Beijing Police Create "National Guard Team" to Implement State-Terrorist Tactics Against Dafa Practitioners

The police stations in all districts and counties of Beijing maintain a team of people -- the National Guard Team -- whose job is to constantly monitor Falun Gong practitioners. This team organizes and scouts for opportunities to abduct practitioners and ruthlessly strikes whenever they are given the order. In parts of the countryside, this team has climbed over walls and entered windows to raid homes and abduct Falun Gong practitioners. The team was especially active around the Party's 16^th Congress, when Jiang's regime issued a secret order whereby all districts and counties were required to arrest Falun Gong practitioners.

National Guard Team operatives drive unmarked vehicles and do not wear police uniforms. They do not attract attention to themselves in any way. The team operates under secret orders and persecutes practitioners covertly. When they attack, they do so underhandedly, sneaking into the practitioners' apartment buildings at night, ordering the building management to deceive practitioners into opening their doors so that they can enter. This team disguises themselves and secretly investigates homes; they wait until practitioners are home before forcefully rushing in and arresting them. If family members resist these actions, they are arrested along with the practitioners and held under charges of obstructing law enforcement.

During one raid, amidst the shouts and cries of adults and children, a practitioner was seen being forcefully taken into a car. On the street, barking dogs and peoples' shouts were heard everywhere. The villagers peered from cracks in their doors and sighed, "This is much worse than the bandits of the past."

The National Guard Team also frequently stages ambushes along the roads where Falun Gong practitioners travel. In isolated areas they watch for practitioners as they travel along these lonely roads, and wait for opportunities to forcefully seize a number of them. Any eyewitnesses and passers-by would all claim that they did not see anything or know what had happened, as they were afraid of repercussions for speaking out.

In the last several years, the Jiang regime has abused the authority of the government, and has deployed massive manpower and financial resources to persecute defenseless citizens of China. They have never allowed the victims to protest. They cruelly persecute Falun Gong practitioners who go to appeal and clarify the truth. During the state-terrorism that Jiang has approved and instigated in China, many Falun Gong practitioners have been killed or injured, families have been broken up, and many people have been forced to leave their homes and become destitute and homeless. In addition, numerous Falun Gong practitioners' family members, relatives, friends and colleagues have all been subjected to different degrees of harassment and brainwashing.
