Dafa Practitioners Are Brutally Tortured at Jianxin Forced Labor Camp in Tianjin City

(Clearwisdom.net) The Jianxin Forced Labor Camp in Tianjin City has been
systematically persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, using extremely brutal,
inhumane means. The head of the Sixth Division, Liu Yuxia, and prison guards Pan and Ji (last
names), use all kinds of methods to try to force Falun Gong practitioners into
writing the "Three Statements" (1). If
practitioners refuse, they threaten: "If you do not change your mind, what
awaits you is only death, and your death will be counted as a natural
death." When Dafa practitioners persist in their belief, the prison guards
brutally abuse them at will, using such methods as beatings and verbal abuse,
violently scratching sensitive body parts, tying up practitioners tightly,
pushing sewing needles deeply into their flesh with only the eye of the needle
left showing, shocking them by inserting electric batons into their mouths or
other parts of their bodies, and depriving them of any sleep for several months
on end. The male prison guards have even stripped the clothing off of young unmarried
female Falun Gong practitioners, prodding them all over their bodies with
electronic batons. In one particularly cruel torture, the prison guards force Dafa practitioners
into a very narrow wooden box where the practitioners can only stand, and it is
extremely difficult to breathe. They were locked standing in the box for more
than ten days or even longer, without sleep, toilet use, and a lot of the time
with no meals. In the meantime, the prison guards constantly shocked the
practitioners with electric batons, sometimes using seven or eight electric
batons simultaneously. Dafa practitioner Ms. Xu Weiwen, who used to be jailed in the Fourth Team,
was tortured to death in March of 2003. Prior to her death, she was emaciated
and looked as if she was withering. Over the past four years, many Falun Gong practitioners have suffered inhuman
physical and mental abuses that have rarely been seen or heard of before in
history. So many Dafa practitioners have lost their lives under the persecution.
Jiang and his followers refer to the brutal process of forcing people to give up
their thoughts and belief as "transformation." This is the appalling
truth of the so-called "transformation" we have witnessed. (1) The "Three Statements": Practitioners are coerced under
brainwashing and torture to write these as proof that they have given up their
belief in Falun Dafa. The three statements consist of a letter of repentance, a
guarantee to never again practice Falun Gong, and a list of names and addresses
of all family members, friends and acquaintances who are practitioners.
