollably. The police took her to Huanan Detention Center. Upon arrival, policeman Lin Chunxiang stomped on Guo Ren'ai with his heavy boots twice. An elderly inmate was so frightened she backed into a corner, trembling. Another prisoner almost had a heart attack upon witnessing the incident. They said they had never seen anybody stomp on a person like that before.
Guo Ren'ai had injuries all over her body from Xiu Xianglin and Lin Chunxiang's kicking, and she suffered in tremendous pain. On the seventh day of another hunger strike, the police took her to another cell, where a person sat on each shoulder, with a spike placed underneath, causing extreme pain. One person held her head while another held her legs. They brutally inserted tubes into her nose for force-feeding. Guo Ren'ai vomited a lot of blood, and they took her to the hospital in the pouring rain. Four police officers, Liu Chuanjiang, Wang Xiaochun, Zhao Honggang and Xu Wenqiang were watching over Guo Ren'ai. They put shackles on her feet, tied her to a bed and injected a solution into her. They were unable to inject her the first two days, and their attempt to force feed her failed as well. Guo Ren'ai's hands and feet were swollen, and she couldn't bend her legs. She was in so much pain she couldn't sleep, and was unable to use the restroom by herself. Later, she couldn't even turn over in bed. Even under these conditions the police kept her cuffed and shackled, claiming she might run away, but it was actually to torture her. One time a nurse, while changing the needles in Guo Ren'ai's arms said, "Let's do an experiment; it's quite entertaining." A guard then placed a bedpan containing urine and excrement to Guo Ren'ai's nose and forced her to inhale the fumes.
After 25 days of hunger strike, Guo Ren'ai was again in life-threatening condition, so police sent her back home. After she was home, she couldn't get any sleep for a week from the pain in her hands and feet. She lost two layers of skin from her hands and feet, and three toenails from her feet.

(Clearwisdom.net) After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, the "610 Office" (1) in Mengzhou and the police department headed by Li Guangjun, Liang Hongfei, Liu Xizhong, Li Shaobing and Li Peisheng viciously persecuted the local Dafa practitioners to gain promotions and obtain monetary rewards.
Dafa practitioners in Mengzhou suffered devastation, many were forced to become destitute and homeless, their fields unplanted, families broken up and decimated, and some of them were even persecuted to death or disability. Here we give a partial account of the facts of the persecution in the area, and hope that all kind-hearted people in the world will help to stop this inhuman persecution in China.
Geng Xuecai and his wife Shen Guangbai, elder daughter Geng Xiaocui and younger daughter Geng Juying were arrested in 2000. Geng Juying was taken to the detention center together with her eight-month-old baby. The infant was starved and cried all day because the mother did not have enough milk due to the poor nutrition in the detention center. When the baby wet its pants, even on cold snowy days, the baby was not allowed to have its diaper changed. A baby was thus made to suffer along with the mother. Shen Guangbai went on a hunger strike to protest and was force-fed. Even after Shen and her elder daughter were sent to Shibalihe Labor Camp later, Li Shaobing and others continued to go to Shen's home to harass the family and ransack their home many times.
On May 25, 2002, Li Shaobing and others jumped over the wall into the courtyard of Geng's house, and without any warrant arrested Geng Xuecai, his wife Shen Guangbai, their son Geng Huaming, and daughter Geng Juying. To send Geng Juying to labor camp, they forced her to have an abortion. They forcibly gave her injections to induce abortion. When she was in unbearable pain, several policemen looked at her and laughed cruelly, and as they watched her abort, they said lewdly, "Aren't you pretty' We just want to watch you have an abortion." Thus Geng Juying lost the baby under the malicious eyes of these wicked policemen. Afterward, Geng Juying was put into a brainwashing center in Jiaozuo City, Henan Province.
Shen Guangbai and Geng Huaming were released on December 17, 2002. But because he refused to give up Falun Dafa, the police kidnapped Geng Huaming again while he was shopping in the market and sent him directly to Xuchang Labor Camp. Geng Juying is still incarcerated in Shibalihe Labor Camp at present. All the family's comings and goings are under surveillance by Li Shaobing's gang. Whenever relatives or friends visit them, they will follow them into the house and interrogate them. Sudden bursting into the house to harass them is routine. Geng Caixue was sent to Jiaozuo brainwashing center again in October 2002 and was not released until January 28, 2004. On February 8, he was kidnapped to the brainwashing center once more, and has not been released as yet.
Zhao Yongzhong of Linqian Village, Zhaohe Town, was locked up in detention center in 2001. He was released after he went on hunger strike to protest the illegal arrest. Afterwards Li Shaobing often came to his home to harass his family. Zhao was forced to leave home and travel about destitute. He was arrested when he bumped into Li Shaobing one day in July. In the detention center, he went on hunger strike to protest and was force-fed. Several people held him on the ground and inserted plastic tubing into his nose to torture him, and to make him relent. They also often beat him viciously. Zhao was tortured until he was nothing but skin and bones, and unable to walk. His life was in danger so the detention center released him fearing the responsibility. At home, through studying the Fa and practicing the exercises, Zhao started to regain his health. But before he recovered, Li Shaobing and his gang again sent him to Xuchang Labor Camp, and he has yet to be released.
Tang Keyu, from Leiqianta Village, Xiaochou Town, was forced to leave home to drift about destitute after the police ransacked his home many times. In 2000, he was fined 2000 Yuan (2) for saying the true situation of Falun Gong. In 2001, police ransacked his home and took away all his belongings, including the seeds for his bean crops. Tang's wife protested the ransacking of their home and was given a beating by Mi Gelin and Xu Heping from the town's "610 Office." Tang was also kidnapped to the detention center, and beaten and tortured. Two months later his life was in danger. The detention center sent him home for fear of having to take the responsibility for his death. When Tang regained his health, he repeatedly asked to have his belongings back. Eventually, he was forced to make a payment to get back his own belongings. One night in January 2003, he was kidnapped to Mengzhou detention center. In June 2003 he was transferred to a brainwashing class. At the brainwashing class, there were 3 beds in each room, one for the practitioner and the other two for the guards. He was not allowed to leave the room or say anything to anyone. He was watched constantly, including going to the toilet and having a meal. At night he slept with his hands cuffed to the bed. Because he insisted on practicing Falun Dafa, he was sent to Xuchang Labor Camp 2 months later for 3 years of forced labor. He has yet to be released.
Fifty-eight-year-old Yao Guijiao, from Xihan Village of Mengzhou, was imprisoned in Mengzhou detention center in January 2001, because she went to appeal in Beijing. She was sent to a brainwashing center in June. In May 2002, she was reported when visiting a fellow practitioner, and was kidnapped by Li Shaobing and his gang. After a warden named Liu Ye in the detention center slapped her, she lost her hearing for days. She was put on heavy fetters that weighed a dozen kilograms or more, and her ankles were abraded and bled. In November 2002, she was transferred to Wenxian detention center. She was still fettered there and given very little to eat every day. Upon returning to Mengzhou detention center, her weight reduced from 180 pounds to below one hundred pounds. One month later, she died in the Mengzhou detention center.
Xing Linge's family (at Xiaochou Town of Mengzhou) never had a peaceful day since July 20, 1999. Her husband and daughter (both are Dafa practitioners) were forced to leave home and travel about homeless to avoid further persecution. Li Shaobing often came to Xing Linge's home looking for them, and searched and ransacked her home. She was often locked up, beaten and fined. In February 2000, police took her away and claimed that she had passed out Dafa materials. Policeman Li Guangjun slapped her, pulled her hair and handcuffed her to the railing of the stairway. She was denied food from the morning to midnight. In 2000, she was fined 2000 Yuan for speaking up for Falun Gong. The police forced her to report to them twice a day. Once, when the police could not find her, they arrested her husband immediately. Zhao Baozhong, Xu Heping and Mi Gelin tortured him viciously. The second day, they broke into their home and took away electrical appliances, farming tools and they even stole peanuts. The third day, Xing Linge was kidnapped and viciously tortured by the above people. Her elderly parents, who also lived at their home, could not bear the constant torment and passed away.
Zhao Jiao, Dafa practitioner from Mengzhou, was detained at the Shibalihe Labor Camp. The marks on her face and arm that were caused by a beating with leather shoes by Liu Xizhong and Li Peisheng still have not vanished after two months in Jiaozuo brainwashing center. Zhao is still incarcerated at the labor camp.

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa was first introduced to the public in May1992, in Changchun City, Jilin Province. The principles of the universe had come to the human world and helped people become Falun Dafa practitioners. Thinking back on the days that Teacher taught the Fa and exercises in Changchun, they were the happiest days of my life. Teacher said,
"I think that those who can listen to my lectures in person, I would say, honestly... you will realize in the future that this period of time is extremely precious." (Zhuan Falun)
I would like to share my experiences with everyone.
I Had Looked for Teacher Everywhere and Here Teacher Was, in My Hometown
I met Teacher in the golden fall season of 1992, and since then have felt that I have stepped on the path that leads home.
My life experiences had made me tired both mentally and physically. I felt I was too miserable to continue living. In order to escape the tribulations, I chose to cultivate and often went to temples to borrow some Buddhist books to read. To become healthy and fit, I attended all kinds of qigong classes. At the time I thought I had to find a famous teacher to teach me how to practice, and hence I started my life-long search for famous teachers. In the subsequent few years I went to Putuo Temple, Shaolin Temple, Baima Temple, Lingyin Temple, and Famen Temple etc. I even went to Emei Mountain, Leshan Mountain, and Qingcheng Mountains. However, I did not find a teacher.
In the fall of 1992, my neighbor taught me the Falun Gong exercises and said, "The teacher you were looking for could be Teacher Li. When he gets back to Changchun, we will go and meet him." One day four of us went to Teacher's home. Many people were there and so was Teacher. I knew Teacher immediately. I pressed my hands together and bowed to show genuine respect. I greeted Teacher and thought, "Teacher, finally I have found you." Tears were in my eyes. Teacher smiled and shook my hand. I was very excited and emotional, like a lost child that finally found his home. Those who had gone with me told Teacher my situation and Teacher was very happy. I asked to go to Beijing with Teacher to attend the Fa lectures. Teacher suggested I could wait until he held classes in Changchun.
While Teacher was talking to others, I looked around his apartment. It was a two-room apartment. The inner room was only large enough to hold a double bed. We were in the outer room, which was bigger, and contained a long sofa, a table, and two stools. At that time, whenever Teacher was home, his apartment would be filled with people. There were a few paintings of Buddhas that Teacher had painted himself. The Buddhas were all sitting on layers of lotus petals. There was also a clay Buddha statue that Teacher had made. Early tapes of Teacher's lectures showed the Buddha statue from Teacher's home.
For many years I went everywhere by train, by boat, and by airplane looking for a master. I never thought I would find Teacher that day, just walking up to meet him. There was only one bus stop between where I lived and Teacher's home. Teacher said,
"There are many people in the community of cultivators who have always attempted to practice toward high levels. They have traveled everywhere and spent a lot of money. They have not found the well-known masters after having been all over the country. Being well-known does not necessarily mean that one really knows things well. In the end, these people have traveled back and forth, spending much money and effort for nothing. Today we have made public to you this great practice. I have already delivered it to your doorstep." (Zhuan Falun)
That day I felt like I must have been dreaming to have really met Teacher. Right then I swore that I would follow Teacher and practice all the way until I reach consummation and return to my true home.
Attending Teacher's Lectures and Exercise Teaching Classes
Teacher came back to Changchun in July 1993 and held the fifth session of the Fa lectures and exercise classes in the Provincial Commission Hall. Many people attended. Shortly after that, Teacher held the sixth session at Jilin University. In May 1994, Teacher held the seventh and eighth sessions at Jilin University. I attended all four of these sessions. Later, I went to another session in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. In a place filled with more than one thousand people, it was absolutely quiet. When Teacher taught the Fa, he asked all staff members to stop working and concentrate on listening to the Fa lectures.
In all of the fifty classes I went to, Teacher was always there before the classes began and he would stand by the podium to watch the students coming into the hall. I took the opportunity to ask Teacher to have his picture taken with my family. In the picture, you can see that Teacher is holding a small piece of paper with a few sentences that no one else would understand. That was all Teacher used when he taught the Fa. Teacher had no script, and no plan. He spoke to us from his heart. Whenever I sat in the hall, which could be described as "the Buddha-light illuminates everywhere and rectifies all abnormalities," I would have my legs double crossed and my hands conjoined. I looked at Teacher's bright image and listened to the sound of his voice describing the universal principles, and telling us about the characteristic of the universe. Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is the Buddha Fa, and the true meaning of life is to return to one's true self. He told us to be selfless and to always think of others first.
In the sixth session of the Fa lecture and exercise classes, the Fa Teacher taught was a little higher level. When talking about the celestial eye, Teacher mentioned the issue of other dimensions. In other dimensions that exist at the same time and same place as this one, everything has its own form of existence. Teacher saw that we could not comprehend what he was saying, so he picked up the cup on the table and put it on his right hand. He asked everyone to watch closely, whether their celestial eye was open or not. Teacher used the thumb and index finger of his left hand to slowly pull another small cup from the original cup. The small cup looked exactly the same as the original one but was ¼ of the size. Teacher asked, "Did you all see it clearly'" Everyone answered with excitement, "Yes we did." Then Teacher slowly put the small cup back into the original cup. We could clearly see the small cup gradually merge into the original cup. Teacher let us see something that truly existed in another dimension, which cannot be explained by scientific means. Hence Teacher said,
"People ask how big the universe is. Let me tell you that this universe also has its boundary. Even at the level of Tathagata, however, one will regard it as boundless and infinitely immense. Yet the human body's inside is as big as this universe, from molecules to microscopic particles at the microscopic level. This may sound very inconceivable. When a human being or a life is created, his unique life elements and essential quality are already composed at the extremely microscopic level. Thus, in studying this subject, our modern science lags far behind. In comparison with those lives of higher wisdom on the planets throughout the entire universe, our human race's scientific level is quite low. We cannot even reach other dimensions that exist simultaneously in the same place, while flying saucers from other planets can travel directly in other dimensions. The concept of that time-space is completely different. Thus, they can come and go at will and at a speed so fast that the human mind cannot accept it." (Zhuan Falun)
Teacher Removed My Attachments
Teacher said,
"Let me also tell you that the content of this book has combined the Fa that I have taught in several classes. Everything was taught by me, and every sentence was spoken by me. Every word was pulled from the tape recordings and transcribed word for word. My disciples and practitioners helped me transcribe everything from the tape recordings. I then revised it over and over again. It is all my Fa, and what I have taught is only this Fa." (Zhuan Falun)
I was lucky enough to be part of the team transcribing the recordings of Teacher's lectures. In the classes of the seventh session, Teacher taught very high-level Fa. After the session was over, Teacher had us transcribe what he taught from the recordings of that session. The requirements were very strict; we had to write down every single word exactly as it was in the recording, and in a very short time. I was very excited the minute I got the tape. I felt that Teacher trusted me. I also thought this is not a difficult task; it was just copying something down, very simple and easy. Zealotry hence emerged. Teacher said,
"In other matters and in the course of cultivation practice, one should be sure to not develop the attachment of zealotry--this mentality can be very easily taken advantage of by demons." (Zhuan Falun)
When I was copying down words from the recording, I had a hard time accomplishing what I wanted to do. My memory was bad and my speed of writing was slow. For almost every phrase, I had to stop the tape player once or twice. I kept on stopping and rewinding. I felt I was going too slow and started to feel anxious. At the same time an attachment of fear emerged. I feared that I was falling behind, and I feared how other practitioners would look at me if I could not finish the work on time. Then, the tape player stopped working and I had to get a new one. In the end, I was far behind and needed help from other practitioners. I was the last one to finish the work. At that time we knew Teacher was going to turn the lectures into a book we would use to study the Fa. We did not know this precious book would be named Zhuan Falun.
In September 1994, Teacher held a small conference and answered questions from practitioners about cultivation issues. There were many questions and Teacher answered every one of them in detail. By the time the conference ended, lunchtime had passed. We asked Teacher to go to lunch with us. My attachments emerged again. I rushed home to get my camera and put in a new roll of film. I started to take pictures of Teacher for I knew that Teacher would soon leave the country to spread the Fa and teach the exercises overseas. The opportunities to meet with Teacher would be fewer and I wanted to have pictures of our time with him. I was busy taking pictures here and there. I took a picture of each person there with Teacher. I still thought it was not enough and kept taking pictures of Teacher. My husband, who was sitting beside Teacher, kept on passing me signals trying to make me stop. I thought that since Teacher did not say anything and he was smiling at me, it should be fine. I ignored my husband's signals and finished the whole roll of film. I took the film in to be developed right after the meal. The next day I looked at the negatives and saw that something unexpected had happened. The negatives were all black and had no images. I immediately enlightened that Teacher was helping me get rid of my attachments by giving me a direct hint. For showing his immense Buddha's grace, I could think of no word to express my appreciation and respect for Teacher. Even now, every time I realize I have attachments, I see Teacher's smiling face and the way he looked at me. I feel very ashamed that I do not meet Teacher's expectations, and then I try very hard to get rid of the attachments.
Under Teacher's compassionate care, I am able to be where I am today. I deeply feel that as long as we firmly believe in Teacher and the Fa, take the Fa as the Teacher, look inward, lose attachments without being moved, follow Teacher's Fa, don't go to extremes, and do our best to save sentient beings, we will be qualified to be called Dafa practitioners.
We ask Teacher not to worry. Practitioners from Changchun will take on the responsibilities of Fa-rectification practitioners and make sure we do the three things well. We will catch up with the progress of the Fa rectification and will not disappoint Teacher's compassionate salvation.

(Clearwisdom.net) World Journal reported in Chinese on May 17 that about 400 Falun Gong practitioners gathered on May 16 in the San Francisco Chinatown to celebrate the 12th anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction with parade, dance, displays, an exercise demonstration and personal experience sharing.
San Francisco Falun Gong spokesperson Zeng Yong expressed that it has been 12 years since Falun Dafa was first made public. May 13 each year is the World Falun Dafa Day. The event held by San Francisco practitioners on May 16 is also part of the celebration. Over the past 12 years, 100 million people from more than 60 countries throughout the world practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, the essential teaching of Falun Gong. Unfortunately, they are subjected to the extreme suppression by the Chinese government (Jiang's group). Therefore, the celebration on May 16 also included the solemn content of exposing the injustices of the persecution.
Falun Gong practitioner Duan Li also said that during the event, they would use the form of a play for the first time to show how the Jiang's group persecuted Falun Gong practitioners. The play would also display some "torture equipment". Zeng Yong added, we learn about the torture implements and methods through channels from China and victims' personal testimonies. They include the "Tiger bench", "winding up clothes" and the horrible "iron cage".1 The names are bad enough. The play denounces the injustices, and hopes to awaken more people to call on Jiang's group to stop the persecution.

Toronto City Council Member: I believe Falun Dafa will be powerful in Canada and in the entire world
This is the sixth annual event held by Falun Gong practitioners on the City Hall Plaza since 1999 to celebrate the worldwide spread of Falun Dafa. On the morning of May 13, the weather was exceptionally good and there was no sign at all of the originally forecast thunderstorm. The plaza was bustling with lots of people coming and going. Many Chinese people also came after hearing of today's event. Some even drove 24 hours from Manitoba to attend the celebration. Numerous people requested for truth-clarifying materials. Several thousand English materials were distributed in a few hours. Many people asked where they could learn the exercises and where to buy Falun Gong books. Practitioners in charge of instructing the exercises were quite busy all the time. A constant stream of people came to learn the exercises.
Dr. Dale, an educator, had attended events hosted by practitioners before. Seeing the freshly decorated plaza and practitioners' varied and colorful performances, she was quite impressed by practitioners' selfless and persistence. A practitioner who studies at the graduate school of the University of Toronto related her experiences of practicing Falun Gong and the changes the practice has brought to her: The neurasthenia that she previously suffered from disappeared. Falun Dafa inspired her to understand the meaning of life and how to really become a good person, to always consider others first and try to find her own problems instead of blaming others when encountering conflicts. Dr. Dale said, "This is very helpful to solve family or social problems." The practitioner expressed her agreement and also told her the cultivation story of Canadian practitioner Zenon. Zenon, a previously problematic young man quit smoking, drinking and doing dugs after he started practicing Falun Gong. He started treating life seriously. He went back to college to continue his study and began running his own company. Over recent years, Zenon and hundreds of thousands of fellow practitioners have been unyieldingly walking on their journey of opposing the persecution. At this point, Dale was very moved and said that this story should be heard by all people in this city. She said, "Don't they all wish more such kind of unselfish people in this city and the entire world'"
Toronto City Council member, Mr. Michael Walker, attended the celebration and read out the proclamation he and other council members issued to honor Falun Dafa. He said that the principles of Falun Dafa are believed by the entire city and also acknowledged by Canada and the United Nations. Falun Dafa should not be subjected to suppression. On the contrary, we should celebrate for the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance.
Mr. Walker directly quoted founder of Falun Dafa, Mr. Li Hongzhi's words to express his support and praise. He expressed that those who are persecuted would receive support from persons like him. He said that we should respect them and stand up for them. He believed that Falun Dafa would be more and more powerful in Canada and in the entire world, because, the principles of Falun Dafa touched people's hearts and the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance are what we should follow.

A special program of this year's celebration was to release the doves of peace to commemorate the Falun Gong practitioners who have lost their lives in the persecution.
In China, at least 961 Falun Gong practitioners have died from the persecution. Several hundred thousand practitioners are illegally imprisoned in labor camps, psychiatric hospitals and other places. They are subject to various kinds of physical and mental tortures. Canadian Falun Gong practitioners and they family members also encounter persecution in China. Jiang's group also extended their persecution to the soil of Canada. During the celebrations, Ms. Zhang Li, a Toronto practitioner recounted the persecution her husband suffered. Her husband was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in jail simply because he practices Falun Gong and sent a few emails with articles clarifying the real stories about Falun Gong to his friends. Through the rescue effort by Canadian government and people, he was recently released.
The Canadian Parliament unanimously passed a motion to condemn the persecution and urge the Jiang's government to immediately release the persecuted Canadian people's family members. Many labor unions and student associations also passed resolutions to support Falun Gong. During the process, artist Ms. Wang Yanying represented all persecuted practitioners to express thanks to Canadian government officials for their continuous support. Ms. Wang's husband and son were imprisoned in labor camps because they would not give up their practice of Falun Gong. Later through rescue effort, they were released ahead of their so-called terms. Ms. Wang presented two of her paintings to Ontario Health Minister George Smitherman and Toronto City Council member Mr. Walker.
Mr. Smitherman expressed: Many times, I stand with you and fulfill my promise. I'll always stand with you to oppose the persecution of freedom of belief. I applaud for your belief and your powerful resistance.
Buddha's light shines everywhere, heaven and earth are celebrating together
The celebration of Falun Dafa Day has become a tradition in the Toronto Chinese community. This year, practitioners carefully prepared varied programs including Chinese traditional dances, full-length singing and dancing drama, chorus by men, waist drum performance, traditional lion dance, chorus and Minghui School students' performances.
More than 40 practitioners used their leisure time to practice two songs, "Be saved" and "Seeking". Few of them had any basic trainings in singing. Through a short period of practice, they cooperated very successfully.
After the chorus, Minghui School students sang the songs, "Falun Dafa is great", "Greetings, Master!" and "Happy Birthday, Master!"
Western practitioners sang songs including "Coming for you" in Chinese. They also addressed Chinese friends on the spot to thank them for joining the celebration event and wished them to learn more about Falun Gong.
The full-length song and dance, "Ancient Gate of Heaven Is Opening" was full of power and grandeur, touching everyone in the audience.
In addition to art and performances, the event also included an essay contest and an awards ceremony. The theme of the essay contest was to extol "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance". The Toronto Chapter of the United Nations Association cosponsored this essay contest and participated in the judging. President of the Toronto Chapter of the United Nations Association Wojciech Gryc represented the judging committee delivered speech.
The event started at 11:00 am and lasted for more than 4 hours. Many office workers came on their lunch breaks to watch the performances and requested more information. Many people stood by the entrance of the City Hall and watched. On the afternoon of Sunday, May 16, Falun Gong practitioners also held a parade entitled, "Journey of Fa-rectification".

The parade was composed of five groups displaying the journey of Falun Dafa. Waist drum players group, dance group, Lion Dance group, Tang Dynasty dance group and a float added a great deal to the festive atmosphere. People were moved by the grace of Falun Dafa, and also were shocked by the brutal persecution imposed upon Falun Gong practitioners. Many people took the initiative to request truth clarification materials. Many people expressed, "I support you."

(Clearwisdom.net) In order to celebrate the 12th anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction to the public, on the morning of May 16, 2004, nearly 200 Falun Gong practitioners in Northern California held a group exercise in Washington Park near San Francisco's Chinatown, and later the practitioners held a celebration parade and performance.
The parade procession set out from Washington Park, led by waist drums players, following by a float, Tang Dynasty Costumes Dance group, banner group, and streamers group. The procession marched along the main streets in Chinatown. The sidewalk was crowded with people who were sightseeing and shopping. Many people videotaped and followed the procession all the way.
When the parade procession reached Chinatown's Garden Corner Square, the practitioners performed the exercises, dancing and a chorus. The drum performance attracted people from all directions to the stage. The peaceful exercises, beautiful dancing and singing were warmly welcomed by the spectators. Many people happily accepted truth clarification flyers and asked for information about practice sites.

Some government officials came over and talked with practitioners, and told us that they could see clearly the practitioners' performance and beautiful lotus flowers from the State Capitol. Some tourists requested to have a photo taken with practitioners or took pictures with practitioners as background.
Many primary school students passed by, and many of them followed practitioners to do the exercise movements. They especially liked the small paper lotus flowers and bookmarks that the practitioners presented to them. Their faces were full of smiles. A teacher also took a lotus flower and happily commented on how beautiful it was. When he learned that practitioners have been suffering persecution in China for five years, and Chinese primary school students would be deprived of the right to receive an education if they practiced Falun Gong, he was shocked and indignant.

On May 15, practitioners from Cincinnati and Dayton gathered at Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati to introduce Falun Gong to passersby and to expose the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Some people learned to practice the exercises from the practitioners on the spot.

The same day, on the shore of beautiful Lake Erie, practitioners from Cleveland held a poster exhibit downtown. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, sent forth righteous thoughts, and told passersby about Falun Gong and the persecution going on in China. Many people stopped to look at the exhibit. Some people stayed to ask for more information even after the activity was concluded.
On May 14, the annual "Columbus Cultural Festival" was held in front of City Hall in Columbus, the capital of Ohio, and the local Falun Gong practitioners participated. The practitioners' booth was near the statue of Christopher Columbus. A banner reading, "Falun Dafa is good" was raised in our booth. Practitioners in Tang Dynasty dresses were especially appreciated by passersby. Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, distributed truth clarification materials, and explained the facts about the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners in China.
The same day, the Ohio House of Representatives and Senate jointly passed a resolution to condemn the persecution of Falun Gong, and called on the Chinese government to immediately release Charles Li and other imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners. The resolution also urged the American government to take action to secure Charles Li's release.

In Bratislava, passers-by stopped to admire the words Zhen, Shan, Ren (Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance) which are the guiding principles of Falun Dafa, often remarking that those are exactly the values that the people of today need. One elderly man said, "If all people followed Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, our world would look completely different." Many people showed interest in the Falun Gong exercises.

In Brno, the practitioners stayed on a busy street with crowds of people passing by. It was so busy that it was difficult for the people to stop and watch the exercises, but many did stay to quietly observe the exercise demonstrations. The people thanked us for fliers and often asked why Falun Gong is being persecuted in China. After practitioners pointed out that former leader Jiang Zemin is very jealous of the practice's popularity, people accepted that explanation silently and showed their understanding. Many also demonstrated their disagreement with the persecution by signing a petition.

On May 15th in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, there was another activity to commemorate Falun Dafa Day. The well-known square "Staromestske Namesti" was full of people watching the famous astronomical clock under which practitioners of Falun Gong were peacefully demonstrating the exercises. Many tourists stopped and asked about Falun Gong and expressed their support after learning the facts. A short press conference was held with the participation of Olympic Watch secretary Petr Kutilek who read their statement against the persecution of Falun Gong in China, which was released on World Falun Dafa Day.

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 13, practitioners from Berlin and nearby cities gathered in the square of Berlin Commemoratory Church to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day.
Prior to Falun Dafa Day, young disciples at the Minghui school started to make paper lotus flowers. When the day finally came, they had made over two hundred delicate and beautiful different color paper lotuses in total. Each lotus was attached with a lotus poem written by Dafa practitioners. In the square, little disciples gave out the lotus flowers to passers-by with the truth-clarifying newspaper.
Posters regarding the spread of Dafa in the world and its effectiveness at improving people's health were also displayed, which attracted a lot of people to stop and watch. The peaceful exercise demonstration caught a lot of attention, some people immediately asked where to go for the classes. People were happy to accept the newspaper and leaflets, and many of them signed the petition to Jiang Zemin and his followers to justice.

(Clearwisdom.net) On Sunday May 16, 2004 Irish Dafa practitioners were joined by practitioners from England for an afternoon of activities to celebrate the Fifth World Falun Day. The day was full of golden sunshine, which meant that Dublin city centre was crowded with people. Practitioners distributed flyers and talked with people about the benefits of practicing Falun Dafa and the brutal persecution that is happening in China. The day began with a demonstration of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Many people stopped to watch the peaceful and graceful movements and listen to the beautiful exercise music.

May 13 not only marked the Fifth World Falun Dafa Day but also commemorated twelve years since Falun Gong was introduced to the public by Master Li Hongzhi. Practitioners chose to celebrate this special day by sharing some of the best aspects of Chinese culture with the people of Dublin and the many tourists visiting the city. The opening performance was a traditional Chinese waist drum piece. This is known as a harvest celebration in China and is traditionally believed to ward off evil ghosts and spirits. The drumming was followed by traditional Chinese fan dancing and parasol dancing. A young practitioner performed a musical piece on the Xiao (Chinese flute) and there was also a song by a small choir of Irish and UK practitioners.

The activities were repeated throughout the day for the large and ever-changing crowd of people passing by. The performances were interspersed with the most important performance of the day: the Falun Gong exercise demonstration. Qigong exercises are another typical part of Chinese culture and Falun Gong is the most popular qigong in Chinese history. The fact that 100 million people were practicing Falun Gong before Jiang Zemin launched the brutal persecution in July 1999 provides an insight into the enormous and horrifying scale of this persecution. When one takes into account the victimization and coercion of these 100 million innocent people's friends, families and even employers, it becomes obvious that the genocide happening at the moment in China is of proportions never seen before in history.
Many people passing through Dublin stopped to watch the performances and find out more about Falun Gong. Practitioners encouraged everyone to join the Falun Dafa celebrations; balloons and paper lotus flowers were given out to children and everyone could have their name written in traditional Chinese calligraphy characters. People asked questions such as why a practice that is so peaceful is suffering cruel and unfounded persecution. One can only be surprised that these enormous crimes against humanity arise from the personal jealous vendetta of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin and pleased that lawsuits have now been launched against this dictator in countries all over the world.
The celebrations of May 13 in Dublin were a great success. Many people enjoyed the performances and got to learn more about Falun Dafa.

This was the third art performance that the practitioners have given for the community. Nearly 400 people attended the celebration, which lasted for one and a half hours. Practitioner actors and Friends of Falun Gong actors gave the performance together, including solo, chorus, dancing, Erhu and Guzheng performances.
The celebration consisted of two sections: celebrating Master's birthday and the art performances. A harmonious and joyous atmosphere prevailed throughout the entire celebration activity. This was the fourth time that the local Falun Dafa Association has held similar celebration activities. The celebration activity was open to the public, so other than practitioners and their friends and relatives, some from the business community also attended.
A TV station from Indonesia and a local Chinese TV Station came to cover the celebration. Two local English newspapers and four Chinese newspapers ran an advertisement on behalf of the Falun Dafa Association and all Falun Gong practitioners to warmly celebrate World Falun Dafa Day and to send the highest respect to Mr. Li Hongzhi.
A small group gathered Thursday morning on Independence Mall to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the introduction of their spiritual practice to the world, and observation of the persecution that followed.
Women danced in beautiful pink dresses, carrying yellow fans. Children rolled around on the grass on Independence Mall, while their parents and friends gave out pamphlets and information.
It's all to celebrate that day in 1992 when practitioners of Falun Gong, a self cultivation practice, was introduced to the world at large, incurring the wrath of the Chinese government.

I have felt Teacher's benevolent care and constant hints for me many times. Teacher brought me back from the grasp of the old forces.
One day near the end of 2002, at 7 pm, I was on my way home from work. I was riding my bicycle, when suddenly, I felt dizzy and my limbs went weak. I could feel extremely bad things pressing down on me. I felt darkness in front of my eyes and I almost fainted. Right away, I realized that it was the old evil forces' persecution. I recalled that Teacher mentioned the signing of some kind of pact with the old forces. (Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.) At that time I thought to myself, "No matter what kind of situation I agreed to, I will firmly negate the old forces' arrangements. I will firmly walk on the path arranged by Teacher. I am a Fa rectification period Dafa practitioner. I have righteous thoughts and righteous actions. Nobody can control me. I will ride my bicycle home on my own, for sure."
It took me 30 minutes to lock my bicycle and enter my home. I sat down on the sofa and could not move. My husband heated dumplings for me. I ate only 4 or 5 of them with difficulty. He went out to play mahjong, while I lay on the sofa, feeling drowsy and as if I were dying. My neighbor knocked at the door and all of a sudden, I became clear. I struggled to get up and managed to open the door. My neighbor was looking for my son to fix his television. He said the picture was not clear. Since my son was not home, he left. I lay back down on the sofa and became drowsy again. Suddenly, I understood that it was not the television picture that was unclear; it was me who was unclear about the Fa principles.
Teacher said:
"But it's not that you can't get rid of it. As I just said, even if sometime in history you did sign some kind of pact, if today your righteous thoughts are very strong, you don't recognize it, and you insist on not taking part in it, then you can in fact reject it. But this is a bit hard for you to handle in a case like this. What's hard is that the old forces won't let you go that easily, they'll try to take advantage of your gaps, and when you're just a little bit off they'll seize the opportunity. So when your righteous thoughts are very strong they can't take advantage of you, and this is because in Fa-rectification Dafa doesn't acknowledge the old forces' arrangements, and I, as your Master, don't acknowledge them either. Of course, each one of our Dafa disciples says that we don't recognize the old forces' arrangements, but that's not something you just say--you have to follow the requirements of Dafa and the Fa-rectification. 'I absolutely will not acknowledge any of those things you arranged in the past, old forces. I don't even acknowledge you.' When your righteous thoughts are very strong you can purge it and you can reject their arrangements. (Applause) And that's because we absolutely cannot acknowledge them." I thought that I should not follow it. I would definitely follow the path arranged for me by Teacher. I struggled to get up. I sat down to send forth righteous thoughts and memorize the Fa. I eliminated the factors persecuting me from about 7 pm to past 1 am. I slowly recovered fully. I felt that my whole body become relaxed.
One day near the end of 2003, I was doing the sitting meditation when I heard the heater and other items producing noise. Afterwards, I felt many layers of evil pressing down on me. They were surrounding me. My head was pressed down as well, making it hard to breathe. I started reciting the Fa, sent forth righteous thoughts, strengthened them and eliminated every negative aspect in the universe. I felt myself making breakthroughs upward. I broke through many layers at unprecedented speeds. I did not realize how much time had passed, until I finally broke through all the surrounding pressure to emerge in a harmonious environment. I finally felt relaxed.
Now when I think back, those tribulations were actually nothing. However, at the time I felt as if sky were falling down on me. The blustering of evil minions and rotten demons, as well as, the true feeling of self seemed so real. Under powerful righteous thoughts and righteous actions, every negative aspect was broken into pieces and completely eliminated. Dafa practitioners' righteous thoughts come from the Fa. Studying the Fa well and understanding the Fa principles are the keys.
I wrote my experiences down and shared them because I have seen that some Dafa practitioners are in long term illness karma tribulations. I have even heard that two Dafa practitioners passed away due to "illness karma," so I wrote this down in a hurry.

years because they insisted on practicing Falun Dafa. About ten days before they
were released, both of them wrote so-called guarantees to "stop practicing the
exercises". They gave up their cultivation after release, stopped associating
with practitioners and refused any truth-clarifying materials. Employees of the
"610 Office" (1) visited them several times, bribing them with gifts and
promises to help them increase their salary or arrange a job for their son, with
the condition that they be agents to provide information about Falun Gong
practitioners' activities to the "610 Office".
I did not know this couple, but I went to their home one night on a referral
from a friend. After I introduced myself briefly, they became curious about my
being a new practitioner and let down their guard as "agents." They were
particularly surprised to know that I began practicing because a fellow
practitioner clarified the truth to me online, asking with astonishment, "Can
one learn Falun Dafa on the internet' How boundless the mighty power of Dafa
is!"
I shared with them my cultivation experience. When I mentioned some
practitioners they knew, they began open up. "Yes, there are truly many
miraculous stories," the husband said, "I was present that day too and saw in
person that this elderly woman's crooked hip bones straightened right up. It was
so touching that many people were in tears." The wife sitting next to him also
shared a story of how a young man who almost died from leukemia recovered
quickly after practicing Falun Dafa. She said it was a true rebirth.
I informed them that a young man had died several years ago since the "610
Office" forced him to write a guarantee to stop practicing Falun Dafa. She was
very surprised upon hearing this, and said, "The "610 Office" is too cruel. They
even forced such a person to write the guarantee statement'"
I asked them how their health was and whether they had illness or not. "There is
no situation where those who agreed to give up the practice don't become sick,"
the wife
said, "In the forced labor camp, every one looked healthy before they signed the
statement. They were very energetic and free from illness no matter how hard
they had to work. As soon as they wrote the guarantees, their faces would turn
black the next day and various illnesses would come. This is the truth. Everyone
was like this. There was not even one exception."
"Why did you write the guarantee statement then'" I asked with confusion.
The husband said, "I could not let go of sentimentality. My child was home
alone. I worried because he had to leave the light on for the whole night. Also,
they threatened to cancel my pension if I refused to write the guarantee
statement."

I said, "Since you know that Dafa is good, what a pity it would be if you
just gave up like this. If you know to come back from being lost and start all
over again, Master will forgive you. Those so-called guarantee statements would
only be considered a test you did not pass well in the process of your
cultivation."
The wife said, "Yes. I know too that Master is benevolent. But we've already
decided..."
I said, "Please read Master's new article since I've brought it here. You will
understand what happened and you will know what to do after you read the
article."
"No. You take it home," she said, "We dare not accept any articles. There are
people monitoring us all the time."
I looked at her calmly and said, "I know that there are people monitoring you,
but I still wanted to come. My home is far away from here. I left at 6:00
o'clock. It took me an hour on the bus and another two hours waiting for you at
your door. I haven't even had breakfast yet. I did all this for the purpose of
delivering Master's new article to you."
I continued, "You are clearheaded people, since you know Dafa is good. I
wouldn't be fulfilling my obligation to help you if you made a wrong decision
just because you had not received the new article, and did not know the
situation.
I added, "Similarly, it will be your choice if you still decide to give up and
if you are not moved at all by Master's words after you've read the new article.
Then you can return the article to me and I won't come to disturb you any more."
She lowered her head and became silent. The husband said, "Let us read it since
you've brought it here."
I left after I told them my contact information.
Several days later, the couple came to my office, asking me with a low voice,
"Have you ever sent solemn declarations saying the guarantee statements are null
and void for others'"
I said, "If you have declarations written, I can help you."

Police Send Dafa Practitioner Home in Police Car
There is a Dafa practitioner in Dalian City who is over 80 years old but he is very diligent in truth clarification. He collected many Dafa stories and made them into cards to distribute to people, occasionally placing them on vehicles. One day when he was putting a home-made truth-clarification card onto a minivan, three police officers came out of the vehicle. It was a police car. The police took the practitioner to a local police station. The practitioner seized the opportunity to clarify the truth about Dafa to them. He told them how he had physically benefited greatly from Falun Dafa. When the practitioner finished, the police sent him home in the police car.
How a Senior Came to Falun Dafa
One practitioner's father is 87 years old. Deceived by the government propaganda, he was once against Dafa and tried to stop his daughter from practicing. At the beginning of this year, he suddenly felt uncomfortable, and could not get better no matter how hard his daughter comforted him. Finally the daughter asked, "What exactly do you want me to do'" The father said, "Could you read your books to me'" The father was almost deaf, he had to turn the volume to the maximum when watching TV and others had to yell when talking to him. However, when reading the Dafa book to him, his daughter did not have to scream and he could hear it. After reading the book six times, he said, "Dafa is so good, why didn't you read it to me earlier." A life waited for Dafa for 87 years and finally obtained the Fa.
Government Official in a Remote Area Learns the Truth about Dafa
A government official in a remote rural area believed the lies on TV slandering Dafa until one day he received a truth-clarification DVD. He later told a Dafa practitioner that he played the DVD and learned the truth of the Tiananmen "self-immolation incident." He watched the DVD two more times, and said, "Now I finally know the truth. I will not respond to any request from higher authorities to control Falun Gong activities any more. Falun Gong practitioners can post posters or hang banners as they please, otherwise how could we know the truth'"
One night he received a phone call reporting several practitioners were having a meeting at some place. He said over the phone, "All right, I will take care of it." He hung up and went back to sleep.
(Clearwisdom.net) During New Year's Day of 2003, I told one of my co-workers about the changes that I have experienced after beginning cultivation and clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to her. I could not tell whether she had understood what I had said.
About six months later, she came to me unexpectedly and said that she had no other place to turn but to Falun Dafa for help. She had almost mentally collapsed and did not even want to live. She wanted to learn the exercises from me. I was certainly very happy to help her and lent her my only copy of Zhuan Falun, and urged her to read it from the beginning to the end. Since then, we meet with each other frequently. She always joyfully shares with me many of the positive changes in herself as well as the tests she has encountered.
She used to feel that her husband did not treat her well and so she was severely depressed. She felt that she could not live any longer. For the sake of her children, she knew that she must do something to help herself, yet she no longer had the strength. In her desperation, she remembered Falun Dafa. Prior to this, she witnessed a miraculous situation where another one of our co-workers began practicing Falun Dafa and then fully recovered from serious necrosis of his feet that was caused by diabetes.
Within a short period of time, she had read Zhuan Falun three times. Then she started to read Essentials for Further Advancement and Lectures in the United States. She can "Hold the Wheel" (Falun Dafa's 2nd exercise, a standing meditation) for up to 30 minutes and do the sitting meditation for 25 minutes. Her headaches are getting better and her cold hands and feet are becoming warmer. She realized that her health had been poor because her character ("xinxing", mind/nature) was not good enough. After practicing cultivation for a while, she can enlighten from amidst trivial things from the perspective of the principles of Falun Dafa and is able to discover her own attachments.
She told me that all of the sudden she understands many things she had been confused about before practicing. On the day the television stations in China fabricated a story which claimed that a so-called "practitioner" had poisoned the food supply, she could not help but to laugh at it. She does not think that anyone who has read the Falun Gong books would ever do such a thing and also thinks that those who have read the Falun Gong books will never believe that such behavior could belong to a Dafa practitioner. Before she decided to practice Falun Gong, she once told her 7-8 year old child that she would practice Falun Gong to find out if he would approve of it or not. Her child told her that he would kill her if she did. Obviously, the lies spread by the media in China had misled the child deeply. The lies spread by Jiang's regime have created a lot of hatred which has poisoned many children.
I told her that she should correct her child's misunderstandings and let him know the truth so as to escape the lies and so that he is no longer deceived. After she read the book Zhuan Falun, she told her child how good Falun Dafa is and about the health benefits that she received from practicing it. She explained that Falun Dafa is nothing like what is portrayed on television. The child finally knows the truth and strongly supports her practicing. From this, we should realize how crucial it is to save the innocent children!

Families and friends yesterday petitioned for the release of a woman jailed
for three years on the mainland for distributing Falun Gong material in
Shenzhen.
Speaking in Hong Kong yesterday, Fung Chi-man, 46, said he was desperate to have
at least a brief meeting with his wife, Fu Xueying, 28.
He has not seen or heard from her since her arrest more than six months ago.
"I was only told on May 10 that my wife was sentenced to three years in prison,"
said Mr Fung, a businessman.
He said that since her arrest he had been calling a judge responsible for the
case every week and every time had been told to call again later.
Mr Fung often travels to the mainland, while his wife runs a chauffeur business
in Shenzhen.
The couple married in 1998. Fu obtained a one-way permit to live in Hong Kong
last July. She was arrested in October while distributing material about the
Falun Gong in Shenzhen.
A Security Bureau spokesman said last night they were keeping in close contact
with the family and they would follow up the case.(1)
Mr Fung and about two dozen Falun Gong followers walked from Kwun Tong to
Kowloon City in a protest yesterday afternoon.
The group demanded the release of Fung and another Falun Gong [practitioner],
Lin Junhui, a mainlander arrested in November. She was sentenced by a Shenzhen
court to an unspecified jail term for returning with Falun Gong material after
visiting relatives in Hong Kong.

(Clearwisdom.net) On Friday, April 30 at 6 p.m., the Annual Movie and Television Arts Festival was held at the Mary Graydon Center of American University in Washington D.C. The children's movie, "Wish," produced by Chinese student Wang Jinwei of the Media School, was awarded the "Medium and Full-length Movie and Television Award." She was the only Chinese student to receive an award at this time. What's more, the film was the first Chinese film to win such an award. At the award ceremony, the winners granted permission to broadcast all the award-winning films on television stations in many states as well as through many satellite TV networks.
The film "Wish" describes, through the eyes of two Chinese girls who have lost their parents, what has happened in Mainland China since the persecution of Falun Gong began in July 1999. It covers the time during which Jiang's regime has fabricated lies and promoted state terrorism in the persecution of Falun Gong. During these years, many Falun Gong practitioners have been beaten to death or seriously injured. As a result of the persecution, families were torn apart, and many people became homeless to avoid persecution. This persecution not only violates the human rights of Falun Gong practitioners, it affects over hundreds of millions of families, and they are suffering deeply. Among those families, the children are also harmed both mentally and physically. In fact, this persecution is totally based on lies and it impacts every family and every child. In the film, these two children represent the tens of thousands of young people who endure deep anguish in their hearts. Through making cranes made of thousands of pieces of paper, they wish to end the persecution of Falun Gong as soon as possible. They hope that all the children will be able to come back to their mothers. Isn't this also the wish of tens of thousands of kind-hearted people'
The two young actresses in "Wish," Guoguo and Daodao, are both good students at school. They also study Chinese at the Washington DC Minghui School every weekend.
Guoguo's grandmother practices Falun Gong. Soon after the last Mid-Autumn Festival, the "610" Office took her to a brainwashing class and kept her there for two months. For the first few weeks, they didn't even let her family members know where she was being held. Guoguo's grandfather was very worried day and night. He was allowed to visit her once later, as he was given "special treatment" because of their 40th wedding anniversary. Because Guoguo's father and mother are working hard to raise the awareness of the persecution in China, her grandparents were told that they would not be allowed to come overseas. Her grandmother’s passport was also taken away. Guoguo misses her grandparents so much and she doesn't know when she can possibly see them again.
The entire film is produced in Chinese with English subtitles. Wang Jinwei, the producer, said, "I tried to bring forward a picture that truly expresses the wishes of tens of thousands of children persecuted in China. We couldn't have been successful without the two young actresses diligently narrating in Chinese. Guoguo and Daodao, the two young actresses, are also Falun Gong practitioners. Living in freedom in the United States, they haven't forgotten their young counterparts on the other side of the ocean. In China, the children are enduring persecution and pain they should not have to endure. In order to express their wishes, these girls used their free time to memorize the script so they could recite fluently, and the entire process went smoothly."

Falun Gong teaches people to be good, requires practitioners to always consider others first, and constantly improve their moral standard and mind nature. It allows practitioners to obtain good health and it is beneficial to any individual, family or the entire society. It has hundreds of benefits and harms no one.
Unfortunately, in China, some people with ulterior motives spread lies to defame Falun Gong in academic circles. These people spent large amounts of manpower, resources and time to counter a belief that promotes "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance". Teachers and students who practice Falun Gong are subject to persecution. Many teachers were fired and were forced to leave home to in order to avoid being illegally arrested. A number of students were expelled from school and lost their rights to continue their studies or graduate. Those officials who follow Jiang's persecution policies to suppress Falun Gong utilized all kinds of activities, and even composed exam questions in order to involve innocent students who did not yet know the facts about Falun Gong and position them against Falun Gong. Leaders forced teachers and teachers forced students and then students influenced their parents so as to achieve Jiang and his political group's goal of suppressing Falun Gong. Education is a matter of fundamental importance for generations to come. From the sharp contrast between Taiwan and Mainland China, we feel that children in Taiwan are really happy, because they are able to study and grow up in the environment where the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" is appreciated. Many children benefit from practicing Falun Gong.
An-hsi National Elementary School's Sports Meet
On May 8, 2004, An-hsi National Elementary School located in San-hsia Town, Taipei County and local the community held a sports meet. It was a sunny day. Many people attended. Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. Practitioners' serene and peaceful manner, the melodious exercise music and the gentle movements attracted many spectators.

The first row of the procession was a group of children. The youngest one was a 3-year-old girl. Her earnest demonstration of the exercises drew people's attention and won their praise. There were also two brothers in the 3rd, and 4th grade. They have been practicing Falun Gong for three years. According to their mother, prior to their practice, their health was not good. They often caught cold and suffered from asthma. Doctors diagnosed that the brothers suffered severe allergies and they had to take large amounts of medicine. After they started practicing Falun Gong, their health has become better and better. Over the past three years, they do not need to go to hospital or take any medicine. They are very healthy now.
Ms. Xu Hui-lin, who coordinated the practice demonstration, is a teacher from the An-hsi Elementary School. Four years ago she suffered from a severe disease that her nervous system seriously out of balance. She spent three years seeking treatment, from western medicine to Chinese medicine, from herbal medicine and folk prescriptions to diet treatments, from Qigong to Yoga, she had tried almost every method, but her health did not improve. One year ago, she encountered her schoolmate from college, from whom, she learned about Falun Gong. After reading through Zhuan Falun, the main teachings of Falun Gong, she was quite convinced by the principles illustrated in the book. After that she decided to practice Falun Gong and never give it up. Her health has gradually improved and her spirit and complexion became better and better. After witnessing improvements in her mental and physical health, her colleagues also became interested in Falun Gong.
Another teacher, Ms. Jiang Hui-min, from San-hsia Middle School also practices Falun Gong and has greatly benefited from the practice. She follows the teachings of Falun Gong to improve her mind nature and practices the exercises daily. Not only were her insomnia and depression cured, but the migraine and backache from which she had suffered for a long period of time were also healed without requiring any medication. She had never felt so relaxed and comfortable. Although her teaching load at the middle school is quite heavy, she said that she felt very energetic even when she had to teach six classes a day.
Some representatives from local communities were also invited to attend the sports meet. After listening to practitioners' explanation, they learned about the persecution occurring in China and could not believe that such a beautiful and peaceful practice was persecuted.

Apart from the exercise demonstration, a Falun Dafa information booth was also set up in the hallway. A lady was very happy to see the booth and said, "I've heard long time ago that this practice is truly good, but I did not know where I could learn it. Today, I finally found it." She took many free introductory materials and asked many questions.
In Taiwan, teachers, students and parents who practice Falun Gong often hold activities to introduce the practice at the campuses where they teach. Many campuses have practice sites. All of these allow more and more people to learn the beauty of Falun Dafa.

1. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Illegal Detention of Eleven Dafa Practitioners
During the evening of March 2, 2004, policemen transferred eleven Dafa practitioners from Chenzhou City's Luosiling Detention Center and from the Tiziling Detention Center to prisons far away from Chenzhou City. These practitioners have been illegally detained for more than one year. Four of them are from Chenzhou City, the other seven are from out of town. The Hunan Province "610 Office" (1) colluded with other departments and orchestrated the secret transfer and practitioners' sentences. They didn't notify the practitioners' families about the transfer, and destroyed the practitioners' letters to their families.
Jiang group's persecution has changed from overt to covert. One male practitioner transferred that night was originally from another city, but was arrested in Chenzhou City. Other practitioners learned of his situation in the car on the way to the facility, but his family and the outside are completely unaware of his arrest and sentence. Three practitioners were given food and water, so presumably they were going to a remote and isolated jail. Several female practitioners were sent to an unknown location. It is impossible for the practitioners to see each other because they are put in different cells, even though they are in the same prison. They also are allocated into different groups and are forced to do slave labor.

2. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Hunger Strike of Dafa Practitioner Huang Huajie
Dafa practitioner Huang Huajie from Jieyang City, Guangdong Province went to Beijing to appeal in mid April 2004. He was abducted and sent to the City's No. 1 Detention Center. According to an internal source, he has been on a hunger strike ever since he was arrested, and is in critical condition. 3. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Several Dafa Practitioners Illegally Sentenced to Imprisonment; Practitioner Sun Jianzhong Has Been On a Hunger Strike for One Month
Dafa practitioners Sun Jianzhong, Zhang Yunping, Zhang Jinlu, Han Xueyu, An Zhenjie from Tangshan City, and Guo Xiaohui from Langfang City were illegally sentenced to between three and seven years imprisonment at Lubei District's Court on Tangshan Road. They appealed to the Tangshan Intermediate Court but were rebuffed. These practitioners are being held at Tangshan City's Nanbao Prison, and are detained in solitary confinement cells. The guards attempted to "reform" them through the use of violence. Sun Jianzhong has been on a hunger strike for more than one month and his life is in danger.

4. [Gejiu City, Yunnan Province] Dozens of Dafa Practitioners Arrested in Datun Town
Dafa practitioners in Datun Town, Gejiu City, Yunnan Province distributed truth-clarifying flyers on March 3, 2004, leading to the arrest of dozens of them. Perpetrators are from Honghezhou, Gejiu City "610 Office," and from the police department. One Dafa practitioner was sentenced to forced labor and three practitioners are still being held.
5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Abuse and Torment of Dafa Practitioner Chu Liwen in the Weifang Prison
Dafa practitioner Mr. Chu Liwen, 49, was the Assistant at the Changyi Dafa practice site in Weifang City. Mr. Chu was sentenced to imprisonment for practicing Falun Gong, and was detained in the No. Six Detention Section of Weifang City Prison. On April 15, 2004, the guards shocked Chu Liwen with five electric batons until his head was severely swollen and injured. Chu Liwen persisted in Dafa practice.

6. [Tianjin] Persecution Accounts from the Bohai Petroleum Company in the Tanggu District
During the past several years, a dozen employees of the Bohai Petroleum Company have been detained and imprisoned for their persistence in Falun Gong practice. Practitioners Sun Hongjie, Ms. Li Huiying, and Zhang Weizhen are still being detained. Practitioner Ms. Li Yanxia was fired from her job. Practitioners Wang Junyue, Zhang Wensheng, Ding Youlin, Ms. Zhang Huizhen, and Xu Haitang were given a minimum salary without benefits under normal workload because they refused to write the "Guarantee Statement" (2). Recently, practitioner Fang Baoying, an employee of the Water and Electricity Plant, was abducted and taken to the Donggu Police Precinct in Tanggu District where she was interrogated for an entire day. Shandong Province's No. 2 Forced Labor Camp specializes in the persecution of Dafa practitioners. On February 20, 2004, perpetrators from Guangyang District's Police Precinct in Langfang City, Hebei Province abducted Dafa practitioner Yang Jianpo and held him at the No. 1 Group of Tangshan City's Kaiping Forced Labor Camp, Hebei Province. 9. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Abduction of Several Falun Gong Practitioners by Personnel from Tianhe District's Police Precinct
Some practitioners from Guangzhou City run a little restaurant with a very good business, but it is always under surveillance by personnel from the "610 Office" and from the police department. On April 23, around 6:00 p.m., more than 20 policemen from Tianhe District's Police Precinct broke into the restaurant, drove the guests away, held the clerks and some practitioners there, and looted all Dafa truth clarification materials, CDs, and a set of copying equipment.
At 10:00 p.m., police ransacked practitioner Chen Hua's house and confiscated all Dafa books and materials. At 12:10 a.m., when police cuffed Chen Hua and were ready to take her away, Chen's husband (not a practitioner) wanted to say farewell to her, but policeman Zhang pushed him away. Practitioners arrested that night were held in the Tianhe District' Detention Center. They include Ms. Dai Yanhong, Mr. Li Yongjun (Dai's husband), Wang Yuqing, and Mr. Zhang, who is in his 30s. Police didn't allow family members to' visit, and forced a family member of a practitioner to sign a criminal indictment. Practitioners are to be tried in court illegally.
Prior to this incident, practitioners Li Qiong, Mao Jingxian, and Dai Yongmei, Dai Yanhong's elder sister, who's been held in the Chatou Legal Institutional School (a brainwashing center), had been arrested. On April 22, 2004, practitioner Bao Shousen of Kunming City, Yunnan Province was reported while distributing Falun Gong truth clarification CDs to employees of the same working unit, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Yunnan Province Worker's Hospital. Police abducted him from the hospital. Now he is being held in the province's No. 2 Forced Labor Camp. The hospital administrator boasted, "Find one, arrest one."

11. [Xishui Area, Hubei Province] Truth Clarification Banners Draw the Attention of Several Hundred People
During the night of April 11, 2004, practitioners successfully hung four huge banners on the top of a 70-meter-high communication tower, which is located at the center of the streets in the Central Town in the Xishui Area, Hubei Province. The writing on the banners reveals that three policemen in the area tortured three practitioners to death. Ever since 5:00 a.m. the next morning this has been breaking news in the area. The banners attracted over 400 people observing in the area. They admired from the bottom of their hearts, that practitioners daring to hang those huge banners on the top of a tower of such height. They were angry at the viciousness that the banners exposed. Some criticized the police for treating Dafa practitioners too brutally, while others directly rebuked the evil head Jiang's absurdity in trying to put down Dafa these past years. After reading the banners, a man of over 40 years old said, "Jiang Zeming did not deal with the big corruption cases or help hundreds of thousands of unemployed workers living in poverty; he's only hard on those who believe in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." This is the opposite of heaven!"
12. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Latest Information Regarding Zhang Shunying
On February 25, 2004, police broke into Zhang Shunying's rental house and arrested her. She was' with her husband at that time, but policemen broke in while her husband was outside, and beat her. He heard the painful moans. This was verified after she was taken to the Tianhe brainwashing class where two people monitored Zhang Shunying even while her family visited her. The two people did not allow her to refer to any sensitive topic. She is allowed only minimal sleep. She is being forced to read information that slanders Dafa, and she was interrogated for a very long time. Her family members are followed when going outside their home. Due to Zhang Shunying's determination in her belief, she was recently sent to a detention center. Her family was notified on April 29, 2004.
13.[Gejiu City, Yunnan Province] Illegal Arrest of Xie Manhua and Li Ping
On October 25, 2003, authorities from Yiyang City's Police Department, Hunan Province arrested practitioner Ms. Xie Manhua from Gejiu City, Yunnan Province, who was living in exile. 'She had been distributing truth-clarification materials in Yiyang. Police confiscated several thousand Yuan in cash, along with bank deposit certificates that she had with her. She has now been sentenced to three years of imprisonment and is being held in Changsha City's Female Prison.
Ms. Li Ping, a practitioner from Gejiu City but working in Yiyang, was also arrested with Xie. She has been sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor, and is currently being held in the Zhuzhou City Female Forced Labor Camp.
14 . [Taishan City, Guangdong Province] Second Abduction of Three Practitioners from Taishan City Before the May 1 Holiday; Authorities from the "610 Office" Responsible -- Belated News -
In 2000, Mr. Ruan Xianchou, 34, a government official from Sijiu Town, Taishan, Guangdong Province; Mr. Huang Jianyu, 32, a former teacher in Taishan City's Overseas Chinese Middle School and Guangdong Province's Dajiang Middle School; Mr. Li Haiqiang, 29, a telephone booth owner, all went to appeal in Beijing in accordance with the basic rights granted by the Constitution. They only said "Falun Dafa Is Good" to government but they were unlawfully sentenced to two to three years of forced labor. Later they were sent to the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp for abuse, mistreatment, and torment under the persecution. They were released in 2003.
On April 20, 2004, using the excuse of having a talk with these three practitioners, the Jiangmen City "610 Office," in collusion with some related personnel of the Taishan City "610 Office," abducted them and ransacked their homes, garages, and workplaces. The practitioners' computers, money, and other belongings were confiscated, and practitioner Huang Jianyu was beat so severely that he showed bruises. The police also beat and kicked Ruan Xianchou. Now the three practitioners are being held in Taishan City's Second Detention Center.

16. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Arrest of Liu Wansheng
On the evening of April 15, 2004, policemen from Jinzhou City's National Security Bureau abducted practitioner Liu Wansheng. Special agents from the bureau then illegally searched Liu Wansheng's home. The whole home was turned upside down, as they confiscated Dafa books and truth clarification materials. Afterwards, police broke into the house of Liu Wansheng's son, who is not a practitioner, and was 'not at home. Police pried open the drawers and took his son's a bank deposit certificate of forty thousand Yuan, a gold necklace, computer, CDs for games, an unopened gift box with a fine belt inside, about 70 Yuan cash, and an MP3 player his son had borrowed.
A bank deposit certificate for over eight hundred Yuan, and twelve hundred Yuan in cash that Liu Wansheng carried with him, were looted as well. Meanwhile, the store that he runs was ransacked. The safe was pried open and over 800 Yuan in cash was taken. Afterwards, perpetrators from the National Security Bureau in Jinzhou City intended to extort 20,000 Yuan in cash by promising that they would release him if his family members would hand in the money, but his family members rejected their offer. The vicious personnel thought that if they couldn't extort anything they would punish him, so the "610 Office" perpetrators in Jinzhou City's National Security Team sent Liu Wansheng directly to a forced labor camp.

It was reported that Dafa practitioner Zhang Jinsheng from Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province was arrested in Nankouqian Town, Qingyuan County.

On April 22, 2004, police ransacked the house of practitioner Ms. Zhan Yulan in Qingyuan County, Fushun City. Zhan Yulan was forcibly taken away. Police looted a copy machine. Detailed information is not yet available.

19. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Abduction of He Lizhong and Li Suyun
During the morning of April 14, 2004, officers from the Jiangjun Police Precinct abducted Dafa practitioner He Lizhong, who lives at Jiangjun Street in the Shuncheng District, Fushun City. Ever since He Lizhong escaped from Fushun City's Forced Labor Camp using the power of righteous thoughts in December 2001, he has been homeless to avoid being persecuted.
On April 15, 2004, in the Hedong Area, Shuncheng District vicious people abducted Dafa practitioner Li Suyun, who lives on Xinhua Street, Shuncheng District, Fushun City. On April 20, 2003, Li Suyun was abducted. The persecutors were officers from Fushun City's Gongyuan Police Precinct. Ever since escaping from the police precinct she has lived the life of a homeless person to avoid being persecuted.
20. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Abduction of the Elderly Yang Hua Couple
At the end of April Ms. Yang Hua, age 60+, who lives at the dorm of the second district of Shijiazhuang City's Chemical Fertilizer Factory, was arrested along with her husband who doesn't practice Falun Gong. The details are being investigated.

At about 5:00 a.m. on April 23, 2003, lawless policemen Zhu Feng, Xie Wenping and others, led by Zhao Zhenguo, Shulan City's Dongfu Police Precinct chief, broke into Dafa practitioners' houses for search and seizure. It is currently believed that five Dafa practitioners were abducted, including Song Wenhua, Wang Jie, Ms. Chen, Ms. Guo Qingfen, and her husband Mr. Jiang.

22. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Tianhe Police Precinct Abducts Eight Dafa Practitioners
At about 5:00 a.m. on April 23, 2004, while people were sleeping, chief Zhang of the Tianhe Police Precinct led lawless policemen Yin Jifang, Sun Jiku, Ren Zhongqiu, Li Haisheng, and others to break into Dafa practitioners' houses. Currently, it believed that several Dafa practitioners were abducted including Ms. Shao Guizhi, Cao Xiawen, Ms. Ma Shuyun, Ms. Cheng Qiuyan, Mr. Meng Xianglin, and his wife Ms. Zhai Jichun. 23. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Abduction of Cao Guiqin by Sulan City's National Security Team Enforcers
Ms. Cao Guiqin, 39, is from Shulan City. Between 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on April 22, 2004, while she was cooking, four or five policemen got out of a patrol car, went into Cao Guiqin's home, abducted her, and took her to the National Security Team headquarters. When her husband and child returned at noon they found their house was a total mess. When her husband went to the National Security Team to request the release of Cao Guiqin, on a desk he saw the order for ransacking Cao's house, which was issued by Xiao Yong, head of the National Security Team, along with a document with Xiao's signature, which stated that Cao Guiqin was sentenced to a year of forced labor. Cao Guqin's husband asked Xiao Yong why he arrested Cao. Xiao Yong replied, "We are sending her to forced labor only because she practices Falun Gong. You can sue me anytime you want. If you want to sue me, you'd better sue the police department." He also said nobody would dare to represent this case in court.''

Mr. Yu Yongtao, in his 40s, from Hegang City, was a laid-off employee from the Nanshan Mining Company. At the end of April 2002 lawless officials forced him to live in exile. It was heard that on April 13, 2004 the Gongnong Police Sub-station enforcers arrested him out of town. He is currently being detained at the city's No. 2 Detention Center.

Facts of the Persecution
(Fuyang City, Anhui Province) On April 16, 2004, Police officers Zhang Xianglin, Xu Ming and others from the Fuyang City "610 Office" (1), National Security Bureau, and the Yingquan Branch of Public Security Bureau abducted over ten Dafa practitioners. Mr. Wu Yufeng was among those abducted. Previously, on May 29, 2003, police officers from Yingquan Branch of the "610 Office" from Jieshou City Public Security Bureau went to the Fuyang City Department Store where Wu worked. They lied to Wu's manager saying, "We need to talk to Wu for a while and will let him go shortly." But actually Wu was detained. Wu went on a hunger strike to protest, and was released five days later.
(Changchun City, Jilin Province) My name is Wang Xiuge (female), and I will be 58 years old this year. My home is on West Five (Xiwu) Street in the Kuancheng District, Changchun. So far I have been detained four times, sent to forced labor camp once and sent to a brainwashing center twice. Police officers and local street officers harassed me over ten times at my home. The only reason for this mistreatment is that I am a determined Falun Dafa practitioner who wants to be a good person and an even better person by following "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance."
(Yushu City, Jilin Province) Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Yulan from Baotian Village, Yumin Township, Yushu City was abducted to the Changchun City "610 Office" to be persecuted on March 1, 2004. On February 20, 2004, 16 Dafa practitioners from Qingshan Township, Yushu City went to clear snow that was blocking traffic, but they were abducted as a result. Police officers then started an even larger scale of arrests. Dafa practitioners Ms. Xu Yanying, Ms. Zhang Junyan, Jiao Chuanfu, Ms. Liu Shuque, Ms. Zhang Liyun, and Ms. Gu Fengyun were abducted. Practitioners Mr. Jiao Shoutong, Mr. Liu Wenxi, Mr. Chen Yaohui, Ms. Deng Lique, and Ms. Liu Jixiang were forced to leave home to avoid further persecution. Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Liyou was abducted to the Yushu Detention Center where he suffered brutal torture, and then was transferred to the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changcun City. On the day of transfer, he was beaten continuously, fainting many times. One of his lungs was damaged, causing him to cough and have difficulty breathing. He needed support even when walking.
(Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province) On April 12, 2004, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were abducted from apartment 301, Building 19 in the residential area of the Shijiazhuang Tractor Factory. Their names have not been confirmed. It's known though that Mr. Huang Wei and Miao (gender unknown) are among them. An officer claimed that they would send Huang Wei's wife Hao Qiuyan to a brainwashing center, which forced her to leave home. The seven practitioners' situation is unknown.
(Nanyang City, Henan Province) Since mid-February 2004, police officers in Nanyang City have arrested Dafa practitioners including Hui Rongqi, Chuai Shuqing, Ping Dingrui, Zhao Zhongqing, Zhang Haoyang, Zhu Tianqing. In March, Chuai Shuqing escaped. The other five are now at the Sheqi County Jail and Detention Center. Hou Dongwei was fired because he practices Falun Gong. On April 24, 2004, Hou was abducted to the Sheqi County Detention Center. On February 26, 2004, 20 Dafa practitioners held an experience-sharing meeting, but they were all arrested, and detained at the Fangcheng County Detention Center. It's known that practitioners Chen Ping, Chan Shumei, Jia Yanjie, Yu Hao, Pan Yusheng, Sun Xiaojuan, and He Shunrong have been sentenced to prison terms.
(Rushan City, Shandong Province) I am Wang Yuzheng (female), a 40-year-old resident of Beijiang Village, Xiacun Township, Rushan City. Since I insist on practicing Falun Dafa, I have been abducted many times, and was forced to leave home. I suffered a lot from the persecution, which has rendered me only skin and bone.
(Zhucheng City, Shandong Province) Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Pingshen is 48 years old. He is an employee of the Zhucheng City Electrical and Mechanical Equipment Company. In March 1998, he started practicing Falun Gong, which cured his serious illness. Since the persecution of Falun Gong started in July 1999, he has been detained 7 times, and was sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp. When he was sent to the Changle Forced Labor Camp, he had a relapse of the serious illness from being persecuted for a long time, so he was released and sent home the same day. His home was searched once, and he had 7,000 Yuan (2) extorted from him.
